Atem was lying on a bed in the hospital with his left leg evaluated. He had broken his leg while assisting his mother with fixing the house.

After his parents got divorce, he became the man of the house and took care of all the bills. Whenever he was home he would do stuff around the house Yugi or his mother wasn't able to do.

Reaching for the TV remote, Atem turned up the volume on the already on TV to hear the news anchors talk about Anzu's latest victory.

He smiled hearing that she won another tournament.

After talking about Anzu's victory, a picture of Kaiba with a female that had long white hair, pale skin and blue eyes appeared. The caption had Billionaire now engaged to girlfriend of two years.

Atem's mouth nearly dropped. For years he thought that Anzu was dating the CEO of the largest gaming company in the world.

Hearing a knock on the door, he turned to see the last person he expected to see.

Anzu was resting against the door of the room wearing a black blouse with a red mini skirt and black knee length high heel boots. In her hands was a bouquet of red roses.

"Hey!" She softly said.

"Hello." He replied.

Anzu noticed the news feature about Kaiba and his upcoming wedding.

"Kaiba and Kisara have been together for a while now and he is happiest when he is with her." Anzu informed the male.

"I thought..." Atem mentioned, shutting off the TV.

"That Seto and I are together?" She finished his sentence.

Atem nodded. "Yeah."

"A lot of people assume that. He is just my sponsor and recently my friend." She informed him. "Anyway I heard from a source you were in the hospital and thought I would come by to come visit."

"You came by to just visit?" Atem raised a brow.

"That and to take a break." She added. "After college Seto has had me in several duelling tournaments with little to no break. I am even apart of his upcoming Battle City Tournament. Before that he wants me back in Cairo to help promote another one of his duelling competition. Apparently the first one was so successful that a number of duellist have signed up for another one."

"That's great." Atem congratulated her.

"What have you been up to recently?" Anzu questioned.

"Duelling, helping Mom around the house and planning the wedding." The male replied.

Anzu was about to say something when a brunette with dark skin, blue eyes and brunette hair entered the room. She had on a tightly fitted mini brown dress with black flats.

"Atem darling." She said before seeing Anzu. "Anzu..."

Anzu sensed by the tone in Mana's voice that she wasn't happy to see her.

"Hello Mana." Anzu put on a fake smile. Looking at the male, she said. "I better get going. Mom and Dad doesn't know I am back yet and I should go home before they leave for their weekly date night."

"Bye Anzu." Atem replied.

"See yah." Mana said before Anzu left.

As she closed the door, the brunette soon heard Mana and Atem arguing.

She shook her head before leaving.

Upon reaching home, Anzu opened the door to reveal a woman with dark skin, long black hair and brown eyes preparing to leave. She had on a brown dress with black heels and black handbag.

"Anzu?" She questioned.

"Hey Mom." The brunette replied, closing the door.

"Well this is a surprise. I thought you were in Egypt. I had asked Marik to check up on you while there."

"Uncle came to see me along with his woman of the week." Anzu mentioned. "I came back to take a break from duelling."

"And to see Atem?" Isis added. "I have a feeling you heard about his upcoming wedding and him hurting his knee."

Anzu sighed. "Yeah. Mom, what am I going to do? Atem is the only person I have ever loved and been with. I know it's been three years but I never stopped loving him."

Isis smirked. "The Anzu I know would fight for her man. Till the day he says I do, he is fair game. I can tell he still loves you, baby. Whenever I am in your room cleaning it up I would sometimes glimpse him looking over to see if it is you in there. Plus his mom mentions that he still looks at a picture of you and him."

Anzu smiled. "Thanks Mom."

"See you later baby. Your Dad is waiting for me at the restaurant." Isis mentioned before leaving.

The Next Night

Anzu was going through her emails while contemplating whether to take up Seto's offer to promote the next duelling tournament in Cairo. He wanted her back in Egypt as soon as possible to start the promotion.

She had on black leggings and a pink blouse.

Sighing, the brunette looked over to Atem's room and saw the male in his room unpacking his clothes. He had on a black shirt with a purple shorts.

Putting down her laptop, she existed the room through the window before going over to the male's window.

Knocking on the glass, Atem noticed her. He went over to the window and opened it.

He then asked. "What's up?"

"I have a deal for you." Anzu stated.

"What?" Atem looked confused.

"I came back to Domino for you." Anzu informed him. "When I heard you were hurt and getting married I quickly came back to try and win your heart. I don't want to continue living life without you in it."

"Anzu! I am getting married soon." Atem nearly yelled. "You can't go around and do this."

"Better now than before you say I do." Anzu replied. "I will duel you. If you win I will buy you a wedding present and leave your life forever. If I win, you admit how you really feel about me and end things with Mana."

Atem thought about it for a while before answering. "Deal! You know you are going to lose especially since I have the Eygptain God Cards in my deck."

The male had won them from the first Battle City Tournament Kaiba held.

Grabbing their duel disk and deck, the two went to the back of the male's house to start their duel.
