At the holding cell, Blunck opens the door for Raggmunk to wheel Dragon in before he closes the door, sighing. "Safe." He said before being sarcastic. "Thanks for leaving me to fight those kids all by myself."
"Someone had to look after sleeping beauty here." Raggmunk replied. "Think of how much trouble we'd be in if Krux and Acronix knew you lost him."
"Me? You're the one who-" The doors suddenly burst open and Blake comes in, charging at Blunck, knocking him down before Raggmunk noticed he dropped his tonfa, picked one up and struck him at the back of his head, knocking him down before Blunck got up and the doors open again, revealing Machia.
"Fools!" She yelled.
"Supreme Commander! Hey, uh, how's it going? Um, we caught this Ninja trying to free the old man."
"That, and you disobeyed me. I know you lost the prisoner. I know all of it. Even the sliders."
"What?" Raggmunk asked. "How could you possibly know..." Machia's eyes glow. "Right. Stupid hive mind."
"Clearly I cannot trust you nitwits to do even the simplest things." She starts wheeling Dragon away. "But since you manage to capture a Ninja, I guess you're not half-bad." Blake groaned as he tried to get up. "Put a Vengestone bracelet on him and get a couple of warriors to take him to his father."
"Yes, Supreme Commander." They soon turn to Blake as he was about to get up. "Stay down, you." He strikes him again, knocking him down.
Outside, Zane and Geoff move along the path before turning to some bushes and poise the moment they rustled. But it turned out to be Lloyd and Maggie. "Lloyd?" Zane asked.
"Maggie?" Geoff asked before Maggie came up to him and they hug.
"Zane, Geoff?" Lloyd asked as he took his hood off. "Have you guys seen Dragon?"
"No, we were tracking Borg, but Zane lost the signal." Geoff replied.
"Then it reappeared." Zane said.
"We had Dragon, but we lost him...again." Maggie replied.
"Wait, where's Blake?" Geoff asked.
"We don't know." Lloyd replied. "Those two guards almost knocked Maggie off a cliff, but I managed to grab her in time."
Zane's eyes soon glowed. "I sense Jay, Cole and Gewuji are nearby." He said.
"Yeah?" Maggie asked. "You sure?"
Zane moves his head to the left a little. "Bring it on, you vermillion doofs!" Jay's voice was heard.
"Yup!" Zane said. "Pretty sure." They soon take off to where they were.
By the entrance to the tunnels, the workers move up the path to the tunnels while Jay, Cole and Gewuji were holding the warriors back. "Oh!" Jay chuckles. "Hey, guys!"
"I know it looks like we are totally outnumbered, but that's only because we are." Gewuji said as she was using the back of her sais to force the warriors back, Jay strikes a few with his nunchucks and Cole kicks some back.
"Our friends need our help." Lloyd said, getting out his sword.
"But what about Cyrus Borg, Master Wu and Blake?" Zane asked.
"I'm afraid they have to wait."
"Lloyd's right." Geoff said, getting out his labrys axe. "As Master Wu says: Never put off until tomorrow what must be done today."
They both immediately take off, followed by Maggie. "True." Zane said, getting out his shurikens. "Let's just hope we are not putting off the wrong thing." He soon took off to join the others.
Outside the blacksmith shop, Krux, Acronix, Blunck and Raggmunk walk along the path as many Vermillion Warriors were behind them.
In the shop, Kai sighed as he looked at the haladie. "I'm sorry." He said. "I didn't know..."
"You said Krux and Acronix want to control all of time." Nya said. "How?"
"They made me design Iron Doom." Ray replied, getting out some blueprints and unrolled one of them. "A transport to carry the Vermillion throughout time. With all those troops, they will be unstoppable."
"You built a time machine?" Kai asked.
"Just the shell. Time machines are a little outside my skill set."
"But Cyrus Borg was forced to design a power source to power the Iron Doom." Maya said, unrolling the other blueprint to show the Apparatus. "It draws temporal energy from the Time Blades."
