Alison was having lunch with her friends when she saw Father walk in through the door. She had kept her eyes on the door waiting for her Mother to come in as well. When Alison did not see her mother come in, she was confused because normally both of her parents would always pick her up. Adrien walked over to the table that Alison was sitting at and kneeled beside her. "Hi, Daddy." She greeted her Father. "Hi, Princess," Adrien said. "Where is Mummy? Daddy." Alison asked. "You will see her soon. Carry on eating your lunch. I will be back I have to talk to one of your teachers first." Adrien said Alison nodded then carried on with her lunch with her friends. Adrien left the table and went to go and talk to the headteacher. For half an hour Adrien explained to the headteacher on what is going on and who could pick Alison up from the Centre. Just as he about to leave the office he passed a folder to the headteacher then walked over to the table that his daughter was sitting at. "Come on Honey we are going to get going now," Adrien said as he helped his daughter put her lunch away in her lunchbox. "Okay, Daddy," Alison said as she got off her seat and walked to her cubby hole with her Father to grab her bag. Adrien put her bag over his shoulder and picked his daughter up and left the centre to go back to the Bakery. "Daddy, are we going to meet Mummy now? She asked her Father. "No Honey, we are going to the Bakery to see your Grandparents," Adrien told her. "Yay!" Said, one excited girl. Adrien laughed a little bit while keeping his worry for Marinette off his face so his daughter would not know what is going on.

"Hello Gwandma, Gwandad." Alison said greeting her Grandparents from her father's arms as they walked into the Bakery. "Hello Ali, dear. How was Kindy?" Sabine asked taking her Granddaughter from Adrien. "Good." Came Alison's reply. "Alison why don't you go upstairs and chose a movie that I can put on for you," Sabine said to her Granddaughter. Alison nodded her head as Sabine put her down. Adrien kissed her before watching her go up the stairs to the house. Once she was out of listening range Adrien turned to look at Sabine. "Have you heard anything from Ayla and Nino yet?" Adrien asked Sabine. "No, not yet. I'm afraid." Sabine answered. "Okay. I am going to go and help Ayla and Nino. Ali doesn't know about Marinette being missing yet and I would like to keep it that way."
"I understand. And Adrien, bring her home." Sabine replied and with that Adrien gave Sabine a nod and left the Bakery to start looking for Marinette.
Ad: I have already picked Ali up and I dropped her off with your parents.
Ad: Mari, where are you? Please message back so I know if you are alright.
But Adrien got no reply.

Marinette felt her phone vibrate when she looked at it, she saw that she had 15 missed calls from Ayla and 20 text messages from her as well. She also had missed calls from Nino, Adrien and from her Mother. She did not know where she was going only that she wanted to continue to walk in the direction that she was going in. Tikki flew out of Marinette's purse and asked, "Marinette are you alright?"
"I don't know Tikki," Marinette replied quietly. "Don't listen to Chloe Marinette," Tikki told her holder. "No Tikki. Chloe is right." Marinette said trying to keep the tears back. "What do you mean Marinette?" Tikki asked. "It is my fault that Lilly went missing. I should have stayed at school with her then we both could have walked home together. Chloe is right that it should have been me that went missing." Marinette explained as tears were streaming down her cheek. "Don't say that Marinette. It is not your fault at all. Don't let your emotions show, you know what Hawkemouth will do to you." Tikki said trying to calm Marinette down. "Let him come to me Tikki. There is nothing left for me now." Cried Marinette. "What do we have here. A teenage girl all upset." Hawkmoth said while looking out his window in his hideout. A white butterfly landed on his outstretched hand and it turned purple. "Go now my little Akum… wait this won't work. This girl is angry at herself not at any more. I will save it for her next time." Hawemouth said upset that he could not Akumatize anyone at the moment. "There is heaps left for you Marinette. You have a beautiful daughter who you love so much, and she loves you. You have your parents and friends who love and care about you and don't forget about Adrien or me." Tikki said explaining what Marinette has in her life. "Thanks, Tikki," Marinette said as Tikki hugged her cheek. "Are you ready to go home now Marinette?" Tikki asked her holder. "Marinette shook her head then said, "I am not going home just yet Tikki."
"Why not Marinette?"
"Because I have to go and see someone first," Marinette said to her Kwami. Tikki flew back into her holder's purse as Marinette carried on walking down the street. Once she got to where she was going to she knocked on the door. Then the door opened.

