In the secret room in the blacksmith shop in Ignacia Village, Kai picks up the old helmet and looks at it and the snake helmet to compare them. "Old, new." He said as he looked at them. "How did I not put it together?" He soon sighed. "There's only one person who could possibly understand what I'm going through." He soon went to the haladie and takes it.

In Blake's Samurai X Cave, Samurai X dodges a punch from Nya and a kick from Blake before picking up the chair and forces Nya on it, making her head to the edge, causing her to stand on one hand while elbowing Blake, knocking the wind out of him as he slid back into a rock pillar before Samurai X came up to Nya and straightens her while Blake gets up. "Not bad." He said as he slowly moved over to 'him'. "You've clearly mastered several different fighting styles."

"High praise coming from the former Samurai X." Samurai X replied in Dragon's voice.

"You're right. I'm not Samurai X anymore. I'm the Master of Wind!" He quickly slides underneath Samurai X's legs, turns to face 'him' and holds his hands out, firing a gust of Wind at him, knocking him back as Nya straightened herself. "It's over! Reveal your identity."

"I can't!" Samurai X says it as if it was 'his' normal voice.

"You must!"

"Never!" 'He' yelled it in Nya's voice. "I hide my identity to protect the innocent." 'He' soon said it in Blake's voice. "My friends and allies would be at risk if my enemies knew who I really was. You were me once. You know this."

Blake thinks for a bit. "Yes. Yes, I do." He soon stood up as Samurai X backed away.

In the labyrinth, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Geoff, Gewuji and Maggie keep moving along the path. "Maybe Blake, Nya and Kai got the scanners back online." Jay said.

"Na, we'd have heard from them by now." Lloyd replied.

Dripping was heard nearby as a slime drop soon landed on Gewuji's head, causing her to squeal. This gets the others to look at her. "I just washed my hair!" She said as Geoff soon looked at it.

Another slime drop soon lands on Cole's left shoulder pad, shocking him. "Aw, I just had my suit cleaned." He said. They all look up to see a spider, causing them to scream and run off, turning left.

"You wouldn't happen to have a reconfigurable amphibious vehicle with you, would you?" Jay asked as Geoff got out a handkerchief and started wiping the slime out of Gewuji's hair while Zane looked at Cole's ruined shoulder pad.

"No." Lloyd replied.

"Actually, we might." Zane said. "Let me access those specs again." He soon looked straight. "Reconfiguration 3 of the Destiny's Shadow is the Experimental Amphibious Multi-Terrain Assault Vehicle." Jay comes up in front of him. "XAMTAV."

Jay scoffed. "What a catchy name." He said.

"XAMTAV, eh?" Gewuji asked as Geoff finished wiping the slime out of her hair. "Sounds like a laxative."

"No wonder Kai was so jealous." Geoff replied as he puts his soiled handkerchief away. Rumbling was soon heard, causing them to yelp before turning to the path they took to see the Destiny's Shadow suddenly show up, surprising them.

"I took the liberty of using the museum Wi-Fi to interface with the Destiny's Shadow and bring it here."

"Beats walking." Maggie said.

In Blake's Samurai X Cave, Blake looks at his 'successor' as Nya looked on. "Whoever you are, you have proven that you are worthy to become the new Samurai X." He said.

"Thank you." Samurai X replied, still in Blake's voice.

"But stop using my voice. It's creeping me out. Okay?"

"Okay." Samurai X says it in 'his' normal voice as Blake heads over to the console while Nya came up next to him.

"I guess all of this is yours now."

"Thanks."

"Oh, the Vermillion Warriors didn't wreck everything." Blake taps a few keys before pressing a nearby button. A nearby hatch opens up, and platform rises up to reveal a rover on it.

"Aw. Nice."

Nya's phone soon buzzed and she gets it out. "Guess the phones are back up." She said before putting it back in her pocket. "We gotta go, it's my brother. He needs to meet me right away." Nya heads over to her bike and gets on.

"One more thing." Blake said as he went over to the S/N Tank. "Red and pink's my thing."

"I agree. You gotta find a new colour. Skylor."

"Hmm." Samurai X said in Skylor's voice. "A girl's gotta have her secrets. Right?"

"Knew it." Nya turns her bike around and takes off as Blake watches her go before turning back to Samurai X.

"I know you're not Skylor." He said. "I think you knew where it was, didn't you?"

"Found it the moment you rebooted Zane." Samurai X replied, in P.I.X.A.L.'s voice.

