At the temple, Kai, Nya and Blake had managed to get the Destiny's Bounty's thrusters working again. Inside the main deck, where many components were damaged during the fight and the viewing window had been shattered, they inspect the damaged wiring. "Pretty lucky, Lloyd agreeing to let you split from the group." Kai said to Blake as he was underneath the console, checking some burnt wires. "Almost like you had something in mind."

"I still wanna find out who's got my Samurai X suit." Blake replied. "Though, I don't know why you and Nya chose to stay as well."

"I want to find out as well." Nya said. "Before becoming a Ninja, I had every intention of being the new Samurai X."

"You guys are fixated." Kai said.

"Says the guy still carrying around the snake helmet." Nya grabs the snake helmet as Kai soon looked at her. "What is it, Kai? Something's been bothering you. Is everything okay?"

Kai sighs before turning to Blake. "Blake, could we have a moment alone, please?"

"Uh, sure thing." Blake said, coming out from underneath the console and heads out. "I was gonna go check on the backup generators, anyway."

Kai soon turned back to Nya. "When I was fighting Dr. Saunders- Krux. He told me something." He takes the helmet from Nya. "Something you need to know." He turns it upside down to show her the symbol. "This stamp. Do you know who it belongs to?"

"No." She said.

"Our father."

In Ninjago City as it had just gotten dark, Jay's bike, Cole's rover, R.E.X. and the Destiny's Shadow move along the streets as the Shadow soon did a barrel roll. "Whoa!" Lloyd yelled, trying to control his early birthday gift. "Ugh! Damn it! I have no idea what any of these buttons do. And it doesn't come with a user's manual."

"On it." Zane replied. "P.I.X.A.L., please do a vehicular spec analysis. Oh, shit, I forgot, she's still offline. I'll do it myself." He grabs a nearby plug and inserted it into his head. "The Destiny's Shadow has four offensive weapons, seven defensive systems, five transformative reconfigurations, and one mini fridge." He soon opened the mini fridge, which was near his left leg, and gets out a soda can. "Beverage?"

"Uh, maybe later."

"Zane, mind tossing me one?" Geoff asked through his communicator.

"Sure thing." Zane replied, throwing the soda can at R.E.X. as Maggie held her hand out to use her magnetic powers and catches it before handing it to Geoff, who activates the autopilot, opens the can and has a sip.

"Ah, raspberry, the king of soda flavours." Maggie soon sat down as Gewuji looked out from the open door. "So, have you heard about Ronin?"

"Dad said he just has a dislocated leg and he'll be on crutches for a while, but other than that, he's okay." She said.

"Good." He takes a sip. "I may not like saying this after what he did, but I still consider him a friend." He finishes the drink before the vehicles soon arrive at the museum.

In the Destiny's Bounty, Kai is still showing Nya the symbol. "A blacksmith puts his stamp on everything he makes." He said. "For example, when James made Leo, he put his stamp of a lion on the handle." He gets out the sword and shows the lion symbol to Nya before sheathing it and throws the helmet to her while heading over to a nearby console to try and tap a few inactive buttons. "And our father's mark is on every Vermillion Warrior helmet we found."

"So...?" She asked.

"So... it means that our father must have once worked for the Hands of Time."

"Kai, that doesn't make any sense."

"Sure it does. Krux told me our parents were traitors. What better way to betray the Elemental Masters than to forge armour for their enemies?"

"And you believe Krux?"

He slammed the console in anger. "What about the painting at the museum? Where the Elemental Masters were fighting the Hands of Time?"

"Yeah?"

Kai slams the console again. "Mom and Dad were the only ones not in it."

"Bullshit! I refuse to believe our parents were villains without real proof."

"I DON'T ****ING CARE!" He slammed the console once again, very hard and everything immediately starts up.

"Ha! What do you know? I thought that only worked in cartoons." They head over to the monitor as Kai tapped a few keys on the console.

"Hey, did someone jumpstart the generators?" Blake asked as he came up to them.

"Kai did. Do it again."

Kai prepared to raise his fist. "No, don't-" Kai slammed the console again, but everything soon went down again and some circuit boards nearby spark and emit smoke.

"I can still work with that." The boards suddenly burst into flames.

Kai coughed a bit from the smoke the fire was giving off. "Face it, the scanners are toast." He said.

"What do we do now?"

Kai immediately sighed. "Join up with the others at the museum, I guess."

Several minutes later, Kai and Nya start up their bikes as Blake had just started up his S/N Tank. "Ready?"

"Yes." Nya and Blake said at the same time.

"But, I'm gonna make a quick detour along the way." Blake said. "I am still obsessed with finding out who my 'successor' is."

"Need some company?" Nya asked.

"Sure thing. Kai, cover for us with the others."

"All right." Kai said. "We'll split up. Because I need to take a side trip of my own." Kai turns right while Nya and Blake turn left.

At the museum, Lloyd, Jay, Zane, Cole, Geoff, Gewuji and Maggie search around the main hallway as Cole and Maggie look behind some display cases, Jay and Gewuji look around some vases and Lloyd, Zane and Geoff look along the statues. "Hopefully there is something here." Cole said.

"I hope so too." Maggie replied

Lloyd soon looks underneath a statue. "Nothing." He said as Zane came up to one nearby and looks underneath it.

"Negative." He said as Geoff came over to another one by the doors and looks underneath it.

"Nada." He said.

"This is a waste of time." Jay said, nudging a nearby vase before moving away as Zane quickly ran over to it and caught it before it could hit the ground.

"There's nothing here but old junk." Gewuji said, throwing artefacts in the air, which Zane quickly caught.

"Guys!" Maggie yelled. "You wanna take it easy?"

"We know that's Krux's stuff, but some of it is priceless." Lloyd said.

"Bill me." Jay sarcastically replied as he came over to a big blue vase. "That asshole went after my parents."

"He also got my mother struck." Gewuji said as she looked on and nodded.

"If he was here we'd be breaking more than his pottery." Jay soon picked the vase up as Zane and Geoff quickly prepare themselves to catch it.

"Whoa." Zane worriedly said before Jay immediately threw it. Geoff quickly jumped in the air and grabbed hold as Zane fell back to grab the other end.

As Geoff placed the vase back to its original place, Zane immediately got up, sighing. "Looks like you're fully functional again." Lloyd said.

"Except for my inability to interface with P.I.X.A.L., yes. It is highly frustrating."

"How about you, Cole? Earth Punch under control?"

"Oh, yeah." Cole said, fists on his hips, like a super hero. "I am totally dialled in." His arms soon glowed orange and does some fighting moves before punching a nearby wall, creating a hole in it and his arm return to normal. "Uh, okay, mostly dialled in."
