A/N- I am back. It has been a busy few weeks but now I am back and hopefully will have some more chapters out soon after this one so, here is a new chapter. ENJOY!
After spending the afternoon outside in the garden together, it was now time for Adrien and Marinette to get ready for their date. Marinette went to her room and had a shower. Once she was finished in the shower and got out, she then walked to her wardrobe to find an outfit for her date with Adrien tonight.
"Tikki I need help deciding on what to wear tonight," Marinette said to my Kwami who was sitting on her bed eating a chocolate chip cookie. "Marinette you have tons of designer clothes that you have designed in your wardrobe." She said.
"Just wear a nice dress," Tikki added. "I guess your right. Now, what dress." Marinette asked Tikki as she pulled out two dresses and held them out to her to see.
"Mm… they both are gorgeous Marinette. But I think you should wear the peach one. It will make Adrien jaw drop." Tikki said with a giggle. "I think you might be right," Marinette said as she laid the dress on my bed then put the red one away.
Marinette got into her dress and got some matching heels out of the wardrobe and put at the end of her bed then went to sit down at the mirror so I could do my hair.
"I think you should let your hair out and not have it up in your normal pigtails," Tikki said coming over to sit on her shoulder. "Yea I should have it out for once."
Marinette took her pigtails out and brushed her hair through a couple of times before setting the brush down and walking over to her bed so she could put her shoes on.
"What do you think Tikki?" Marinette asked her as she did a twirl. "You look beautiful Marinette," Tikki replied. "Thanks, Tikki."
"Mummy wooks wery pwetty." Alison said to her Mother. "Thank you, Darling."
Back in Adrien's room, he was also stressing out on what to wear for his date tonight. "Plagg I don't know what to wear." Adrien moaned to Plagg. "Don't ask me I have no fashion sense. You're the Fashion dude you should know." Plagg said.
"You are so much help," Adrien said sarcastically. "Your welcome kid," Plagg replied not noticing that Adrien was being sarcastic. Adrien then decided to pull out a plain black suit that he had in his wardrobe.
"I guess it will be this one then. Since I have never worn it since Father designed it for me." Adrien said to himself. He then pulled out some black dress shoes and went to get change.
Once he was changed, he put his shoes on and ran a brush through his hair and then put some cologne on. "Looking good Kid," Plagg said to his holder.
"Thanks, Plagg. Now let's go and get Marinette." Adrien said before Plagg flew into his suit pocket. Then he walked out of his room and down the hall towards Marinette's room.
Adrien knocked on her door and it took a minute for her to answer. When Marinette opened her bedroom door and saw Adrien standing there.
Adrien took one look at her and his jaw dropped just like Tikki said it would. Marinette giggled behind her hand which bought him out of his thoughts.
"Um… Wow, you look gorgeous." Adrien stuttered out which cause for Marinette to blush. Alison came to the door and said, "Daddy does Mummy wook pwetty?"
"Yes, she sure does," Adrien said as he picked Alison up as Marinette came out of her room.
When the three of them got downstairs Gabriel was already waiting at the door for them.
"Now Purincess. You be good for your Grandfather and listen to what he says." Adrien told Alison. "Okay, Daddy. I pwomise." Alison replied. "That's my girl," Adrien said then kissed her on the head.
Marinette also kisses Alison on the head then she said, "We will see you in the morning, have a good sleep Baby." Adrien then passed Alison over to his Father who took her into his arms.
Adrien then grabbed Marinette's hand as they both walked out to the car that was taking them on their date. "Bye Mummy, bye Daddy," Alison called out to her parents as they got into the car.
Gabriel and Alison stood at the door as they watched the car leave the driveway. Gabriel turned to his granddaughter and said, "Let's go and eat dinner now." Alison nodded. Then Gabriel took her to the Dining room so they could have dinner.
When Adrien and Marinette arrived at the restaurant, Adrien helped her out of the car and led her into the restaurant. "A table booking under Agreste for two," Adrien said to the waitress who was standing at the door.
"This way please." The waitress said then led the two to their table. Once they got to their table Adrien pulled Marinette's seat out for her and she nodded her thanks to him as she sat down. Adrien moved to sit across from her.
The waitress gave them both their menus and walked away from their table. "What are you going to have M'Lady?" Adrien asked his girlfriend. "Hm… I am not too sure. Maybe pasta. What about you Kitty?" She asked him.
"I was thinking about Pasta as well," Adrien replied. When Adrien looked up from his menu, he knew that something was bothering Marinette. "M'Lady, what's wrong?" Adrien asked her.
"I just feel very uneasy about leaving Ali while 'she' is still out there trying to get to her," Marinette explained. "She will be fine Mari. Lisa cannot get into our house without the security system going off." Adrien said as he took her hand in his.
Marinette smiled at him, but he knew it would take a bit more to convince her anyway. Adrien was just about to say something else when the Waitress came back over to get their orders.
