Once the car had dropped Marinette and Adrien off at school, the pair had started to walk towards the school building when they heard someone shout Marinette's name. They turned around to find Alya and Nino walking towards them. "Hi, Alya," Marinette said hugging her best friend. "Hey, Dude," Nino said doing a fist bump with Adrien. "Hey, Nino."
"I never thought I would see you here this early Mari. And what happened yesterday? You never texted me and told me. I was so worried girl." Alya asked Marinette. "First thing first is that I am not going to be living at home for the moment," Marinette stated. "Why what has happened?" Alya asked again. "When Ali was with Sabine and Tom yesterday, she was grabbed by some woman and this woman abused her by hitting her around the face," Adrien explained to Alya and Nino. "We also think that it is probably most likely be the same woman that has been following us and watching us," Marinette added. Alya and Nino had a horrified expression on their face. "Oh My God. Is Ali alright? Did you call the Police?" Alya asked worried for her friends' daughter. "Yes, Ali is fine. She has a bruised on her right cheek and was a bit shaken up last night but this morning she seemed to be fine." Marinette said. "Marinette and Ali are now staying with me till is all sorted," Adrien said. "Fair enough. Since you have security and bodyguards it is probably much safer for the two of you." Nino said with Alya nodding to agree with him. "Adriekins." They heard a yell come from behind them. They turned to see Chloe walking towards them. "Adriekins you're looking dashing as always," Chloe said as she throws herself at Adrien. "Hi, Chloe," Adrien said grabbing Chloe's arms and pushed her away from him. Chloe stepped back and turned to face Marinette. "So, tell me Marinette is your Foster daughter as clumsy as you are?" Chloe asked Marinette. "Go away, Chloe," Marinette replied with annoyance in her voice. But Chloe did not stop there. "Let me guess Adriekins has decided to leave you as a partner for this project so now you are a single parent," Chloe said with a hint of evil in her voice. "Chloe that is enough," Adrien told Chloe. "What it is not my fault that she cannot handle the truth." Chloe carries on. "SHUT UP CHLOE. ADRIEN AND I LOVE OUR LITTLE GIRL AND WE HAVE HAD A STRESSFUL TIME TRYING TO CALM OUR DAUGHTER DOWN WITH WHAT HAS BEEN GOING ON. AND WE ARE WORRIED ABOUT HER." Marinette said losing her cool with Chloe. Marinette then turned and stormed into the school building. "You should be ashamed of yourself," Alya said angrily to Chloe. "Why should I be. I didn't do anything wrong." Chloe stated back trying to act all innocent. "CHLOE THAT IS ENOUGH!" Adrien said getting mad at his oldest best friend.
"Why are you mad at me for Adriekins?" Chloe asked him. "THERE WAS NO NEED TO SAY WHAT YOU DID TO MARINETTE. SHE IS A DAMN GOOD MOTHER TO THAT LITTLE GIRL." Alya said getting angrier at Chloe. Nino had walked up behind Alya and went to stroke her arm trying to calm her down, but Alya just pushed him away then walked off to find her best friend. Nino soon followed his girlfriend a few seconds later. Chloe stood there facing Adrien with a smirk on her face. "I would not be smirking if I were you, Chloe." He said to Chloe. "Why? It is not my fault that she couldn't take a joke" Chloe answered back. "That is not the point Chloe. What you said to Marinette and about our daughter was hurtful. We have had trouble with someone following us and someone abusing our daughter while trying to get to her. We don't need this. You bought this on yourself, Chloe." Adrien said then walked away from her to go and find Marinette and the other two. When he couldn't find the girls or Nino he decided to head to class and wait for them there. A few minutes later Nino walked into class alone. "Where are the girls? Did you find Mari?" Adrien asked as Nino sat down beside him. "Alya found her in the girl's bathroom where she locked herself in and won't come out. Alya is still trying to reason with her." Nino explained. "Maybe I should go and try to talk to her," Adrien said as he was starting to stand up from his seat. Nino placed his hand on his shoulder. "Dude I think you should leave Alya with Marinette. When Marinette gets like this it is better to let Alya handle it." Nino said. Adrien nodded knowing that his best friend was right. 5 minutes later Alya walked into the class followed by Marinette who wouldn't even look at him. The two girls sat down in their seats behind the boys, Adrien was about to turn about to ask Marinette if she were all right but before he could the teacher walked in and started the class.
Alison had just walked outside after having finished her lunch looking for Ella when she heard, "Ali come and pway witf us." Ella calls out to Alison her new best friend. Alison runs over to Ella who was playing in the sandpit. "Ella pass me chovel pwease?" Alison asked Ella and pointed to where the shovel was lying. Ella passed Alison the shovel and the two of them played in the sandpit for the rest of the afternoon.