"You're a good friend, P." He gets in the tank, turns it around and takes off.

"Hmm. New colour?" Samurai X soon went to the console.

In the labyrinth, the Destiny's Shadow moves along as everyone was cramped due to the small size, except for Lloyd, who was piloting it. "Does anyone have any idea where we are going?" Jay asked.

"Not really." Lloyd replied.

"I am trying to track our progress, but these tunnels are confusing." Zane said.

"What is it with villains and their total lack of signage?" Maggie asked.

"Zane, any chance the Destiny's Shadow has a temporal scanner?" Lloyd asked.

"Unfortunately not." Zane replied. "But it does have a collision avoidance system that indicates multiple targets ahead." Zane points to a monitor showing two beacons.

"It's an ambush!" Geoff yelled as the Destiny's Shadow kept moving along.

"Finally, some payback." Jay said.

Lloyd slows down the vehicle before slowly turning before Jay, Cole, Gewuji and Maggie jump off and charge at someone. "Lights." Lloyd said, looking for the light switch as the others were wrestling with the individuals and Zane and Geoff look on. "Lights. Lights!" Lloyd soon pressed a button, turning the lights on. It turned out they were wrestling two familiar faces. "Wait!"

"Jay, Maggie, Cole, Gewuji, let them go!" Geoff yelled as he got out and grabbed Maggie. "That's Skales!"

"And my son, Skales Jr." Skales said as the others back away.

Gewuji scoffed. "Imaginative name." She replied. "Take you long to come up with that?"

"Out of my way, blue girl." Skales Jr. yelled, pushing Gewuji down, in insult.

"What are you two doing down here?" Lloyd asked.

"Don't you know, Lloyd?" Jay asked. "They're sewage experts."

"No, he meant what are they doing here now?" Geoff asked as Lloyd got out of his vehicle and helped Gewuji up.

"Tracking the Vermillion Warriors along with these Constrictai." Skales replied, pointing to Skalidor and two Constrictai as they came up to them.

"Why?" Jay asked. "You looking to join them?"

"No." Skales Jr. replied. "To avoid them." He starts to push Jay.

"Son, no." Skales said, dragging his son back. "They don't understand."

"We don't understand what?" Lloyd asked.

"You don't know what you're dealing with, do you? The Vermillion Warriors are the pure, first generation progeny of the Great Devourer."

"I have never heard of them." Zane said.

"Because we do not speak of them. They have the same singular drive as the Great Devourer. To consume everything in their path."

"We fought them." Gewuji said. "They aren't so tough."

"In small numbers, no. But if Krux and Acronix are able to raise and equip enough of them, they will be an unstoppable horde. A swarm of Vermillion that no one can stop."

"We did see breeding tanks in Krux's lab." Geoff said.

"That's sufficient to start the growth process for a few warriors, but creating a large army requires a very specific environment. A swamp. They are using a swamp."

"Can you tell us where it is?" Lloyd asked.

"I can."

"Can you take us there?"

"I cannot. I have a family to protect. But I can give you a map." Skales gets out a rolled up sheet of paper and hands it to Zane, who looks at it. It was perfectly drawn. "The Constrictai are reconnaissance experts. I must warn you, there's more going on there than just raising eggs." Skales Jr. comes up next to his father as the other Ninja came up behind Lloyd. "They're readying them for war. And they have your master with them."

"We know. Thank you, Skales." They start heading back for the Destiny's Shadow as Gewuji turned to Skales Jr.

"Uh... Sorry if I jumped to conclusions, Junior." She said, lightly chuckling.

"Don't call me 'Junior'." Skales Jr. replied.

Jay snickers. "I kind of like that kid." He said.

"Don't call me 'kid' either."

Jay laughs. "Now I know I like him."

Lloyd starts the Destiny's Shadow before Geoff turned to Skales. "Tell Selma I said 'Hello'." He said before it takes off.

"Good luck, Ninja!" Skales replied, waving to them before nervously laughing. "They're going to need it."

"Sure." Skales Jr. "Just as long as they keep out of my way."

Further ahead, Blake moves along the path before hearing an engine and sees the Destiny's Shadow stopping near him. "Hey, guys." He said.

"Blake." Jay replied before looking behind him, expecting the Asher siblings with him. "Where's Nya and Kai?"

"Nya and I went back to my Samurai X cave. The new samurai is not a Vermillion Warrior, so whoever he is, he passed the test of being the new Samurai X." He soon got in. "Nya soon took off to wherever Kai went to when he messaged her. I don't know where."
