At Section 2 everyone was amazed and at the same time terrified by the power of Kristen's Armed Gear.
- "Is that the power of Trishula...?" - Hibiki wondered
- "I didn't know it could do something like that... That means we have created a weapon of mass destruction" - Elfnein said lowering her face
- "Come on, it's not your fault. In fact, something like this eventually had to happen and we are moving forward blindly... I just hope that-" - Hibiki was interrupted by the sudden appearance of the image of an angry Tsubasa on the main screen who scared everyone at S.O.N.G.
- "Tachibana! What the hell happened?" - Tsubasa said, looking visibly upset
- "Well, talk of the devil…" - Hibiki thought

- "Well... We…"
Tsubasa sighs, calming herself down a little – "Look, I just got a call from the United Nations, and they were asking for a good explanation of what happened there, and I think you know better than anyone what happened"
- "The truth is… That we do not know exactly what happened so we can't really answer to that question" - Hibiki replied
- "I see, then I will personally go and find out" - Tsubasa said as she got up of her chair
- "But Minister-!" - Tsubasa cut off the communication - "Elfnein...?"
- "Luckily we have the usage record, that will give us a clue of what happened" - replied the alchemist
- "I would be very grateful if you could interpret those data"
After what happened in the place, several police and Section 2 units arrived at the place. Kristen returned to the headquarters but she locked herself in one of the rooms of the place.
Hibiki and Elfnein attempted to talk to her but their efforts were in vain, resulting in an overwhelming silence.
A week later in Los Cabos ...
Andrew was monitoring an experiment in an underground laboratory, the two girls who were locked up before, now have their hands and legs tied in front of a really strange machine.
- "Start the test" - ordered one of the scientists
A device was attached to the left side of the girls' neck. Right after that, they were administered a dangerous dose of a variant of the already famous drug known as LiNKER.
One of the girls began to feel an enormous amount pain inside her body to the point of vomiting blood, the other girl also felt that pain and even vomited blood too, the difference was that she managed to resist a little bit more before momentarily losing consciousness.
The machines stopped working and the girls' vital signs dropped down to zero. Andrew was disappointed because his experiment had apparently failed, killing both of the girls.
Lara was shocked by what she had just witnessed, but the party was not over yet, the two relics that they had stolen and were already in the shape of pendants had begun to shine, then they floated towards the girls and shone with more intensity, now getting the attention of everybody at the laboratory.
The girls' bodies gleamed in two colors, purple and green, the girl whose body glowed green raised her face showing a look that was the harbinger of a catastrophe.
Meanwhile in Section 2 ...
Tsubasa had arrived along with her security scheme
- "Minister Kazanari, I appreciate your visit" - Hibiki said formally
- "Spare me the greetings Tachibana, where is she?" - Tsubasa questioned cutting straight to the point
- "On her room, she's been like that for a week"
At that same time, Maria arrives at S.O.N.G's entrance accompanied by the girl she was with on the day of the incident. The girl also gets out of Maria's car, visibly confused by everything that happened.
- "Uhm… Looks like she's here; can you wait for a bit? Then we will go to the study" - Maria asked to her companion
- "Yes, I suppose..." - replied the girl
- "Thank you, it won't take me too long" - said Maria entering the headquarters
- "I wonder if she's feeling better…" - thought the girl with orange hair
Tsubasa, Hibiki and Maria arrived at the door of Kristen's room.
- "Leave me alone, please" - requested the minister to which Hibiki and Maria agreed
- "May I come in?" - Tsubasa requested as the automatic door opened
Kristen was sitting against the wall; the gear user just turned her head a little to make a noise of approval.
Tsubasa enters the room and finds Trishula's pendant on the nightstand, then sits next to Kristen for a few seconds.
- "I heard that you became very strong in record time" - Tsubasa started the conversation
Kristen only shook her head slightly.
