Hey, I have to rewrite this whole chapter as my laptop completely messed it up, as Agirlthatisinlockdownmode2020 kindy pointed out, so here we are at 11pm writing out the exact same thing I did last night, just for you all.
So, I better get a review, either on this chapter or the next.
~Alarm~
"So, what time do we need to set the alarm for school tomorrow?"
"Beck, it's Saturday tomorrow."
"Oh. So I turn it off then?"
"No. You leave it on so we get up at the right time to brush our teeth."
"Oh. Ok."
"No! Beck, why would I want to wake up at 7am on the weekend?"
"I'll turn it off now."
"Quicklyyy. I'm cold."
Switching the small digital clock off, he scrambled into his bed beside her, and pulled her close into him, burying his face into her soft hair while she buried hers into his chest. They both fell into a peaceful sleep.
Until they were woken up.
A loud beeping was sounding around the RV quite obnoxiously. Waking immediately, quite annoyed at this unwelcome disturbance, the couple began searching for the cause of it.
Eventually, Beck emerged, clutching the small beeping thing tightly. Obviously, he didn't turn it off quite quickly enough for Jade's liking as she snatched it out of his hand and drowned it in his unwashed fish tank, stopping the noise effectively.
Laying down flat on her back, exhausted and out of breath, she was soon joined by Beck.
"Well, that's the third destroyed alarm clock this month," Beck spoke.
"Not my fault you're so incompetent at life you can't even turn off an alarm properly. Anyway, why don't you just use your PearPhone like a normal person?"
"I like to stay traditional."
"Traditional," mocked Jade.
Suddenly, Beck burst out laughing.
"At... least... at least... we know... when... to brush.. our teeth..."
And there was Jade laughing too. And as suddenly as the laughing fit had started, a yawning one started soon after.
"We should get back to sleep," Beck stated.
"Smartest thing you've said in a while," muttered Jade, snuggling in close to him again, as he did the same.
She had been awoken, way too early for a Saturday, but at least she was safe and warm here in Beck's arms.
Maybe, it was't so bad to be awake at 7am, she thought as she breathed in his comforting scent. Even if it was because of her boyfriend's inability to turn off an alarm.
Ok, I'm glad I have that done. Hopefully it works this time. I won't be uploading a chapter 6 tonight for obvious reasons, but thank you for reading.
