Once Marinette and Adrien arrived at the Orphanage they had walked up to the door and knocked on it. They waited a couple of minutes before Nana Sue answered. "Hello, how can I help you?" Nana Sue asked the pair. "Hello Nana Sue, my name is Adrien Agreste, and this is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, we are Fostering a child of our School Project," Adrien explained. "Ah yes, I remember you both. You were the pair that is Fostering Alison Harris." Nana Sue said. "Yes, we did. We were wondering if you could tell us anything about her past?" Adrien asked. "Pleases come in," Nana said as she stepped aside to let the pair in, then lead in through the hall till they got to the kitchen. Nana Sue gestured for them to take a seat at the table which they did. "Now, by my guess that something has happened if you are coming to me and asking about her past. Can you please tell me what has happened?" Nana Sue asked the two. "Someone has been following us. We noticed that someone was watching us at the park last Saturday after something happened to Alison that caused her to curl up on the ground and cry." Marinette started to explain. "I am guessing this wasn't the only time you saw this person?"
"No, it wasn't. On Sunday when Marinette was bringing Alison to my Photoshoot so, we could have lunch together when Marinette noticed that they were being followed. Then that night someone threw a rock at Marinette's parent's Bakery window." Adrien explained. "On Monday night she woke up from a bad dream which scared her so much. Then on Tuesday, she was with my parents for the day and they were coming home from the playground when Alison was grabbed by the woman and was also abused. My parents explained what the woman looked like and we are sure it is the same woman who has been watching and following us. Then she also woke up last night probably by the same dream she had a couple of nights ago." Marinette said. Marinette and Adrien watched as Nana Sue gathered the information that they just mentioned. "Did she say anything about what the dreams were about?" Nana Sue asked. "She would say that 'she is coming. Don't her take me.'" Marinette added.

Adrien and Marinette sat and watched as the expression on Nana Sue's face goes from smiling to horrified. "That means she has found her." Nana Sue said. "Who has found Alison Nana Sue?" Adrien asked with worry. "It means that Alison's birth mother had found her."
"WHAT!" Adrien and Marinette said together. "Think I should explain." Nana Sue said. "When Alison first arrived here as I told you two before she was in a terrible state. What I didn't tell you is what Child Services told me. When they had bought her to me when she was two years old, they said that the Birth Mother Lisa had been abusing her. apparently Lisa would hit her multiple time, she would lock Alison up in her room for weeks sometimes even months with only giving her water to survive on. They also told me that Alison was thrown across the room by Lisa who would yell and swear at her. When Alison arrived here 6 months ago, she was extremely sick." Nana Sue explained. Marinette couldn't believe what she was hearing, she placed her elbows on the table and bought her hands up to cover her mouth. Adrien noticed Marinette's reaction to the story that they were just told. So, he placed his hand on her back and he began to stroke her back to comfort her. "What happened then?" Adrien asked but not sure if he wanted to hear the rest of the story. "It was just a month ago when Lisa came around looking for her. I was warned by Child Services that she could come around looking for her daughter and I was told not to tell her where she was. One day it was late at night when Alison woke up screaming, I had just calmed her down when there was a knock in the door. I told Alison to stay where she was, and I went to see who was at the door.

When I opened the door a woman was standing on the doorstep and if a young child named Alison Harris was dropped off here. I lied to her saying that there was no one here with that name." Nana Sue took a breath before carrying on. "Somehow, she found out I was lying, and she came back. Lisa had broken her way in here and took Alison. I rang the Police who had found them and bought Alison back. But when Alison came back to me here, she was covered in bruises all over her body and had cuts on her arms and back."
"So, that is where she got those scars from that I saw on her," Marinette said as from behind her hands. "We are still waiting for Lisa's trail to happen. But I still haven't heard anything about it yet." Nana Sue said. "I am surprised that they haven't kept her in a cell until her trail," Adrien said with Marinette and Nana Sue agreeing with him. "If she has found Alison then you guys will have to protect Alison at whatever cost. Lisa can never get her hands-on Alison again. If she does, I don't know what she will do to her." Nana Sue told Adrien and Marinette. "We will protect Nana Sue," Adrien said. "We will talk with my Father about more protection details around the house and when we go out," Adrien added as he looked to Marinette who was sitting beside him. "Thank you, Nana Sue, for telling us everything," Marinette said. "You are welcome. Stay safe and take care of each other." Adrien and Marinette stood from their seats as they said their goodbyes to Nana Sue and walked out the door of the Orphanage.

Once they were standing by their open car door Marinette turned to look at Adrien. "Adrien..."
"I know Mari, I know," Adrien said pulling her in for a hug. "Adrien I think we should get your Father to bring Ali to the Bakery and I will text Alya so she can bring Nino and Ella around and I think we need to let them know what is going on," Marinette suggested. Adrien agreed with her and pulled his phone out as he hopped into the car and called his Father letting him know where to meet them while Marinette pulled her phone out and started to text Alya.

Ma: Can you and Nino leave school now and once you have picked Ella up, can you come to the Bakery?

Al: Yea, of course, we can. But why? What is going on Mari?

Ma: I will tell you once we are all at the Bakery.

Al: Okay. We are on our way to yours.

After that Adrien and Marinette sat in silence till they go to the Dupain-Cheng Bakery.
