"Alison, please sit still so I can do your hair," Marinette told Alison as she was trying to do her daughters hair. "Sowwy Mummy.' Alison replied and let her Mother do her hair then she still had to get herself ready. A couple of minutes later Marinette had finished with her daughter's hair and it was time for her to get herself ready. "Now it is my turn to get ready." She said to herself out loud. Back in Adrien's room, Adrien was just finishing up getting himself ready when he said to his Kwami, "Maybe I should go and see if Marinette needs help with getting Ali ready." Plagg who was sitting on Adrien's bed eating his stinky cheese had stopped eating to look up at his holder and said, "She will be fine getting the girl ready on her own. Plus, if you go into Marinette's room she will just kick you out."
"I guess your right Plagg," Adrien said. Adrien then carried what he was doing as they were leaving in an hour.
50 minutes later Marinette and Alison were walking down towards Adrien's room to meet up with him before the went downstairs. Adrien came out of his room when he heard. "Daddy, Daddy look at my dwess." Alison said as she stopped in front of her Father and did a twirl. Marinette had stayed back to give them some room. "You are looking very pretty tonight my Purincess." Adrien said kneeling to plant a kiss on his daughter's head. When Adrien stood back up that was when he saw Marinette and his mouth dropped. "Wow, Marinette… You are looking perfect tonight might I say." Adrien said as he could feel the heat creeping upon his cheeks. Marinette just rolled her eyes at the pun the Adrien had just said. "You don't look to back yourself," Marinette said with a giggle. Adrien took her hand and kissed her knuckles, then he pulled her closer to him. "Adrien the Limo is here now." They heard Natalie call out from the bottom of the stairs. "Thanks, Natalie. We are on our way done." Adrien calls back. Adrien then offers his arm to Marinette, "Shall we?" He asked. "We shall," Marinette replied talking his arm. Adrien then offered his daughter his hand which Alison took and the three of them then walked down the stairs to the Limo where Gorilla and Gabriel were waiting for them.
Gabriel was the first one out of the Limo once the Limo had stopped outside the Hotel, Adrien had helped Alison out of her booster seat and told her to stand with her Grandfather then he offered his hand to Marinette as she was getting out of the Limo. Marinette could not believe the number of people that were already here, she placed her hand on Adrien's arm and took Alison's hand as Adrien led them into the Hotel followed by Gabriel. Adrien and Gabriel had introduced Marinette and Alison to a few people and as they passed Chloe who gave Marinette an awful look which Adrien had noticed. "Don't pay attention to her, that is what she wants," Adrien told Marinette who nodded. When they had finally reached their table Marinette helped Alison on to her seat then went to go and sit down herself when she noticed that Adrien had pulled her seat out for her and he pushed the chair in as she sat down. Adrien then took his seat beside his daughter as his father took the seat next to him. During dinner, they were talking and had a few laughs. Adrien could not believe that his Father was smiling and having fun for once, he was surprised as he has never seen this side of his Father before. Adrien turned his head to look around the Hotel for a minute and saw that Chloe was walking towards them. "Hi Adrien, you look dashing tonight," Chloe said once she got to their table and ignored Marinette which Marinette did not mind one bit. "Thanks, Chloe, you look nice as well," Adrien replied awkwardly. "Good Evening Chloe, how are you?" Gabriel greeted Chloe. "Good Evening Mr Agreste, I am good thank you," Chloe replied. Next minute someone came up beside Chloe and a child in their arms. "Hi, Nathanael." Adrien greeted his friend. "Hi Adrien, Marinette," Nathanael said. Alison had turned around in her seat to see who her parents were talking too. "Ali!" the boy in Nathanael's arms said. "Seth" Replied Alison. "I wasn't aware your daughter knew my Son," Chloe stated. Marinette turned around to face Chloe and said, "Of course, they know each other Chloe. They are from the same Orphanage and they do go to the same Kindy." Adrien noticed the change in Marinette's voice, and he leaned over his daughter's chair and placed his hand on her shoulder. Gabriel noticed this exchange between the two and raised his eyebrow at it but did not say anything about it. "Marinette, I did not see you there," Chloe said. "Yeah right," Marinette said under her breath. "Mummy can Seth and I go and dawce?" Alison asked her Mother. Marinette down at her daughter and said, "Yes you can. But you will have to ask Nathanael and Chloe if Seth is allowed too."
"Can Seth come and dawce with me?" Alison asked Nathanael and Chloe. Before Chloe could answer, Nathanael had already placed Seth on the ground and said yes. Alison and Seth ran to the dance floor and started to dance to the music. Chloe didn't say anything as she turned to leave Adrien's table. "Nice talking to you. See you at school tomorrow." Nathanael said before he followed Chloe. Once Chloe had left Marinette started to relax a bit but not fully. "I think dance is a wonderful idea," Adrien said turning to face Marinette. "Marinette would you care for a dance?" He asked holding out his hand. "I would love too." She said taking his hand and stood up. Adrien then led her to the dance floor and spun her into him. He placed one hand on her back and took her hand in his. Marinette then placed her other hand on his shoulder and he pulled her closer to him and they began to dance around the floor. "Adrien, what are we going to do about Ali's birth Mother if she comes for her?" Marinette asked Adrien as they danced. Adrien looked at her and could see the concern expression on her face. "It won't happen," Adrien replied. "From what we heard Adrien; we both know that Lisa is coming to take her away," Marinette said not looking up at Adrien. "I can't lose her Adrien. It is bad enough that we have to give her up at the end of the 6 months." She added. Adrien placed his forehead on hers and said, "We will not lose our little girl Mari. Because I won't let it happen." Adrien said to her then pulled away from her and placed his hand under her chin and lifted her head so, she could look at him. "We are going to do everything we can to protect our little girl, alright," Adrien said. Marinette nodded and they continued to dance. After they were finished dancing, they headed back to their table to sit down. "Mummy this is so much fun."
"I am glad you are having fun Baby," Marinette replied lifting her daughter onto her knees.
Half an hour later Marinette noticed her daughter starting to rub her eyes and was having trouble staying awake. "Think we should get her home," Marinette said to Adrien. Adrien looked to see his daughter snuggling up with her Mother and was struggling to keep her eyes open. Gabriel also noticed as well and said, "Right we should go then." Adrien picked Alison up from Marinette's arms so she could stand and after they had said their goodbyes and walked to their Limo. Adrien buckled his daughter in and hoped in after his father and Marinette. The time they got home Alison was already asleep. They each got out of the Limo and Adrien picked up his daughter and they walked into the house. Adrien and Marinette said their goodnights to Gabriel then they went upstairs to bed. Adrien placed Alison on the bed and started to get her changed on her PJ's while Marinette walked to her room and got herself ready for bed. Once she was ready she went back to her daughter's room to kiss her goodnight. Once that was done they both left the room and closed the door but left it opened just a bit. Adrien then walked Marinette to her room and said Goodnight to her then he headed to his room for the night.
