As the six of them had arrived at the Bakery Marinette then put a movie on for the two girls to watch while she and the other 3 went into the kitchen to get a drink and something to eat. "I never want to see that look on Ella's face ever again." Ayla said to the other three. Nino had put his arm around Ayla. "I know what you mean. I've seen that look on Ali's face to many times now." Marinette said not looking at the others. Adrien wanted to put an arm around Marinette to comfort her but thought he better not because it would be too weird. The four of them sat around the kitchen table and talked while the two young girls watched a movie. An hour later Ella Alison had fallen asleep on the couch during one of their movies. Nino picked Ella up so he and Alya could take her home for the rest of the day. After Adrien and Marinette said their goodbyes to Alya and Nino. Adrien then picked up his daughter and took her to

Upstairs and placed her in bed. They both placed a kiss on her forehead and headed back downstairs. "Now that she has fallen asleep, she might not sleep tonight now," Marinette said as she cleaned up the cups and plates. "Then why don't we let her sleep for half an hour to an hour so she will sleep tonight." Suggested Adrien. "Yea. Probably a good idea. After today she would probably do not want you to leave at all." She said. "I know. I was going to ask you if I can stay tonight, just to put her mind at ease." Adrien asked. "Yea that is fine. Probably for the best anyway." She replied. "Right. So, I will head home now to get my stuff then I will be back after dinner." Adrien said. "Yea that is fine. I will see you later then." Adrien nodded then left to go home and get his things for the night.

After Adrien had left Tikki flew out of her holder's purse. "Are you okay Marinette?" Tikki asked. "I'm fine Tikki," Marinette replied as she sat down in a chair at the kitchen table. "Talk to me Marinette," Tikki said flying up to sit in front of her while she munches on a cookie. "Okay fine. It is just this whole thing with this project and Alison. I'm scared about this person who is following us every time we are with Ali." She said half explaining. "I mean I am happy that Alison has settled in fine and that she has come out of her shell to talk a bit more which means she is starting to trust us. But I worried about what might happen to her if she goes back to that Orphanage after this project is all over."
"What do you mean Marinette.?" Tikki asked. "I mean that I don't think I could give her back," Marinette said. "Would you adopt her after this is all over?" Tikki asked her. "I don't know Tikki. All I know is that I love that child as if she were my daughter and I don't think I could send her back to that Orphanage ever." Marinette explained. "That Marinette is called a Mother's instinct. But maybe you should talk to Adrien about and take it one day at a time." Tikki said. "Thanks, Tikki. You always know what to say."
"Your welcome Marinette. Now we still have half an hour till we need to wake up miss Ali, so why don't you go and design something." Tikki said. Marinette nodded and went to grab her designing book to carry on designing some clothes for Alison.

Half an hour later Marinette went upstairs to go and wake Alison up. "Ali-nelly time to wake up Sweetie." Marinette gently giving Alison a shake. After a couple more of gentle shakes from her mother, Alison slowly opened her eyed. "Hi, Mummy." She said. "Hi Baby girl. It is time to wake up otherwise you won't see tonight." Marinette said helping the girl out of her bed and carrying her down the stairs. "Daddy wone?" Alison asked her Mother. "He will be back after we have Dinner. He is going to be staying the night. Would you like that?" Marinette asked. Alison nodded her head as she cuddles into her Mother's arms. "Mummy watched mowie?"

"Of course, you can baby girl," Marinette said as she pressed play on the movie that was still on the TV and she then went over to the couch with Alison and sat down with Alison on her lap both watching movies for the rest of the afternoon till it was Dinner time.

When Adrien got home, he didn't even get to the stairs when he heard his Father's voice. "Where have you been Adrien," Gabriel said with a harsh voice. "Father I was at Marinette's house with her and Ali, since the rest of the school day got cancelled due to Ali's Kindy had to close because of the Akuma attack that happened this morning," Adrien told his Father. "I have told you, Adrien, that I may respect this school project of your and that this Dupain-Cheng girl and this child can stay here. So why aren't they here?" Asked his Father. "Father I told you that Marinette wasn't comfortable staying away from home. Plus, we agreed to try it her way first and if it doesn't work out then she said she would think about staying here." Adrien explained. Gabriel just stood there with his arms behind his back and staring at his son. "Now I have to go and pack a bag for the night because after dinner I will be heading back to Marinette's." He told his Father. "WHAT!" Yelled Gabriel.

"You are not going back out tonight Adrien and that's final," Gabriel said

"Father I have to Ali needs me. I am her Father." Adrien said raising his voice a wee bit. "You are not this girl's Father Adrien," Gabriel said a bit cold. "YES, I AM FATHER. I LOVE HER AS IF SHE WAS MY OWN DAUGHTER. I SIGNED A DOCUMENT ALONG WITH MARINETTE SAYING THAT WE ARE HER PARENTS." Adrien said as he was starting to yell at his Father. "Now I am going to go and pack a bag for the night because my daughter needs me," Adrien said trying to calm his voice down. Adrien then walked past his father and went up to his room in a huff. Plagg few out of his pocket after they got to his room. "Cheese please," Plagg said to his holder. "Not now Plagg," Adrien said pushing his Kwami to the side. "What is wrong with you kid?" Plagg asked Adrien as he walked over to his wardrobe. "Sorry, Plagg. I'm just mad at my Father, didn't mean to take it out on you buddy." He replied as he gave Plagg some cheese. "Adrien, why do you care so much about this girl that you and Marinette Fostering?" Plagg asked Adrien. "I don't know why but I just do," Adrien added. "Tikki would call it a Father's instinct." Plagg had said. "Tikki? Who is Tikki?" Adrien asked. "Umm… Ladybugs Kwami." Plagg said, "The yea maybe it could be the Father's instinct in me."
"Would you adopt the for real once the six months are up?" Plagg asked Adrien. "I'm not sure Plagg… Maybe… I don't know… Even if I did who would be her Mother." Stated Adrien "I don't know Umm maybe Marinette… Since Marinette is being her Mother for the six months that you both have her." Plagg added. Adrien carried on packing his bag as Plagg was talking to him. "Kid I think you need to talk to Marinette about this," Plagg added.

After Adrien had Dinner, he went up to his room to double-check that he had everything he needed for the night. He then went back downstairs and was about to walk out the door when… "Adrien." His father called. Adrien turned around to see his father standing at the top of the stairs with his arms behind his back. "Yes, Father," Adrien replied looking at his Father. "I would like you to invite the Dupain-Cheng family and the child that you claim to be your daughter over for dinner tomorrow night," Gabriel ordered. "Yes, Father," Adrien said as he turned back to the door. "Goodbye, Father." He said as he walked out the door to go back to Marinette's house for the night. Gabriel stood at the top of the stairs watching his son leave before he went back to his office to do some more work.
