"So, how was it yesterday with Alison? I know there is something that you and Adrien are not telling us. Maybe like the full story!" Alya said to the bluenette. "Fine, you got us. We have not told you everything." Replied Marinette. "What happened after you and Adrien left the Orphanage with Alison?" Alya asked. Marinette looked over at her daughter playing on the swings before turning back to her best friend, "I think we should wait for the boys to come back before we talk about that." Marinette said. Alya did not answer but just nodded her head. While over at the swings Nino and Adrien were pushing the girls on the swings when Nino asked, "So, what happened yesterday?"
"I think Marinette and I should tell guys together," Adrien said to his best friend.
Ten minutes later while the two girls were happily playing on the swings, Nino and Adrien walked back towards Marinette and Alya. Once they had sat down beside their two friends, Marinette and Adrien were bombed with questions from their reporter friend. "Alright Alya, we will tell you," Adrien said. "So, after we took Alison to Marinette's house, everything seemed fine she even settled in okay. But the only problem was that she would not talk at all." Adrien explained as Nino and Alya listened carefully to them "So, she has not said a word at all since you guys took her home from the Orphanage?" Alya asked. "Well, she did talk a bit this morning when she called me 'Mummy' and Adrien 'Daddy'." Said the Bluenette. "But that was after when last night Marinette told her if she wanted too, she could call us Mummy and Daddy. We did not think she would say something so soon." Adrien added, "Well, at least she finally said something." Nino said as Marinette and Adrien nodded.
While the four of them were talking, Alison and Ella were in the middle of playing a game of tag. Alison was starting to slowly warm up to Ella which was enough for her to say a few more words. "Tag ur it!" Ella said as she tagged Alison. Alison giggled as she chased after Ella. "Ur it la." Exclaimed Alison. The girls were having fun playing tag until Alison saw someone watching her. When Alison saw this person watching her, she started to panic and she collapsed onto the grass crying when she had a flashback from her past. Ella saw Alison in the ground crying with her hands over her ears. Ella went up to Alison and said, "Ali, ou alwight?" Ella got no reply, so she ran off to get her parents and her Aunt and Uncle.
FLASHBACK...
"You're a stupid little brat!" Alison is slapped across the face. "Why won't you shut up and stop crying before I make you cry about something!" Alison gets thrown across the room. "Mummy."
"Don't Mummy me you little coward brat!" Alison gets smacked. "Whewe Daddy?"
"DADDY LEFT US BECAUSE OF YOU. NO ONE WANTS YOU, EVEN I DON'T WANT YOU. I WISH I NEVER HAD YOU." Alison gets slammed against the wall.
Flashback over...
"Mummy, Daddy!" Ella yelled as she ran over to her parents. "What's wrong sweetie?" Alya asked her daughter. "It's Ali," Ella said. "What about Alison?" Marinette asked worried that something has happened to her Foster Daughter. "She's on the gwound cwying." Ella told Marinette, Adrien, and her parents. As soon as Marinette heard that her daughter was crying, she stood up followed by the other three, then they followed Ella to where Alison was. As they all neared the playground Marinette saw her daughter on the ground like Ella said she was, Marinette saw Alison on the ground crying with her hands covering her ears, like she was trying not to hear anything.
Marinette took off running towards her Daughter. When she reached Alison, she kneeled in front of her and asked, "What's wrong sweetheart?" But she got no reply. A few seconds later Adrien came up beside Marinette. "Alison," Adrien called but there still was no reply. Adrien reached out to her, But Alison had flinched away from his touched. Marinette and Adrien looked at each other with worry as they both did not know what was going on with their Daughter. Marinette gathered Alison in her lap for a cuddle as she tried to calm her down. "Wha's goin on Mummy," Ella asked her Mother as she was starting to get upset. "I don't know honey," Alya answered her Daughters' question when she had noticed that Ella was also upset. "Come here, Darling," Alya said. Ella went Alya who picked her up and placed her on her hip. Ella laid her head on Alya's shoulder. "Alison it's okay. Shh, shh. Calm down, Sweetheart." Marinette said to Alison who still would not calm down. "Come on Princess, you are Okay. Mummy and I are here. You are safe." Adrien said. Alison started to pull her hands away from her ears when she could hear a gentle voice call her name. "Come on Darling," Marinette said in a quiet voice.
