Hey!
This is going to be a series of fluffy,
short, random oneshots from one word prompts.
I'm going to be updating my seddie stories on my main if anyone cares about those, probably going to be uploaded on Saturday.
Anyways, as always, enjoy! ~E

~Music~

One thing that Beck and Jade completely agreed on, was the other's music taste. It was almost completely identical. They both were equally extremely passionate about music, and loved to talk about it between themselves. Sometimes, they got lost in a little world of their own when this subject was brought up.

~Flashback~

It was lunchtime, and the gang were sat in their usual seats in the Asphalt Cafe. Tori was talking about her recent class with Mr Connor, who taught her the subject history, something about the teacher calling her out for chewing gum in class. Of course, nobody really cared, least of all Jade, but for once she wasn't making any nasty (but mostly true) comments. Andre noticed this, and looked up to see Beck and Jade whispering into the other's ears, occasionally giggling.

Jade doesn't giggle. Or so he thought.

Well, you learn something new every day. It was probably only Beck who gets to hear it, and Andre felt as though he was invading on something private, so he passed their behavior off as flirting (well, at least they're private about it) and tried to tune in on Tori's extremely boring, and very long winded tale.

No, the couple were not just simply flirting. They were talking about the new song just released by an artist never heard of by Andre, and they had come to the conclusion that the song was not all that good, but rather enjoyable, but only if you didn't listen to it that much.

~End of Flashback~

Sometimes, one would discover a new song, and would not hesitate to inform the other.

~Flashback~

Beck heard the banging outside of his RV, sometimes he wondered why he gave his girlfriend a key, she never used it, but that was besides the point. He couldn't tell whether it was excited banging, or angry banging, and his eyes nervously flickered towards Robbie, who he was currently working on a project with, while hoping against the latter, because really, he didn't think the curly haired boy would be able to deal with a fully infuriated Jade.

"Beck!"

Oh, good. She was excited. He knew this for definite when she bounded into his RV after he opened the door with him and said, "Beck. Beck! There's this really cool... What is that doing here?"

"Oh, we're working on a project for Helen, she took us for Ma..." He never got to finish his sentence as he was interrupted by an impatient Jade.

"Oh, shut up. I don't need all the details. Anyway, when I was driving home from school, Cat sent me this dumb video of a Cat, I know ironic right? Anyway, I didn't care about the stupid animal, but there was this dope song playing in the background of it, and I needed to find out what it was called. When I got home, I searched FOREVER, and I finally found out what it was, so I need you to to play it, because you gotta hear it."

As Beck stood there, quite dumbfounded to say the least, although he should be used to Jade doing this by now, he was snapped out of his trance by an aggressive "NOW."

"Oh. Um, yeah. What's it called?"

"Crimewave. Crystal Castles. Full volume."

He nodded, searching for the song on his PearPod.

"Um, I don't," Robbie spoke for the first time, rather timidly. "I don't think you should be listening to it on full volume, because full volume against the molecular structure of this recreational vehicle would be too damaging to the hair cells in your cochlea, therefore causing eventual hearing..." He had started off more forcefully this time, but his voice had dwindled down to a mere whimper after being on the receiving end of one of Jade's best death glares, and he sat down, staring at the ground.

"You're alright Rob, man up," said Beck laughing a little. "I think you'll enjoy this song."

And he did. And of course, so did Beck, because usually whatever Jade enjoyed, so did he.

~End of Flashback~

Now Jade was singing at him down the phone. This had happened a lot in the period of time he had been dating her, receiving a phone call from her sometime around 3am, when she couldn't be physically with him for whatever reason. Today, it was because she had a song stuck in her head and couldn't remember what the name of it was.

"It goes like... um, when your silver is your gold, oh oh oh."

"Wait! What is that song?"

"I don't know, dipchiz, that's what I was asking you."

"Midnight Love."

"Yes! Who sang it again? Wait, Girl in Red?"

"Yes."

"Finally, this has been bugging me all day."

"Mhm. You're singing voice is beautiful. Do more," he muttered sleepily.

At the other end of the phone, Jade blushed, but thankful he couldn't see her, she said, "You already knew that."

"Of course I did. Now sing, Jadey."

Deciding to grant his request and ignore the nickname, she sang the first song that came into her head.

I can't seem to focus
And you don't seem to notice
I'm not here
I'm just a mirror
You check your complexion
To find your reflection's all alone
I had to go

Beck joined in at this point, and eventually they both fell asleep to the sound of each other's voices, and reveling in how good their music taste really was.

Ok, so I don't own any of the songs mentioned, or the lyrics. Or of course Victorious.
The last song is My Future By Billie Eilish, if any of you care. It was only released last Thursday, and it's amazing. (Or maybe I'm just biased, but whatever all of her songs are amazing.)

I like people giving me suggestions for stories.

I never said there was a point to this, but even a one word review would be nice. :) ~E
