Sunflower: Hi! Sorry I havn't updated, I've been having trouble with my documents. This is Wff12s chapter, so she will take over from here!
Reading Eevee-Right? And your the only one who likes Stormpaw. Why? He's my favorite charicter. When I'm writing, I have to remind myself that there are other charicters. lol! But At least I try. You'll see a difference in how I write him, and in how sunflower writes him. We had to compromise on what happened to him in this chapter!
Starlingstorm of Skyclan-Wow! Thats the nicest review ever! I need to copy and paste that when I review for -Break-Of-Dawn And Goldensun's-Tale! And is that a Ship I see? And what a common ship! Lol (JK)
Stormpaw jumped in the water. He loved the way the water enveloped his body, washing away every problem. Of course, it also washed off the scent of Hollypaw. Stormpaw closed his eyes.
"Hey, Stormpaw," A high-pitched voice called. "Can I talk to you?"
Stormpaw sighed. Snappaw had been trying to get Stormpaw to be her mate forever. Stormpaw grumbled.
I wonder what Hollypaw is doing? (In italics) He thought.
Snappaw smiled cheekily. "Oh, Flooooooooooooooooood! Come heeeeeeeeeeerrrrrreeee,"
Stormpaw narrowed his eyes. He hated when Snappaw called him flood. But Snappaw was Silverstar's daughter, so he obeyed.
Snappaw leaned forward. "We've been putting this off too long, flood. I just want to say it! Will you be my mate?"
Stormpaw glared at her. This was the first time she had openly said it. "Snappaw, no. I dont love you, and, franky, I never will. So please, stop trying. There are plently of cats who would love to be your mate, but I dont even like you as a friend,"
Snappaw stomped her paws on the ground, showing how spoiled she was. "I never get what I want!" She cried, running away.
Stormpaw sighed, deciding to go to camp and tell her mother. Surly she couldnt be that(In italics) Biased. Stormpaw got to camp. Then he heard the clan leader call a clan meeting. He growled under his breath, and caught suspicious and slightly hostile glares from the elders. He sighed, and padded over to the high tree. It was an old willow tree, and it was older than Strawstar, they're eldest leader.
Silverstar was already there, along with most of his clan. He squeezed through the small throng of cats, and many shot him annoyed looks.
"Specklekit, Ashkit, and Nightkit please step forward."
The three excited kits ran over to they're leader.
"Specklekit. You have reached six moons of age, and are now ready to become an apprentice. Your mentor will be Fishtail. Although he is still young, he has passed his warrior assessment, and I trust him to pass on all he knows onto you."
Specklekits eyes lit, and she rushed over to Fishtail and touched noses. Silverstar smiled, and cleared her throat to continue.
"Ashkit, you too have reached six moons, and you are ready to become an apprentice. Your mentor will be Vinespot. Vinespot, you are strong, and wise, and I hope you will pass on all that you know to Ashkit."
Ashkit looked a little nervous to become Vinespots apprentice, which was understandable. He was strict, and a little controlling. But they touched noses, and Ashkit followed Vinespot to the edge of the small crowd. Stormpaws gaze fell on Nightkit, who was raising his head proudly.
"Nightkit. You have reached six moons, and you too are ready to become an apprentice. I will be your mentor. I hope to teach you all I know. I know you won't let me down."
She smiled warmly at Nightkit, and he bounced happily towards her, and touched noses. Mossflower was practically bursting with pride.
"Specklepaw! Ashpaw! Nightpaw!" the clan called the new paws' names proudly.
Every cat went to their dens. Stormpaw thrust his way to Silverstar's den, where Silverstar already was.
"Yes, Stormpaw?" Silverstar said. "Come in," Stormpaw walked in.
"Ummm, Silverstar? Your daughter, Snappaw, wants me to be her mate. But I dont want to be her mate. Can you...Talk to her? Maybe?"
Silverstar narrowed her eyes. "I always knew Snappaw had it out for you. But I've...never really told her no before,"
Stormpaw knew that was the truth. Snappaw was apprenticed at four moons. Silverstar claimed it was because she was because "Snappaw was special," But Skypaw, her other daughter, was kind and well behaved. She never asked for special treatment, often putting more work on herself to prove that she was just as hard working as anyone else.
Stormpaw shook his head. "Nevermind. I should've never asked. I'll figure it out on my own,"
With a sigh, he walked to the apprentices den. Stormpaw could feel Silverstar's regrettful gaze, but he didnt care. Tomorrow he met with Hollypaw.
Hey, Guys! Hoped you enjoyed! And...uh...review and stuff. Lol.
