"Mummy, can you put Moana on pwease?" Alison asked her mother. "Sure, Baby girl," Marinette said taking the DVD from her daughter and putting it in the DVD Player while Alison went to sit on the couch waiting for the movie to start.
Once the movie was on Marinette went to join her daughter on the couch and wrapped an arm around her. "Mummy, you better today?" Alison asked. "Yes Honey, I am better today," Marinette replied. "I wought you lewt us Mummy," Alison said sounding hurt.
Marinette noticed the change in her daughter's voice and hugged her tight. "Oh Baby. I will never leave you ever." Marinette said giving Alison a kiss. Alison put her arms around Marinette's neck and held on tighter.
"Whewe is Daddy?" Alison asked as she was still in Marinette's brace. "I am not too sure Baby. But he will be around somewhere." Marinette said pulling back from the hug. She was wondering herself where Adrien was since he came up from breakfast with them then he just walked out of his room and hasn't returned yet.
But she was not going to worry about and just enjoy her time with her daughter. So, together they watched the movie and waited for Adrien to come back.
Adrien stood in front of his Father's desk with his Father sitting behind it. "You wanted to see me, Father," Adrien said. "Yes, please sit Adrien," Gabriel said gesturing to the chair in front of his desk, which Adrien sat down in. "Adrien, you are needed for a Photoshoot today," Gabriel stated getting straight to the point. "What!"
"You heard me." Replied Gabriel. "But Father, I promised Mari and Ali that we would stay home today," Adrien said. "Well, you are just going have to break that promise to them," Gabriel stated. Adrien sat there and stared at his father. He could not believe what he was hearing, his father telling him to break a promise.
'Never in my life have I broken a promise to anyone so why would I start now' Adrien thought to himself. "Adrien? Adrien? Adrien?"
"Huh?" Adrien said breaking out of his thoughts and looking at his father.
"Sorry, father I was in deep thought."
"That is fine. But go and get ready for this Photoshoot. You will be leaving in an hour." Demanded Gabriel. "No. I am sorry Father. But I won't be doing a Photoshoot today." Adrien said putting his foot down for once. "What? Why not?" Gabriel asked raising his voice a bit. "Because father I will not be breaking any promises especially if I make a promise to Marinette and to my daughter," Adrien said standing up from his seat.
"Some promises are meant to be broken sometimes. That how life works." Gabriel said with a harsh voice. "How can you say that."
"I have made my decision. You will be doing that Photoshoot and that is final." Gabriel demanded. "NO father. Marinette needs me and so does Alison." Adrien said losing his cool with his father. "Why Adrien? I know Marinette is your girlfriend, but Alison is not even your own daughter." Gabriel stated.
"It does not matter if Alison is not my daughter by blood. But she is still my daughter if you like it or not. Have you forgotten what you and Marinette talked about a month ago? Because we will make it that you are not allowed to see your own Grandchild. And as for Marinette Father, I love her." Adrien said then turned to walk out of his father's office slamming the door behind him.
"You Okay Kid?" Plagg asked Adrien. "I will be fine Plagg," Adrien said to his Kwami. "Want to talk about it?" Plagg asked again. "Since when do you want to talk about stuff like this?" Adrien asked. "Take it or leave it, Kid."
"I cannot believe my Father and what he said," Adrien said going on about it to Plagg as they were walking down the hallway, not that Plagg was really listening but he knew that his holder needed to vent. "Why would he ever think that I would break a promise. I would die before breaking any promises." He said as they walked upstairs and back to his room.
When Adrien got to the door of his room, he could hear laughter coming from behind his door. When he walked in, he saw his girls on the couch watching a movie. So, he decided to sneak over to them, and he went behind Marinette and wrapped his arms around her and whispered in her ear, "Good Morning M'Lady." Marinette froze when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her body, then relaxed when she heard the familiar voice.
