Chapter 5: The Eternal Serpent
?'s POV
I never even saw the truck. I was walking across the street, and some drunk driver came out of nowhere. I felt pain… then nothing.
6 Months Later
"Yuto, are you sure this is a good idea?" We were standing on the roof of a warehouse at the docks.
"Lyla, I know what I saw! It was Ruri!"
"Are you sure? She had different hair…"
"Screw it. I'm going in." Yuto busted open the door to the warehouse, causing some kid to scream in pain and fall to the ground.
"That moron… fine! I'm coming!" I muttered as I walked in. I saw Yuto about to duel some kid, with a pink haired girl standing to the side.
"Hey you! Mister Mystery! If Shingo is dueling you, we will too!" Three kids stepped forwards.
I walked out of the shadows. "Actually… you'll be dueling me. Three on one seems fair."
"Who are you?"
"The person who's going to kick your collective asses!"
"Fine! You're on!"
"Duel!"
Goon 1: 4000
Goon 2: 4000
Goon 3: 4000
Lyla: 4000
"I'll go first! I set four cards and pass!"
"That's your opening move? Pathetic. My turn! I summon Photon Thrasher (LV 4. ATK 2100). I can summon him when I have no monsters! Now I summon Photon Crusher (LV 4. ATK 2000)! Now I build the overlay network! Xyz summon! Starliege Photon Blast Dragon (RANK 4. DEF 2500)! I end my turn."
I sighed. "Before you end your turn, I activate my trap! Generaider Boss Fight! I can activate a field spell from my deck, then you draw a card. I activate Generaider Boss Stage! Now, since you drew, my Stage's effect activates! I can special summon a Generaider from my deck in defense mode! I summon Frodi, Generaider Boss Of Swords (LV 9. DEF 2000)!"
A massive humanoid in gold armor appeared on the field. He sung his massive golden sword and grunted
"Now, since I used this effect during your turn, I get 4 Generaider tokens!"
Four balls of light appeared.
"And with Frodi's effect, by tributing one, I can destroy your dragon!"
"Are you done? I'm ending my turn."
"My turn! I draw!" The second goon announced.
"Since you drew, stage's effect activates! I summon Naglfar, Generaider Boss Of Fire (LV 9. DEF 200)!"
A massive, flaming, pig like creature appeared.
"And now I get three tokens!"
"Fine then! Since you control a monster and I don't, I can summon Vice Dragon from my hand with it's ATK and DEF halved! (LV 5. ATK 2000/2=1000) Now I summon Chaos End Master (LV 3. ATK 1500. Tuner). I tune it with Vice Dragon to synchro summon! Appear! Chaos Ruler, The Chaotic Demonic Dragon (LV 8. ATK 3000)!"
"I activate Frodi's effect! By tributing a token, he destroys your dragon!" The dragon exploded in a shower of sparks.
"You fell for it! By banishing the Dark attribute Vice Dragon and the Light attribute Chaos-End Master, I can summon Chaos Ruler back! Now, attack Frodi!"
"Naglfar's effect activates! By tributing a token, Frodi isn't destroyed!"
"Ugh! I set a card and end my turn!"
"My turn!" Said goon 3.
"Since you drew, I summon Nidhogg, Generaider Boss Of Ice (LV 9. DEF 2600) and get two tokens!"
Nidhogg was a humongous, ice coated, snake like creature with four wings.
"Oh well. I activate Polymerization to fuse Summoned Skull and Red-Eyes B. Dragon in my hand to fusion summon B. Skull Dragon (LV 9. ATK 3200)!"
"With Nidhogg's effect, by tributing a token, I can negate the special summon and destroy the monster."
"Oh for the love of- I end my turn."
"My turn! I draw! I activate World Legacy Monstrosity! With this card I can summon Harr, Generaider Boss Of Storms (LV 9. ATK 3000) and Utgarda, Generaider Boss Of Delusion (LV 9. ATK 2200) from my deck!"
Harr was a titanic figure with a staff in a black cloak, and Utgarda was a walking city made of gold.
"I change Frodi, Naglfar, and Nidhogg to attack position!"
Frodi (ATK 2500) Naglfar (ATK 3100) Nidhogg (ATK 2100).
"Battle! Nidhogg and Utgarda Attack you directly!"
Goon 1: 4000-2100-2200=0
"Now, Harr and Frodi attack you directly!"
Goon 3: 4000-2500-3000=0
The two goons fell down, and seemed surprised that the attacks actually hurt them.
"Naglfar, attack Chaos Ruler!"
Goon 2: 4000-100=3900
"You didn't beat me! And I have the cards to win next turn!"
There won't BE a next turn! I activate my trap! Wonder Xyz! Now I can perform an Xyz summon anytime! With my five level nine monsters, I build the overlay network! Eternal serpent, lurking in the shadows! Rise and crush this fool in your mighty coils! Xyz summon! Jormungandr, Generaider Boss Of Eternity (RANK 9. ATK 0)!" A portal opened, and my monsters flew into it. A massive black serpent rose out of the portal. It's head reached the roof of the warehouse, and it was surrounded by crackling lightning. It hissed, showing the spines in its back.
"That monster is useless! It has no attack!"
"Jormungandr gains 1000 attack for every overlay unit it has! Now attack!"
"Aaaaaaagggghhhh!" The goon screamed as he was blasted into the wall. The duel ended and Jormungandr disappeared.
Goon 2: 3900-5000=0
I saw Yuto finish up his duel with the other kid. The pink haired girl's bracelet started glowing, and I found myself standing on a completely different building with Yuto.
"Yuto… what the hell just happened?!"
Yuzu's POV
As Yuya, Thomas, and the kids ran up to her, Yuzu was confused.
'Who were those people?' She thought. 'And why did they have Yuya and Thomas's faces?!'
Dun dun dunn! Mysteryerious thingamajigs are occurrings! Sorry for not updating, but I do actually have a life. I wanted to do a non Thomas focused chapter, so I thought doing it from my new OC's perspective would be cool.
Now… the reviews. In response to Mass0234's review, I am adding more chapters. As evidenced by this being a chapter.