They both gave the Waitress their orders and drinks then left now long after that. "What is the plan for the rest of the night after Dinner?" Marinette asked Adrien.
"Someone is Edgar," Adrien said with a chuckle. "I am not Edgar. Just was wondering what the plan was for the rest of the night that's all." Marinette said.
"Uh-huh." Replied Adrien who was still chuckling. "What?" exclaimed Marinette. "Nothing," Adrien said shaking his head. They carried on with their small talk until their Dinner arrived.
"Alison, it is time for you to go to bed," Gabriel said to his Granddaughter. "Aww, but I am not tirwed." Alison moaned to her Grandfather. "Alison, I have already let you stay up an hour past your bedtime. So, it is bedtime now." Gabriel said.
"Okay, Gwandpa. Can you read me a story?" She asked as Gabriel carried her to her room. "I don't have time to read you a story. I am putting you to bed then I am going back to work." Gabriel said in a stern voice.
"Pwease, pwease Gwandpa." Alison begged. Gabriel sighed and knew that she was not going to give up until he agreed to read her a story. "Fine." He said as he was trying to tuck into bed. Gabriel sat on the edge of the bed and Alison then crawled out of bed and onto his knee.
Gabriel picked a book from her bedside table and started to read the story to her. He was halfway through the book when he noticed that Alison was starting to fall asleep against him.
He put the book down then he placed her in bed and said a quick 'Good night' to her before he headed towards the door. Just as he was about to walk out of her room, he heard her say in a sleepy voice. "Night Gwandpa wove you." Gabriel then closed the door slightly behind him and walked down the hallway to his office for the rest of the night.
A few hours later:
Adrien had just paid for their Dinner and was about to leave the restaurant when he asked, "What do you say about taking a drive around Paris before we head home?"
"I would love that," Marinette replied back with. Adrien and Marinette hopped into the car and they told a drive around Paris. "This is wonderful Adrien," Marinette said 10 minutes into the drive as she laid her head on Adrien's shoulder.
"I am glad that you are having fun Bugaboo," Adrien said calling her one of the nicknames that he had for her. Marinette rolled her eyes at the nickname when she felt his fingers lift her chin up so he could kiss her and she kissed him back.
After what felt like minutes the pulled apart due to them needing some air. And Adrien wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to him. "Adrien what are we going to do about Lisa if she does come after us and takes Ali away from us?
"If that does happen, then we will do everything in our power to get her back. But we are not going to let it happen. But we are safe if we stay within the gates of my home." Adrien said. "I know we are safe within your gate. But what about when we are out in public. She could try that way to get to us." Marinette said making a point.
Adrien knew she was right about her point, but he just could not bring himself to agree with her and all he said back was, "We won't let that happen."
"Ready to go home now Bugaboo?"
"Yes, Chaton. Let's go home." Marinette answered back. Adrien kissed her forehead as they sat there together in silence for the rest of the drive home.
Adrien and Marinette and not long gotten home and had just checked on Alison, who was sleeping peacefully. "So, what do you want to do now?" Adrien asked her as they stood outside their daughter's room.
"We could go back to your room and watch some TV for a bit," Marinette said. "That sounds like a plan then." Came Adrien's reply. "I will be there shortly; I am just going to get change first," Marinette said.
Adrien nodded then went to his room. Marinette enters her room so she could get changed into her PJ's. Tikki phased through Marinette's purse just as Plagg phased through her door. "You two can stay in here if you want to for the night," Marinette said to the Kwami's. "Okay. Thank you, Marinette." Tikki said as Plagg just grumbled.
When Marinette got to Adrien's room he was already sitting on the couch watching TV. She walked over, sat down beside him, and leaned into him. "Did you enjoy tonight Bugaboo?" Adrien asked her.
"Yes, I did. What about you?"
"I did too. But you know the night is still going." Adrien told her. "What do you have in mind kitty?" Marinette asked as she moved to face him a bit more. "This…" Adrien said as he bought his lips to hers. Marinette was surprised at first then she kissed him back.
She then moved to straddle his lap as she continued to kiss him. Adrien's touched were so feather-light, yet so assertive as one of his hands moved to her back and the other one was tangled in her hair at the nape of her neck. Adrien was feeling gutsy as his hand began to slowly drift lower.
He held her tight against him, scared to let her go and to wake up to find that this had all been a dream. Marinette was not backing down either, she was fisting her hands through his hair, demanding his undivided attention as his hand found its way to the dip of her lower back.
They pulled apart from each other to gather their breath and they rested their foreheads against one another. "Wow," Adrien said out of breath. Marinette let out a giggle as she wrapped her arms around Adrien's neck and pulled him to her then this time, she kissed him.
Adrien held on to Marinette as he stood up from the couch and walked towards his bed and placed her on it while he was still kissing her. Marinette laid down on the bed as Adrien crawled up so he could continue to kiss her. He hovered over her so he would not trap her with his weight.