It was around dinner time when Adrien got back to the Bakery and he saw Ayla and Nino with their daughter Ella. "My guess by the looks on your faces that you did not find her either," Adrien asked his friends. "We looked everywhere. She is nowhere to be found." Ayla said then they headed up to the house. Soon as Adrien got through the door Sabine came up to them asked, "Did you find her?" Adrien, Nino and Ayla just shook their heads. Sabine looked down in sadness and you could tell that she was starting to get worried about where her daughter could be. "Daddy, Daddy," Alison said running up to her Father. Adrien opened his arms and let her run into them. "Hi Purincess, were you good?" Adrien asked as he picked her up. "Uh-huh." Was Alison reply. That was when Alison realises that her mother wasn't here as well. "Mummy fith you?" Alison asked Adrien. "No, she isn't Baby," Adrien replied back with. "Why? Where is she, Daddy?" Alison asked again. Adrien then carried her over to the couch and sat down with her on his knee. "I don't know Baby," Adrien said quietly. Alison looked at her Father then over to her Aunty and Uncle then to over to her Grandparents then back to her Father "But why?"
"Baby, something happened today, and Mummy is missing," Adrien said trying not to scare his daughter. "Why she leawe us? She not lowe us?" Alison asked with tears in her eyes. Adrien wiped the tear that escaped. "Of course, she loves us. She just wants to be alone at the moment. Don't cry, Baby." Adrien said pulling his daughter in for a hug. There was a knock on the door. Sabine had rushed to the door to answer it thinking it might have been Marinette expect it wasn't. It was Gabriel Agreste. "Hello, Sabine." Gabriel greeted. "Hello, Gabriel." Sabine greeted back. "Is my son here?" Gabriel asked Sabine. Sabine nodded and moved to the side to let Gabriel into the house. Then they walked into the lounge. "Hello, Father," Adrien said. Gabriel took one look around the room and saw the sad looks on everyone's faces, and he knew something must have happened. "Hello, Adrien. What is going on?" Gabriel asked Adrien. "It is Marinette…"
"What about Marinette?" Gabriel asked, "Father Marinette is missing." Adrien told his Father. "Missing?" Gabriel said with a confused look on his face. Everyone was quiet for a bit. "Ali Baby, why don't you go upstairs and watch a movie with Ella for a bit," Adrien said to his daughter. "NO!" Alison shouts as she buried her head deeper into her Fathers shoulder. Adrien stroked his daughters back as he said, "Baby, go with Ella and Aunty Ayla will put a movie on for you two."
"No, I want to find Mummy," Alison said through her tears. "I know Baby, we will soon. But first, Adults need to talk. So, can you go upstairs for me? Please Baby." Adrien said to Alison who finally agreed to go upstairs. Adrien set her down and Alison followed after Ayla and Ella upstairs to watch a movie. Once Ayla came back down, they started talking.

"I think it is best if you guys start from the start, so we know what happened," Tom said. "Well, this morning Marinette when we got to school. Marinette took off on her own and we found her sitting in front of the memorial." Alya started to explain. "Then what happened?" Sabine asked the four. "Well it was coming to the end of class when Miss Bustier was reminding us about the memorial and that is when Chloe opened her big mouth," Nino said. "What did Chloe say?" Gabriel asked them. "Chloe said that Marinette should have been the one that went missing 4 years ago," Adrien said while looking down at the ground. "Oh no," Sabine said looking at her husband with a worried look on her face.

A/N I am thinking about having Marinette's cousin Lilly make a small appearance in one of the next few chapters. What do you guys think? Should Lilly ask Marinette to meet her somewhere through a note or should Lilly just stay gone? Let me know in the comments
