Hi humans…

Hooray, another chapter! I know I said that I'm not going to post more chapters unless people ask, but I can't help writing stoof and I might as well post the stoof I write. By the way, this chapter will include two characters of my own invention, Rosa and Robin. They are both 16, Rosa has supersonic hearing and wolf ears and a wolf tail, and Robin has superspeed and abnormally large feet (he doesn't wear shoes). They both have brown hair and eyes, and Robin has a very, very, faint Irish accent. That is completely irrelevant, but who cares. Now I won't have to describe them again so yay! I haven't done any Fiona x Hugh stoof except the hint that they were dancing together on just dance in the last one so that is what I will do now. Also, PLEASE REVIEW IT MAKES ME REALLY HAPPY! Enjoy!

Thunderstorms:

Fiona, Hugh, Rosa and Robin were walking back from the grocer's shop. Rosa and Robin were the only ones who were supposed to go, but Fiona and Hugh insisted coming along because of all the flowers that were in bloom. There were primroses, daisies, bluebells, lavender and foxgloves. Hugh's bees were going crazy, and Fiona was happy to grow even more flowers as they walked along. It was such a lovely day that no one expected what Rosa was about to say:

"I hear thunder. I think there's a storm coming." She said, twitching her ears to better identify the noise

"But it's so nice!" Robin protested

"Exactly, that's the thing with storms, they always come when the weather is nice. And the air smells grouchy."

Everyone took a deep smell and concluded that Rosa was right. A storm was coming, and it was coming fast. As they hurried through the village, they could see everyone closing shops and going inside. The sky was darkening, and by the time they got to the home they were probably the only ones outside. Miss Peregrine opened the door and told them that everyone was in the parlour to watch the storm (storms on the island were usually good to watch, although Hugh skipped out most of the time).

Rosa and Robin went to put the groceries away in the kitchen and Hugh started to go up to him room when…

"Oh, no," the flower child said with a sly smile as she grabbed his hand, "you are coming to watch the storm with us, Hugh!"

"But I don't want to!" the bee child protested

"No buts, you never watch storms with us, so I am taking it upon myself to break that pattern. Come on!"

and with this Fiona pulled Hugh into the parlour, where everyone was watching the gathering storm clouds with an air of anticipation. Even Enoch looked a bit excited, and the twins were making some happy growling-cawing noises.

The two sat down on one of the sofas that Bronwyn had pushed into a good position and raindrops began to beat on the glass roof above everyone. Rosa (who was wearing earmuffs to protect her ears from the noise), and Robin hurried into the room just as the low, quiet grumble of the first thunder of a thunderstorm could be heard. A few seconds later, a there was a loud clap of thunder and a flash of lighting lit up the purply sky, making everyone jump, even Miss Peregrine. There were a few giggles and an excited squeal from Bronwyn, but Hugh looked terrified. His bees' buzzing hushed so that it could barely be heard, and he shrank down with wide eyes.

Fiona was, of course, the first person to notice this,

"Hugh, are you ok?"

"Oh…um…" Hugh blushed bright red, although it could barely be seen under all the bees on his face, "Y-yeah. Fine."

Fiona didn't look convinced, but she stayed quiet as Hugh straightened up and everyone started chatting again because you can't just watch storms all afternoon, that would be boring. There was less lightning as the afternoon wore on but even more thunder that Hugh still seemed to be scared of.

About half an hour later, the storm seemed to calm down. The rain didn't stop, but the thunder grew quieter and the lightning stopped entirely. Everyone was about to go and do their part in preparation for dinner, when-

CRASH

The loudest thunderclap the children had ever heard rang through the sky. Hugh yelped and dove behind the sofa in a terrified shaking ball. Everyone stared at the place he had been sitting in astounded silence, half because the thunder was so loud, half because Hugh was now shaking in a ball on the floor behind the sofa. Fiona walked over and crouched next to him.

"Ok, can you please tell me what's wrong now?" She asked

"I-I'm afraid of s-storms." The poor bee child mumbled

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I thought it was stupid to be afraid of storms."

Fiona paused, and a smile crept over her face

"Hey, can I tell you a secret?"

She leaned forward and whispered something into his ear. Hugh beamed and his bees started buzzing in their normal happy way again.

"Ok, let's go and get some flowers from my room to decorate the table." The flower child said, and the two of them walked hand in hand out of the room. As soon as they left, there was a chorus of 'aww!'s and giggles.

Find out what Fiona's secret was in the next chapter!

(I know this is supposed to be goofy oneshots but I want to keep all this stoof in the same place.)