- "I just... I just wanted to help everyone" - Kristen whispered
- "Nobody said that this would be easy" - Tsubasa said seriously - "Listen, I also went through that situation, I lost people that really mattered to me and that I couldn't save, I also felt like you. But..."
Hibiki, Maria, and Elfnein (who arrived shortly after Tsubasa entered the room) were trying to figure out what was going on.
- "...when one door closes, another one opens, you meet wonderful people and you become stronger… What I want to get to is that you must continue, everything is part of a process, do you understand?"
Kristen frowns and tears start going down her eyes.
Tsubasa catches Kristen's expression and smiles softly as she strokes her head like she's her own mother.
Hibiki and Elfnein smile tenderly when they see the scene through the small window of the door.
- "Okay, let off steam. If it helps, when you face that girl again and defeat her, you will have avenged the boy you tried to save. Think about it" - Tsubasa said as she woke up - "See you later" - Tsubasa left the room meeting Hibiki, Elfnein and Maria
- "It seems that we will see her again in action soon" - Tsubasa said giving them a little bit of hope
- "I almost forgot! Tsubasa, I want to introduce you to someone who will be of great help for the phase 2 of Q Project" - said Maria, taking advantage of the opportunity
- "Oh! Who is it?" - asked the minister
- "Wait a moment" - Maria said - "Hello? Let the girl in my car come in, thanks"
The girl enters the headquarters and arrives to the place where Hibiki, Tsubasa, Elfnein and Maria where, guided by the instructions of the guards.
- "She is Katsumi Hayashi" - said Maria
- "N-Nice to meet you" - Katsumi greeted with a bow
- "She works with me in the music industry. I do the production and she is the singer" - said Maria
- "Oh! Does that mean that you're KayMe!?" - Elfnein said letting her fangirl side get out of control.
- "KayMe?" - Hibiki and Tsubasa wondered
Katsumi looks at Maria for a moment and then at Elfnein - "Ehmm... Yes" - the orange-haired girl answers.
- "It can't be! I love your songs; I always listen to them when I'm working!" - Elfnein said excitedly - "Can you give me an autograph please?"
The girls laugh briefly because of the situation
- "Okay, where do you want me to sign?" - Katsumi said after laughing a little
Meanwhile in a really crowded place a song begins to resound, causing confusion amongst the people.
"Zora Meridiem Gram Zizzl"
A glow that has almost the same intensity as a fireball covers the entire place, activating the alarms in section two.
Hibiki, Tsubasa, Maria, Elfnein and Katsumi reached the central part of the headquarters
- "What's happening?" - Hibiki asked
- "Enemy detected on one of the shopping avenues in the city!" - said one of the operators
- "Are they Noise?" - Hibiki asked once more
- "No..." - the operator displays an image showing an Aufwachen waveform
- "An Aufwachen waveform!?" - Hibiki, Tsubasa and Elfnein asked at the same time
"QUANTUM SYMPHOGEAR - QSG-XX GRAM - SYSTEM STATUS UNKNOWN"
- "Gram...!?" - Hibiki asked
The glow disappears letting a black-haired girl wielding a metallic orange and matte black gear be seen, blank stare, soulless, as if she had no control over herself.
Andrew was near the scene using a device similar to a remote control.
- "Now, let the party begin" - Andrew pressed the button on his control causing the girl who wielded Gram to receive a pulse of painful energy making her scream because of the pain. Four blades appeared on her back reassembling the shape of the letter X.
Four circular energy channels are formed from the tips of the blades, from which several golden rays are shot, causing great damage to the city and thus creating panic.
"SUNLIGHT DOOM"
- "They are attacking!" - noticed one of the operators
Elfnein was reviewing the progress of the creation of the new gear for the Q Project, the percentage was at 96%, she had been working on it since that morning but she did not expect this to happen.
Katsumi was somewhat confused by the situation, not knowing what happened and seeing everyone so tense caused her to feel like that.
