"Weighing of the wands?" Usagi asked curiously as she was pulled into the room that was apparently used for this function by Setsuna with Michiru and Haruka following shortly behind. In the month or two that they've been at the school none of the Senshi ever let each other or their princess go anywhere alone. They didn't trust the others here, only each other.

"Do you two mind watching the children? I know Ami and Rei are still in the library while Minako and Makoto are in the kitchens and I don't feel comfortable with the children wandering around without at least one of us there." Usagi asked frowning slightly as she glanced up at the two of them who immediately kneeled before her. They knew that the two were more than capable of handling themselves against any of the idiots that might actually challenge them here, but Usagi was a bit protective of her 'babies'. Then again so were the others…just not to the same extent as Usagi could get.

"Of course princess." Haruka said bowing her head to her future queen who scowled a bit while Setsuna looked amused since she knew what was about to happen. It happened every single time.

"And I swear if you two don't stop bowing and kneeling to me I'm going to box both of you in the ear and ban you from my bed for a month!" Usagi said making the two look horrified as they shot to their feet and out of the door in an instant. They'd never want to be banished from their princess's bed since if they were banished from her bed then they were usually banished from Setsuna's as well and somehow ended up banished from each other's.

"You think they would have learned by now." Setsuna said chuckling as she pulled Usagi into her arms and hugged her princess close protectively.

"Indeed." Usagi agreed before looking back at the amused or disgusted looking people in the room and tilting her head curiously.

"Why do you need to know how much a stick weighs?" Usagi asked confused, making sure to speak in English as she glanced at the wizards confused. To be fair the other champions looked confused as well while Setsuna merely chuckled a bit as she pressed a kiss to Usagi's head.

"We need to check the condition of each of your wands to make sure they're in working order for the tournament to try and make sure the competition is more fair and is not skewed in favor of one champion over the other." Madam Maxine explained patiently amused and earning an 'oh' from Usagi. The French Headmistress honestly thought the girl was a delight to have around, she wasn't snotty or uppity as someone of her standing usually was and honestly she could be quite adorable while clueless.

Plus watching the other 'soldiers' scramble to obey and fuss and fret over her was hilarious. They catered to their princesses every whim and order.

"That makes a lot more sense." Usagi said earning nods of agreement from the other Champions while Setsuna merely chuckled a bit more and kissed Usagi's hair again. Leave it to her beautiful princess to ask the obvious question that everyone was thinking, whether they admit it or not, and in turn lighten up the mood a bit.

"Your wand Princess Pluto?" Olivander asked moving to the royal of the group first and making Setsuna raise an eyebrow as she held one hand up. Everyone but Usagi backed up a bit when a garnet colored orb appeared in Setsuna's hand without the woman looking anything but amused.

"Does it look like I need a focus?" Setsuna asked earning sheepish smiles from the head teachers who hadn't thought that she could do magic without a focus. Honestly they should have known better considering that she was technically the Queen of a magic heavy planet.

"Do you have any kind of focus that you may use to direct your abilities?" Olivander asked making Setsuna pause for a second before her blast dispersed and she held out her hand, this time with the palm down and almost as if she were closing her fingers around something that wasn't there. Immediately there was a small garnet flash and Setsuna's Garnet Rod appeared in her hand without a sound.

"I suppose my Garnet Rod would count as my focus." Setsuna said holding it out and making Olivander take it reverently.

"I've never seen of or heard of this metal before but it almost seems like the inside has sand in it?" Olivander asked more than said as he looked at the rod portion of the staff while slowly and carefully moving the staff.

"Sands of Time." Setsuna confirmed making Olivander nod slightly to show that he heard her. There wasn't much he could say about what the Sands of Time could do or the skill it took to craft such a weapon, after all he had never heard of nor worked with the material before.

"I'm unsure what this metal up here is for but this gem contains a great deal of power." Olivander continued as he reached towards the top of the staff where there was a red orb inside of a heart shaped 'decoration'.

"The Garnet Orb. I wouldn't touch it if I were you. That's a source of backup power and where I send any excess magic that may harm myself or my surroundings if it gets out of control. Only able to be wielded by the true Guardian of the Time Gates, although my queen is able to touch and tap into it if she should so wish." Setsuna explained earning a gulp from everyone but her queen at the amount of power must be in that stone for it to glow so brightly naturally. It released a small red pulse of light and they all backed up except for Olivander at the sheer overwhelming amount of power that emitted from the orb.

Dumbledore just looked greedy and pissed that he couldn't get ahold of that much magic. The Potters as well looked greedy at the thought of that much power.

"I am happy with my own magic and backup source. I would never think to try and tap into your power." Usagi said in Japanese to the Guardian of Time who kissed her hair and held her closer. Their bodies were almost completely pressed together and Setsuna would love to keep her princess in her arms where she is safest.

"My power is your power my queen. Say the word and your bidding shall be done." Setsuna said solemnly and earning a sigh from Usagi.

"I just want to keep everyone safe and happy… and that includes you." Usagi said earning a soft smile and another kiss to the head from Setsuna who loved bestowing all the gentle soft and loving kisses she could on her queen.

"I know my queen."
