Senki Zesshou Symphogear Beyond

Chapter 1

A girl and her mother were hiding inside a house, the outside world was falling apart, the roots of a "tree" called Yggdrasil were wreaking havoc the Global Network, everything was happening because an Entity wanted to free the world of the Curse of Balal.

· "Don't worry, everything it's going to be okay" – whispered the woman to the girl with a calmed voice.

The girl was really scared, she did not know what was going to happen. The future was uncertain until…

"Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal, emustolronzen Finé el balal zizzl… Gatrandis babel ziggurat edenal, emustolronzen Finé el zizzl…"

A song echoed through the sky joined by six powerful lights that were falling like meteors; the cavalry had arrived.

The girl got out of her hiding place driven by curiosity, wanting to know where that sound was coming from and saw through the window how those colorful lights fell. Suddenly, her heart filled with peace and excitement knowing that she had a chance; a chance of surviving and getting over this catastrophe.

· "That day… I saw them. Six lights that were emitting a powerful chant. A song full of hope. This changed my outlook on life"

EP01: "A new journey"

"12 years later…"

A computer was running a configuration program, which was loading with no mishaps, while a carmine, transparent object was being hit by some little energy rays and shining inside a crystal box surrounded by little particles.

Beside it, a young woman was taking a nap while the app finished the tasks. She was wearing some casual clothes and a white lab coat. She had been working all night on that object and this was the perfect time to get that well deserved rest.

Her name is Yuzuki Kristen, she's being working at S.O.N.G as a Quantum Nanomechanics and Microfluidics Researcher for a while now. Her mission was to carry out a new defense system, a substitute for the Symphogear System which was destroyed at Shem-Ha's incident. After years of investigation she had finally found the key to create an improved version of Ryoko Sakurai's invention.

"CONFIGURATION COMPLETE"

A notification sound made Kristen jump and fall of her chair.

· "Fu- That hurts" – the girl cried while scratching the back of her head.

Suddenly, she realized and looked at the green screen she's been working on for a long time.

· "Ah? it's done! How exciting! Elfnein is going to love this"

· "What is that thing that I'm going to love?" – a girl with a short blonde-green hair appeared behind Kristen.

· "AHHH! you scared me…" – Kristen whispered while getting over the shock – "Look, the configuration is complete"

· Really?! That means that we can finally see if it works"

· "I'm so excited! I can't wait to try it out!" – Kristen cried out being as excited as Elfnein was.

· "Yeah! I'm going to the simulator to get everything ready. Go and get ready too" – Elfnein said just before leaving the lab.

· "Okay, I'll see you there!" – Kristen answered quickly while taking off her lab coat and throwing it to the nearest chair.

A suited-up man saw Elfnein running towards the simulator. He assumed that they've finally developed the new weapon. Right after that he went to talk with Kristen.

· "I just saw miss Elfnein get into the simulator room. She looked super excited"

· "Oh, Hideo!" – Kristen was finishing getting ready – "Yeah, we are going to try that relic that we created. I'm sorry but I have to go, when you finish here please close the door. See you later! – Kristen screamed while running into the simulator.

· "Perfect, I'll see you in a while" – Hideo answered while saying goodbye to Kristen with his hand. Right after that, he turned around to look at the window that was opened in the computer.

"Los Cabos, Baja California"

Armed men were taking over a poor village by force. They killed adult men and kidnaped kids, giving priority to young girls.

A man with an athletic build gets off one of the helicopters to take a look at the situation. After verifying that everything was going really well, he decides to go to the place where they have the girls kidnaped.

· "Hmm… Looks like they'll be enough for my Chinese customers" – the man said just before laughing. He turned around and got out of the place.

A girl with short, dark green hair looked at him with hatred on her eyes while hugging a little kid who was crying in fear.

That man's brain was only focused on one thing: The benefits.

· "Drug trafficking is not giving me enough money… I need something more powerful and profitable" – the man thought when he got a call – "Really? Well, proceed and attack"

Just after hanging out, he looked at the green haired girl and two other girls.

· "I've just had an amazing idea…" – the man thought while smirking.

Meanwhile, at Section 2, everything was going by normally until the alarm began ringing.

· "What's happening?!" – the girl in charge asked.

"Tachibana Hibiki – Section 2 commander, former Gungnir wielder"

· "An intruder has burst in our system! Data is being illegally downloaded" – one of the operators answered.

· "God dammit! Maria, do you copy me?"

· "I do. What's wrong?" – a girl with a powerful voice answered.

"Maria Cadenzavna Eve – Musical producer, Leader of squadron number 1 of S.O.N.G's field agents and former wielder of Airgetlám"

· "I need you to go to the Servers Room. Someone has burst in our system and some data is being illegally downloaded" – Hibiki answered updating her on the current situation.

· "Roger that, I'm on my way" – Maria cuts the communication and runs towards the Server Room.

When she gets there, she is able to see an unknown person using a laptop to steal the data.

· "There you are! Stop what you are doing and put your hands up!" – Maria shouted while taking out her gun.

The individual close the laptop and quickly began the flight. Maria shot him in order to immobilize him, the person takes out his weapon and counterattacks shooting multiple times against Maria who manages to dodge them and get covered behind one of the servers.

· "Maria here. Effectively there's someone in here and it's armed" – Maria reported to Hibiki.

· "Stop him as quickly as possible, he has a lot of explaining to do!"

· "Roger that!" – Maria starts following the suspect who starts knocking down servers in order to stop her.

Maria jumps nimbly over them and while on the air she shoots moving her right arm to the side quickly, which causes the bullets to spin and impact right into the intruder's arm.

The person falls into the ground loosing grip of the laptop. Maria arrives quickly near him but she notices a light near his chest that was flickering faster and faster. Maria jumps back and gets covered behind one of the knocked down servers.