- "Tachibana, let me help a little" - Tsubasa said taking command of the headquarters
- "I am the Prime Minister of Japan, Kazanari Tsubasa. I authorize the deployment of our entire line of military defense! We need to create a diversion, sorry in advance for what can happen" - having said that, the Air and Ground Forces got ready and subsequently headed to the place where everything was happening.
The user of Gram continued attacking the city while several units of tanks and aerial squadrons were arriving to unload all their artillery.
- "Wait! What about the people who are there?" - Hibiki asked
- "The protocol clearly indicates that civilians must be evacuated before the operation by security personnel, so they must be safe" - Tsubasa replied, then she looks at Elfnein who continues to monitor the progress of the creation of the new relic, the percentage is now at 98%
The Defense Forces are already at their positions, surrounding the place where the girl is at.
- "Let me see" - said one of the commanders while looking for the target in order to attack - "There she is, open fire!"
The tanks began to shoot all their artillery destroying every building they found.
- "The Ground Force began its attack; it is our turn" - said the commander of the Air Division. His squadron begins to make a special attack formation, then each plane launches several long-range missiles causing a huge explosion on the spot.
After the attack, the two commanders of the Air and Ground Forces reviewed the girl's condition with their equipment.
- "I do not expect us to have won. We already know that our weapons are useless against the power of a Symphogear user" - said the commander of the Ground Force while looking for the girl.
Amid the smoke a sphere of brilliant golden energy appears.
- "I told you! Here it comes!" - The Ground commander warned the Air commander while looking for the girl
Meanwhile in the Section 2 headquarters, Elfnein was still monitoring the progress of the new Gear when suddenly… 100%. Right after seeing those numbers, she run as fast as she could towards the laboratory not without first asking Maria and Katsumi to accompany her.
Once in the laboratory ...
- "As with Trishula, we will have to wear a blindfold..." - Elfnein said to Maria
- "Don't worry, Katsumi already knows the basics of the Symphogear system" - Maria said calmly
- "Is that true Katsumi?" - Elfnein asked
- "Yes, in our breaks the teacher Maria told me all her exploits as the Airgetlám user and also how it worked" - Katsumi replied
- "Well, then I shouldn't worry" - Elfnein said handing the pendant to Katsumi
- "I doubt that they really want to destroy Lucy... I suppose they are smart and they are there to cause a diversion, what are you planning now Section 2?" – Andrew thought when he saw what was happening. Then he pressed the button on his control again to re-order an attack from Lucy, this time towards the military.
Lucy unfolds her blades again, giving a signal that she was getting ready to attack.
- "She is going to attack again!" - said the Air commander
A helicopter was approaching battlefield, inside it were Maria (who was piloting) and Katsumi, ready to fight.
- "Are you ready?" - asked Maria
- "Yes, could you put on top of the girl?" - Katsumi said somewhat nervous but at the same time determined
- "B-But... It's risky!" - replied Maria
- "I'll be fine" - Katsumi said with a nervous smile
- "Ok, this girl..." - Maria drove the helicopter to place it on top of Lucy
Lucy was already starting to focus her energy on the blades of her gear, the amount of heat produced by this was indescribable and on Section 2 everyone was waiting for the imminent impact, until...
- "Ruyi Jingu Bang wukong a Tron"
The song resounded in the place getting the attention of all the military.
{BGM: "Ultimate Legend • Ruyi Jingu Bang"}
- "HYYAAAAAAA!" - Katsumi shouted throwing a punch at Lucy's face leaving her defenseless and making her falling backwards to the ground. A few seconds later, the great rays of the blades were shot towards the sky causing it to acquire a golden like color.
Katsumi manages to dodge it and goes to one side of the battlefield.
Everyone at Section two was amazed at what they just saw. Katsumi posed announcing that she was there and then summoned a long staff with golden ends.
Kristen was watching everything from her mobile, despite her mood, she was surprised by that maneuver and after a few moments of reflection she stood up with her eyes filled with determination.