But Marinette was not having it and she pulled him lower towards her, forcing him to settle his weight on her and propped up by only his elbows. Adrien shifted his weight so that he had a knee settled in between her legs so that he could be closer to her but also support his weight as well.
After what felt like 10 minutes of making out, they had finally pulled about and looked at each other while breathing heavily. They both had big smiles in their faces when Adrien said, "Come let's get some sleep."
Adrien sat back on his knees and pulled Marinette up with him. He then picked her up bridal style and chucked her up the bed causing her to giggle. They both got under the covers still gigging. "Night Kitty," Marinette said in a whisper trying to clam down. "Night M'Lady," Adrien whispers back. Then they fell asleep together.
Adrien and Marinette had only been asleep for about an hour when they heard the security alarm going off throughout the house. Marinette and Adrien both sat up in bed suddenly when they heard the alarm. "Adrien, what is that sound?"
"It is the Security Alarm going off," Adrien said as he jumped out of bed. That was when they both heard screaming coming from down the hallway. "Alison." They both said at the same time. Marinette also jumped out of the bed and followed Adrien out of the room and down the hallway.
To where they bumped into Gabriel outside Alison's room and they all could hear her crying. "Father what is going on?" Adrien asked his father. "Someone is trying to break in and get pass our Security System." Gabriel said.
Marinette had gone pale when she heard what Gabriel just said. She looked at Adrien and said, "Adrien…" Adrien looked at his girlfriend and noticed how pale she went. He put his arm around her and pulled her into him. "Adrien, it's Lisa isn't? She has come to take Alison from us." Marinette said as her voice shakes.
"It won't happen." Adrien said looking at Marinette and pulling her in for a hug and kissing her forehead. Gabriel just stood there looking at the pair before he said, "Adrien, take Marinette and go to Alison and try to calm her down. You both stay there till I get back." Gabriel demanded as he opened Alison's bedroom door and Adrien led Marinette into the room.
Once they were in the room Gabriel shut the door tight and went to see what was going on. "Mummy." Cried Alison and Marinette walked over to her crying Daughter. "Daddy."
Marinette turned the bedside lamp on and climbed onto the bed beside Alison and gather Alison up into her arms. "Shh, shh. It is going to be okay." Marinette said trying to keep her own tears at bay. Adrien hopped up beside Marinette and he just held both girls as they tried to calm Alison down.
Gabriel walked down to the front door, opened it and yelled out, "What on earth is going on here. Leave before I call the police."
"Well, well, well. Mr Gabriel Agreste." Lisa said from the other side of the gate. "And who are you?" Gabriel asked the woman that stood at the gate. "I am Lisa Harris and I am here to take Alison Harris back," Lisa calls out.
"I don't think my son and his partner would agree with you." Gabriel said. "I don't care what your son and that baker girl think. Alison is my daughter and she needs to be with her real mother." Screamed Lisa. "Keep your voice down and get off my property NOW!" Gabriel demanded. Gabriel shuts the door and locks it so no one could enter and he walks back upstairs to Alison's room.
Back in Alison's room they could hear screaming coming from outside and Adrien and Marinette knew that was Lisa screaming. Marinette then started humming a lullaby hoping to calm Alison down. 5 minutes later Alison had cried herself to sleep in her mother's arms.
"Adrien what are we going to do now that she knows where you live? She won't give up." Marinette said to Adrien. "I don't know now after this. I really don't know anymore Mari." Adrien said at lose for words as he had no idea what to do anymore after this event tonight. "Maybe I shouldn't do this Photoshoot tomorrow." Adrien stated.
"What no. You already put today's Photoshoot off. You need to do tomorrow's Photoshoot." Marinette said to him. "But I cannot leave you or our daughter alone not after tonight," Adrien stated.
"Adrien listen to me. We will be fine. You go and do your Photoshoot and we will go and have lunch with Alya and Ella." Marinette said.
"Keep your voice down and get off my property NOW!" they heard Gabriel say getting angry then they heard the door slam shut. That was when they heard Lisa shut out, "I WILL GET YOU BACK ALISON AND WHEN I DO, YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING."
Adrien looks at Marinette who holds there sleeping daughter tighter but not tight enough to wake her up. "I don't think I am going to be able to leave her alone for the rest of the night now after that," Marinette said stroking Alison's face.
"I know I feel the same. We will sleep here tonight." Adrien said just as the door open and Gabriel walks in. "She is gone now. Both of you should try and get some sleep." Gabriel said then he left the room closing the door behind him.
Marinette moved away from Adrien so she could put their daughter back into bed and she hopped in beside her and wrapped her arms around Alison. Adrien then hops in beside Marinette and reaches out to turn the lamp off and wrapped his arms around both girls.
Marinette and Adrien then tried to go back to sleep.
