YU-GI-OH ARC-V: Pendulum Of Kings

A person from our world is thrown into Arc-V under mysterious circumstances, but things are not as they seem. He has to deal with counterparts, a new deck to learn, and an axe-crazy Academia member with his face after the bracelet girls. He just wants to play card games...

1. Chapter 1

Hey, new writer here. This is my first story and will probably be bad. Sorry. I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh!, but I would love it if I did. Onto the story!

I woke up in the middle of the night with my Yu-Gi-Oh deck boxes glowing. As you may guess, this was not an ordinary Tuesday. They started glowing brighter and brighter until everything was white. I was floating in an endless white void.

"Are you ready to be tested?"

"What?"

"I know what you seek. If you can complete the test you shall obtain it."

"Um... okay, Mr. Disembodied Voice."

"Very well. We shall begin."

As the voice spoke, what looked like a duel disk from Yu-Gi-Oh appeared on my arm. A strange creature appeared in front of me. It looked like a black void, or a place where light should be bust wasn't. This... void also held a duel disk. Three of my decks floated in front of me.

"Choose your deck."

I grabbed my xyz deck.

"Lets duel!

VOID: LP 4000

THOMAS: LP 4000

"I shall go first! I activate Ancient Rules to summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon (ATK 3000) from my hand in attack position! I end my turn."

My hand was pretty bad. I only had 1 monster and a bunch of spells. If I drew a level 1 monster, I could OTK that thing, but chances were slim.

"I draw!"

Eva. Nice.

"I activate Celestial transformation to summon Eva (ATK 500) from my hand with her attack halved in attack mode! (500/2=250) Now I summon Kuribohrn (ATK 300) in attack mode! With these two, I build the overlay network! Xyz summon! Number 78: Number Archive! (ATK 0) I use Archive's effect! By detaching Eva. You pick one card in my extra deck, and if its a number, I get to summon it!"

"You only have one card, so I choose it."

"Thanks! Now I get to summon Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon!" The dragon appeared on my field with a massive roar, towering over Blue-Eyes. "Now I activate Oni-Gami Combo. By detaching all of my dragon's xyz materials, he can attack twice! Attack Blue-Eyes!"

"That pathetic excuse for a dragon can't beat my mighty beast!"

"Wrong! When my dragon battles, he can't be destroyed and you take all damage I would take! And with two attacks, that's 6000 damage!

"Impressive."

VOID: 6000-1000-0.

"I suppose you passed the test. Now... you will get your wish."

As my vision went white, I knew I got what I had wished for. Something new. I wondered what would happen next. Man, this was a great dream!