"Morning Kitty." She whispered back. "How are you feeling today?" He asked as he climbed over the back of the couch and sat down beside her "Better than I did yesterday, now that you are here." She replied. Adrien kissed her forehead. "Daddy," Alison called after she realised that her father was in the room. "Morning Purincess"
"What are you watching?" Adrien asked his girls. "Moana," Alison shouted. Adrien laughed at his daughter excitement. "So, the plan for today is to hang around here. What do you think of that?"
"Sounds like a plan."
Half an hour later Marinette was drawing in her sketchbook while Adrien and Alison were playing a board game. "Not fair. You always win Daddy."
"I am sorry Purincess. You can win next time." Adrien said to his pouting daughter then Alison turned to her mother, "Mummy can you pway with me now." She asked her mother. "Sure, Baby girl," Marinette answered back as she put her design book down and went to where they were playing the board game. Marinette took Adrien's spot as he moved to sit behind Alison. Two rounds later which Alison won both rounds which made her happy. Just then Adrien's computer was going off. Marinette and Adrien looked over at the computer.
"What is that going off?" Marinette asked as she watched Adrien walk over to his computer. "It is the ladyblog," Adrien answered. "Marinette we need to go. There is an Akuma downtown." He added. "What about Ali. We cannot take her with us?" Marinette asked Adrien. "Ali, we need you to stay here Okay. There is trouble down in town and Mummy and I need to go and help." Adrien told his daughter. Alison nodded and went to hide somewhere in her fathers' room.
"Plagg Claws Out!" Adrien called on his transformation. While Marinette was doing the same. They both then jumped out the window to go and find the Akumatize victim. "Let's make this quick so we can get back home to our daughter." Ladybug said. "I was just thinking the same thing, M'Lady." Replied Chat.
"I AM WAITER AND WHERE IS CHLOE BOURGEOIS." Yelled out the Waiter. "CHLOE BOURGEOIS COME OUT AND MEET YOUR DOOM" It did not take long for Ladybug and Chat Noir to find where the Akumatize victim was. "I wonder what this one is calling itself?" Chat asked his partner as they landed on the roof of a house nearby.
"I AM WAITER AND BRING ME CHLOE BOURGEOIS." Cried out, Waiter. "Does that answer your question now. And we also know who caused this person to get Akumatized." Ladybug said. Ladybug and Chat Noir jumped down in front of the Waiter. "Stop right their Waiter." Yelled Ladybug. "WELL, WELL, WELL… ISN'T LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR. NOW HAND OVER YOUR MIRACULOUS!" yelled the Waiter.
"I was having a furry good day until you interrupted it." Chat said. "Not the time for a pun Chat." Yelled out Ladybug. "GIVE ME YOUR MIRACULOUS NOW OR PAY THE PRICE." Screamed Waiter. Ladybug and Chat Noir were fighting the Waiter for half an hour when Ladybug called for her Lucky Charm, which gave her a cardboard shape of Chloe.
"Chat destroy that notebook on her." Yelled Ladybug as she put the cardboard of Chloe somewhere for the Waiter to see it. "Waiter." Ladybug calls out to get the Waiter's attention. The waiter turned and saw a cut out of Chloe and headed right for it. "Cataclysm!" Yelled Chat Noir. Chat hit the notebook and it turned to dust.
The purple butterfly came out and started to fly away. "No more evil-doing for you little Akuma. Time to de-evilize. Bye-bye, little butterfly."
"Miraculous Ladybug." Yelled Ladybug as she threw her lucky charm up into the air. Ladybug and Chat Nir fist-bumped before the left the scene to head home to their little girl.
Alison was still hiding in her spot when her parents came through the window just as their transformation were about to wear off. Tikki and Plagg flew out of their miraculous and landed in their holders' hands. "Ali, Ali" Marinette calls out to her daughter. "It is alright Ali you can come out now," Adrien said. Alison came out from her hiding spot and ran to her parents. "Sorry, it took so long Baby," Marinette said while hugging her daughter. "It's okay. Mummy, I am hungwy." Alison told her Mother. "Well, it is lunchtime."