The subject explodes destroying everything in a range of three meters.

Maria stands up with some injures because of the explosion's shards.

· "He committed suicide…" – some agents were arriving to the place in order to inspect it.

· "Miss Cadenzavna, are you okay?" – one of the agents asked.

· "Yeah, I'm okay just a few scratches" – the leader agent answered before turning around to see what was left of the intruder's body – "What the hell is happening here?"

· "Uh? Looks like they've already fixed the problem" – Elfnein mentioned noticing that the alarm was no longer ringing.

· "What happened?" – Kristen asked while being inside the simulator ready to try the new relic.

· "Elfnein I need you to come here immediately. Bring Kristen too" – Hibiki called using the intercom.

· "Okay, we are on our way" – Elfnein answered while looking at Kristen who had a disappointed look on her face because she had not been able to try the new relic.

· "An intruder infiltrated in our facilities stealing a big amount of confidential data. Maria tried to stop him but he committed suicide when he was hit by one of her bullets" – Hibiki explained – "I'm afraid that some of the data regarding Project Q have been stolen too"

· "What?! That can't be true. We've just finished configuring it!" – Kristen complained.

· "That's an advantage, the abilities of the relic hadn't been registered yet. Neither of us really know what it's able to do" – Hibiki stated – "But even so, we can't do any tests, I don't want any data to be registered after what just happened"

· "Understandable…" – Kristen said.

· "Commander! We have new information" –one of the operators informed.

A document appeared on the screen.

· "Looks like the stolen data was sent to a server located in Los Cabos, Baja California…"

· "Los Cabos?" – Maria asked – "Why would anybody send confidential data to a place like that?"

· "…some terrorist groups and drug dealing cartels operate there but the most powerful group there, is 'Black Swan'. Their leader is Andrew Black, an USA famous mercenary and former marine" – concluded the operator.

· "I don't have a good feeling about this…" – Hibiki stated while looking at the man's picture that had been taken from an online newspaper.

· "Why would a terrorist group want some information that is above their understanding…?" – Kristen asked.

· "They are not stupid" – Maria, whose injures had just being treated, answered – "A terrorist group is always going to look for a way to have the world at their feet. It's just that, until now, they did not have a way to do it. We may be facing something big"

"Pacific Ocean, near Yokohama's port"

· "Welp, the containers are ready" – said the man who was in charge of guarding the cargo ship.

· "I wonder what's in there…" – a man who worked in the same ship wondered.

· "No idea but they say that it's highly confidential… So, I guess we'll never know" – the first one answered while laughing.

A sob irrupted in the place getting the attention of those men. Both of them followed the sound until they saw a silhouette of a girl who was pretending to cry.

When she saw them, a creature that looked like a slug emerged and right after that, those men were just a pile of dust.

Some of those creatures started infesting the ship in order to kill every single one of the workers of the ship.

· "Mister Black, here it is what you were looking for" – the girl said using an intercom – "The noise are currently clearing the place, in a few minutes you'll get what you wanted"

· "Excellent, you did an amazing job Lara everything is going smoothly" – Andrew answered using his intercom.

The alarm began ringing at Section 2 again.

· "Again?! What's happening?" – Hibiki asked to the staff.

· "This can't be… We are detecting… Noise signals?!" – the operator answered incredulous.

· "Noise?!" – Hibiki, Kristen, Elfnein and Maria said in unison.

· "Those things… Still exist?! Incredible!" – Kristen cried out.

· "They are at Yokohama's port" – informed the operator.

· "Isn't that the place where one of our fleet unloads?!" – Maria asked.

· "Yes, it is! Kristen, I think this is the perfect time for you to test your creation, how does that sound?" – Hibiki looked at Kristen waiting for her answer.

Kristen was in shock, her and Elfnein's creation was finally going to be tested… On a real battle!

The girl nodded feeling confident and headed for Yokohama's port where the ship was still being attacked by a not really big group Noise.

Lara noticed Kristen's arrival and looked at her.

· "Uh? Who's she? Does she work for the government or is she just a stupid pedestrian who does not know about Noise" – Lara thought after seeing Kristen get in position.

· "Okay…" – Kristen whispers just before breathing deeply.

"Chandrama Bhaala Trishula Tron"

Two energy rings are now encircling Kristen's body, her clothes disappear and an energy tornado appears getting the Noise and Lara's attention.

· "Aufwachen Waveform detected!" – informed one of the operators at S.O.N.G.

"QUANTUM SYMPHOGEAR" "QSG-01 TRISHULA - SYSTEM ALL GREEN"

Hibiki couldn't help but smile because that exact moment reminded her of her first time as the user of the legendary relic Gungnir.

Inside that bright tornado, Kristen felt how a powerful energy began to go all over her body and at the same time she felt a big weight. The different parts of her gear flied off the relic that now had acquired a new shape: the active shape.

The undergear appeared partially covering Kristen's bright body.

All the parts of the gear started placing themselves on her legs, wrists and on her lower back.

A set of headphones appeared on her ears showing a green screen that said: "SYSTEM ALL GREEN" along with its inner mechanisms. Right after that, it closed in order to start operating.

A black little staff made it to her hands just for it to expand into a relatively large trident.

The energy tornado disappeared letting Kristen be seen wielding her new relic: Trishula.

Everyone at S.O.N.G was amazed except for Hibiki and Elfnein. Maria could not believe that the famous "Project Q" was about trying to recreate or even improve the Symphogear system.

Kristen opened her eyes discovering that she was, indeed, wielding her creation. Filled with determination she looked at Lara, who was a little bit disconcerted.

· "Okay, LET'S DO THIS!" – Kristen said, ready for action.
