Chapter 12: All Through The Night! Lightning Does Strike Twice! Introducing Eagle Astra!
"Trevor, not again!" Kaz shouted, taking his Chaotic cards from the curious, hungry Troublemeyer.
"I spent a lot of money on these cards, Trevor! They're very special to me!"
He stared at Trevor, who was about to put a holographic Chaor card in his mouth.
Kaz snatched it away from Trevor, whilst Trevor smiled sheepishly.
"Especially that holographic Chaor!"
Trevor rubbed behind his head, smiling a little bit sheepishly still.
"Sorry, dude... I'm just hungry."
Kaz walked off, frowning.
"Then eat food, not someone's precious Chaotic cards."
Zazdan, the Zone Cop version of Kaz, was next to be sent out by the Zone Cops.
This menace to society was his division's sniper, and was perched up on a building...
And was going to snipe out all the Milky Squad.
One by one.
What a wild man...
And a definite villain.
He pulled the butt off the sniper rifle with his teeth, as he reloaded, and looked through the scope.
Right there was...
His main-verse counterpart, Kaz Kalinkas.
He was about to pull the trigger...
Kaz was minding his business, looking at his Chaotic cards...
And barely noticed the bullet coming.
However, his heart burned with an orange light...
Taking out the bullet with a pillar of an orange transformation light!
This absolutely shocked Zazdan, as he almost dropped his sniper rifle in shock.
How did Kaz's heart know he was about to get shot and killed?
And how did he transform that quickly?
Zazdan leapt down from the building, letting off a puff of flame.
He smiled, as he approached the light...
"The Milky Squad member of lightning from the astral realm! Now let's get chaotic! Eagle Astra!"
Kaz, now christened as Eagle Astra, posed, as the rest of the Milky Squad rushed over, realizing what was going on.
Hikaru, Lala, Eric, Trevor and Peyton all transformed into their own forms, as they all let off their own transformation sequences, speeches and poses.
It only took under three seconds in real time, but Zazdan was confused... and peeved off nonetheless.
He pulled out his knife, rushing towards the group in a crazed hurry.
[CUE - BRONSKI BEAT - SMALL TOWN BOY]
The group rushed off towards him with super speed, as they clashed punches, kicks and weapons in the heat of the battle.
And Zazdan... was getting bloodthirsty!
He grabbed at Hikaru's kicking leg, and was about to take a bite out of it, when...
"That's enough!" Eagle Astra started, holding his halberd in front of him.
"You don't just eat little 14 year old girl's legs, 'ya piece of poop!"
Zazdan pulled away from Hikaru's leg, smiling awkwardly, and then Hikaru slapped him.
Zazdan yelped like a struck dog.
Eagle Astra frowned, his eyes glowing a VERY bright pink.
"You fight me now!"
He raised up his halberd, as it started sparking with electricity.
"Uh oh." Zazdan said, as the rest of the Milky Squad glared at him.
"I bring forth, a storm from the astral realm! Astra... Strike!"
Eagle Astra thrust the halberd forward like a spear, electrocuting Zazdan as he yipped like a struck dog again, and then fell to the ground, steaming.
Eagle Astra spit on Zazdan, before turning back to normal.
The rest of the Milky Squad followed suit.
Trevor walked with Kaz.
"Dude, I'm sorry I tried to eat your Chaotic cards. I was just... hungry, bro."
Kaz, looking away for a moment, grunted angrily.
Then reconsidered.
"Okay, okay. I understand, it's just... cards aren't that edible, plus they're very important to me, Trevor."
Trevor smiled a bit.
"And maybe I gotta learn to not value material things over people."
Trevor looked up, smirking.
"Yeah, you should, dude, just sayin'."
As for Zazdan...
Since Zazdan didn't succeed, he got his badge taken away from him as well, as well as fired from the Zone Cop force...
He went a little more off-kilter as usual, as he went on a crime spree, basically straight up murdering people and cannibalizing them (how child-unfriendly!)
He was arrested on those factors, plus attemped rape, and got sent to the highest security asylum they could offer.
Zazdan cackled as he violently hit the padded cell with his head.
"Blood blood blood blood..." He cackled.
At least he thought he was having fun.