"How about I will go downstairs to the kitchen and ask the cooks to make us some sandwiches, then we can go and eat then in the garden," Adrien said to Marinette and Alison. "Can we Daddy," Alison asked jumping up and down in excitement. "Mari, what do you think?" Adrien asked his girlfriend. "I think it is a wonderful idea." Replied Marinette.
Adrien then left the room to go down to the kitchen and told the cooks the plan for lunch, while Marinette told Alison that she was going to the room to get something. On her way to her room, she bumped into Gabriel Agreste. "Hello, Gabriel." Marinette greeted. "Hello, Marinette. How are you feeling?" Gabriel asked her. "I am feeling much better today than I did yesterday. But it is still hard for me which is why I am grateful that I have Adrien in my life" Marinette said.
"You gave us quite the scare yesterday when you disappeared," Gabriel stated. "I am sorry about that. Normally I only disappear for a few hours after school. But after what Chloe said to me which hurt me a lot and that is why I was gone for most of the day." Marinette explained to him.
"Anyway, since you are here. I was wondering if you could look after Alison tonight so Adrien and I can go on our date?" She asked him. "That is fine. I can do that for you." He replied. "Thank you, Gabriel," Marinette said then she carried on to her room while Gabriel carried on down the hallway.
Adrien walked back into his room and see Alison playing with her toys but Marinette was not there. "Daddy is lunch weady" Alison asked her Father when she saw him back in the room. "Nearly." He said. "Where is Mummy?"
"She went to her room," Tikki said coming up to Adrien. Just before Adrien could answer Marinette walks back into the room. "Lunch ready?" She asked Adrien. Adrien chuckled before answering, "It will be by the time we get down there. I also told the cooks to put some cookies and cheese in with lunch for Plagg and Tikki."
"Thank you, Adrien," Tikki said. "Should we go now?" Adrien asked. Marinette nodded then called out to Alison saying it was lunchtime.
Adrien leads the two and the Kwami's outside to the garden for lunch. When Marinette saw the garden she could not believe how beautiful it was. "It is beautiful Adrien." She said. "Thanks, it was my Mothers garden. When it was a nice day, she would bring me out here and teach me about the flowers.
Then once she was gone, I never came back out here, until a few years ago and I started to fix it up and got it to what it used to look like." Adrien explained. "It is really beautiful. Thank you for showing and sharing it with us." Marinette said as they made their way to a tree to sit under to eat their lunch.
"So, what are we going to do With Ali tonight, when we go out on our date?" Adrien asked Marinette as they ate lunch. "That has been taken care off." She replied. "What do you mean?" He asked her. "I mean, I saw your Father on way to my room after that Akuma and I asked him to look after Alison tonight and he agreed."
Adrien was surprised to hear that his Father agreed to babysit Alison tonight after the argument they had this morning. Obviously, he thought about he said to him. "I am just shocked he agreed after our argument this morning," Adrien said. "What do you mean argument this morning?" Marinette asked him concerned. "This morning I was called to Father's office that is why I disappeared for a bit. He told me that he wanted me to do a Photoshoot today and I said no to it."
"Why did you say no for?" She asked. "Because I had promised you both that we would spend the day together with all three of us," Adrien explained. "Oh, Adrien. You wouldn't have broken a promise to us. I would have understood why and yes Ali would have been upset but she would not be alone. But thank you for saying no." Marinette said before continuing
"But look at her." Adrien looks up and sees his daughter playing in the garden. "Adrien that girl adores you. She loves you as if you were her real Father. Nothing you do could ever bring that girl down." Marinette said as they both sat there watching their daughter for a bit. Adrien then turns to Marinette and says, "I love you, Mari."
"I love you too Adrien," Marinette replies as she leans up to kiss him. "Daddy you pway tag fith me?" Alison calls out to Adrien who just pulled away from the kiss. "Sure, Purincess." Adrien said standing up and offering Marinette his hand to help stand up. Then they go off and play tag with their daughter.
As they were playing tag, Gabriel was watching them from his window in his office. "Adrien seems to attach to that child," Gabriel said to himself out loud.