"Oh, no!" Nya said. "I just realized... that pause we felt earlier? It must have been the third Time Blade!"
"If Krux and Acronix found it, then there'd only be one left." Kai replied. "And if they get that, their time traveling mega armour will be fully operational." Ray and Maya soon smile at each other. "Sorry, fully operational is good news?"
Ray scoffed. "They'll never get it." He said. "Master Wu found it shortly after Acronix disappeared. Turns out it has the power to reverse time. Dragon knew it was too dangerous to keep. Under his orders, we hid it. Buried deep in a location that only the combined Elemental Powers of Fire and Water can reach."
"And since you inherited our powers-" Maya cuts herself off when she realised how long they have been talking and gasped. "You must leave. Now."
Ray gasped as well. "She's right." He starts to move his kids to the door. "If the Hands of Time knew all of this, they could-"
The door soon opened and Krux, Acronix and some warriors came in. "Could force you to retrieve it for us." Krux said. "Excellent suggestion."
"No way!" Kai yelled, holding out the haladie to them. "We will never do your bidding."
"You tell 'em, brother." Nya replied.
"You will, or your parents will face the very fate from which they tried to protect you, and your dead mentor."
"James' dead?" Ray asked. "You killed him! We're done serving you, Krux." He holds up Leo. "Bring your worst." He soon charged at him.
"With pleasure." Krux holds out the red Time Blade, which fires a red beam, hitting Ray, causing him to freeze.
He soon puts the Time Blade away and kicks him back. "Dad!" Kai yelled as Ray lands near them.
"Daddy!" Nya yelled.
"Look who I found." Machia was heard as they turn to see her wheel Dragon in.
"Master!" Kai and Nya yelled as Nya was picking up Leo.
"Dragon!" Maya yelled.
"Uh, technically, she didn't find him, we had him the whole time." Raggmunk said as he and Blunck came in.
"Yeah, we didn't lose him because we took a lunch break or take a Ninja hostage or anything." Blunck said, causing Machia to glare at them.
"You know, it occurs to me that the Reversal Blade is the only way to undo the effects of the Time Punch." Acronix said.
Ray was soon free from the blade's effects. "I'm... I'm afraid that's true." He said.
"If you want to save your Master and the bitch that betrayed us all, you will retrieve the fourth blade." Krux said. "And I'll take that." He swipes the haladie from Kai while Acronix came up to Nya, who holds Leo at Krux's neck.
"Is this really necessary?" He asked. "Drive that through him, and your master gets another Time Punch." Nya soon moved away and dropped the sword before Acronix picked it up and looked at the handle. "Nice stamp. Too bad he's not here to see you again. I heard from my brother that Garmadon himself was the one that killed him."
"Oni killed James?" Ray asked as Maya helped him up.
"Guess I didn't tell you everything I see or hear in Ninjago." Krux replied. "Well, it will be a long story and your kids can explain on the way."
By the swamp entrance, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Geoff, Gewuji and Maggie keep fighting the Vermillion Warriors as one came at Cole, whose Earth Punch is activated, before he punches it, very hard, sending it flying. "Yeah!" Jay said as they all came together and Cole deactivates his Earth Punch. "Yeah! Yeah! That's what I'm talking about. Vermillion done. Workers saved."
"Yes!" Gewuji replied, giving Jay a high five.
"Ninja in the swamp!"
Lloyd exhaled out of exhaustion. "Now we can return to search for Borg and Dragon." He said.
"Don't forget Blake." Maggie replied.
"Hey, there he is!" Cole said, pointing to where two Vermillion Warriors were forcing Blake into the main building.
"And up there." Zane replied, pointing up to see Machia's ship, where Kai, Nya, their parents, Dragon, Machia and the Time Twins were on.
"Okay, so let's Airjitzu after them."
But before they could, all the eggs soon crack open, causing them to gasp as Vermillion snakes start coming out, forming together in armour. "No, Ninja, you will stay." Raggmunk said as he came up to them. "I'm afraid we've reached... the end."