"Mummy thewe is soweone by that twee ober thewe wotchin us," Ella said pointing to someone by the trees on the other side of the playground. Alya and Nino looked up to where their Daughter was pointing too. When Nino saw that they were being watched closely by someone he had wrapped his arm around Alya who had Ella in her arms and pulled them closer to him. "Alison please look at us, Darling," Marinette said as she was still cuddling her Daughter. "Someone is watching us," Nino said to Marinette and Adrien. "By whom?" Marinette asked. "We are not sure, but ever they are, they seem to be watching us very closely," Nino said. "Where is this person watching us from?" Adrien asked Nino. "They are watching us from the trees over there on the other side of the playground," Alya stated. Adrien looked to where Alya told them where the person was watching from. He saw the person stare at them before turning to walk down the street away from the park. Adrien helped Marinette up with Alison still in her arms crying. "We should get back to our bags," Nino said. The other three agreed and walked back towards their bags. By the time they all got back to their stuff, Alison had started to come around again. Adrien had stroked his Daughters head which she did not pull away this time.
When Alison finally decided to open her eyes and look up at Marinette. "Mummy!" She said as she burst back into tears. Marinette held her daughter tighter to try to calm her down again. "Shh, shh. It is all right Sweetie." Marinette said in a calming voice. Marinette moved Alison into a more comfortable position, so it was easier for Alison to wrap her arms around her neck. "Do you want to have a cuddle with Daddy?" Marinette asked her Daughter. Alison nodded her head as she continued to cry. Marinette had put Alison down so she could go to her Father. "Daddy!" Alison said through her crying. "Come here, Princess," Adrien said as he picked up his daughter to hug her. "I think shortly she is going to be a Daddy's girl?" Alya said trying to lighten the mad that went down for a bit. "Well give it to the end of the week and I would say the same thing about Ella, being a Daddy's girl too," Marinette said. "I think she will be both," Nino said to the Bluenette.
It was getting on to 3 pm when Adrien said, "We should get her home."
"Yea same with us. We will see you at school on Monday." Alya said as she stood up followed by Nino who took Ella from her arms. "Yea. We will see you on Monday." Marinette replied as she picked up their stuff. "Bye Aunt Mawi and Unca Adwien. Bye Ali." Ella said. "Bye Ella." Marinette and Adrien said to their new niece. Alison just hid her face in her Fathers shoulder. After they said their goodbyes Alya, Nino with Ella headed off towards Alya's house while Adrien, Marinette with Alison headed to Marinette's bakery. Five minutes later Adrien, Marinette and Alison had arrived back at the bakery during the 3 pm rush. Sabine and Tom were behind the counter serving customers when Marinette went up to her parents. "Hi, Mama, Hi Papa," Marinette said greeting her busy parents. "Hi Dear." Sabine greeted back. Adrien walked up behind Marinette with Alison still in his arms. "Do you need any help Mama?" Marinette asked her Mother. "We will be fine Dear; the rush is nearly over anyway. Just go on upstairs you three." Sabine answered her daughters' question. Marinette nodded then went upstairs followed by Adrien who was still carrying Alison.
When the three of them got upstairs Adrien put Alison down while Marinette went straight to the kitchen to get some drinks. Alison walked into the kitchen to where her mother was. "You alright Sweetheart?" Marinette asked her daughter when she came into the kitchen. "Can I habe ome ilk pwease?" Alison asked her Mother. "Sure, Sweetie. Why don't you go and get the movie that you had chosen earlier before we went to the park, while I get you some warm milk." Marinette said. Alison nodded then went to go and find the DVD. "Do you want a hot drink Adrien?" Marinette asked. "That would be nice thank you," Adrien replied. Marinette reached into the cupboard and pulled out two cups for her and Adrien as well as a Slippy cup for Alison. Alison came back in a couple of minutes later with the DVD in hand. She passed the DVD to her Mother. Marinette took the DVD from her daughter and asked her, "You want to watch this one?" Alison nodded and then followed her Mother to the lounge. Marinette put the DVD in and pressed play. Marinette helped Alison up onto the couch. "What movie are we watching?" Adrien asked his daughter as he walked into the lounge as sat down beside Alison on the couch while Marinette went back to the kitchen to get the drinks. "We awe wotching the meny adtures Of Innie the Pooh," Alison told her Father as she snuggled up against him. Adrien put his arm around her so she could lean against him. A minute later Marinette had come back with two hot drinks and a Sippy cup for Alison. She passed a one to Adrien and sat on the other side of Alison. Then the three of them sat and watched movies for the rest of the afternoon.
