Bzzzzzt… bzzzzzt…

"Ugh…" Craig slowly sits up, his hat sliding off his head and onto his bed. He rubs his forehead, "When… Did I fall asleep..?" He looks to his phone to see it's vibrating. He picks it up and answers, "What?"

"Hey dude," Token's voice answers, "Just checking you ain't dead or something.

"No?"

"Okay well just after what happened last night we wanted to make sure you were alright. Also usually you meet us outside so we can all walk to school and today you didn't, so… Just seemed a little weirder considering the circumstances, and…"

Craig pinches the bridge of his nose. "Token, slow down. I just woke up."

"Oh. Soooo you coming to school or nah?"

Craig looks at his clock. 7:45.

"Do I have to?"

"Well I'm not your mom."

"Whatever, fine. I'll meet up with you guys later. Just need to get ready."

"See ya soon then, dude."

Beep. Craig gets off his bed and checks the camera. Running for nine hours… and no SD card. Great. He turns the camera off and pulls off his shirt. A presence watches him, unseen by the eye.

He pulls on a shoe and grumbles about not having time to eat any breakfast. He grabs his hat and his backpack and heads out the door. He plugs in and scrolls for some music. The presence continues to follow up until he meets up with his friends.

Craig feels a weird warmth in his body and turns his head to look behind him. Hm. Nothing. He pulls at the collar of his jacket in a lazy attempt to let the brisk air cool his skin.

"Hey man!"

"YOU'RE ALIVE!"

Craig pulls out an earbud out and pulls up a hand in an attempt to wave.

"So how was the rest of your night?" Token asks his olive skinned friend.

"Eh. I think I passed out around after you guys left. I did set up a camera but I forgot a damn SD card. But I had a weird dream."

"Oh tell it, bro!" Clyde chimes in.

"Was it a scary one?" Token asks.

"... I don't really know."

The trio head up the school steps.

"It was very weird. I was still playing with the board and ended up talking to this guy. A demon or whatever, I dunno. There was a knock at the window and I went to check it out. I turned around and there he was."

"... What did it do?"

"It was holding the board thingy."

"Planchette."

"Yeah that. He started speaking gibberish and broke the thing in half. Then he spoke some cryptic shit."

"Damn dude… You sure you're not actually haunted?"

"Nah. I woke up this morning and there wasn't shit. I haven't watched the playback on the camera yet but I bet 99% of it is just me sleeping."

The three head into their maths class and take their seats.

"Well if it helps I had a dream about pirates."

"Didn't help but thanks for telling me I guess." He starts to doodle on his paper. He had… Very messy hair. Yeah. His eyes were just like goats eyes with the sideways pupils. He had sharp teeth that stretched out into a sinister smile. His hands looked like they had claws on them. And then the wings. The enormous wings that seemed ready to wrap around him like a vampire's cape and nab him away.

"Ok class!" The teacher's chipper voice calls to the students, "I hope you've gotten all your morning questions all answered." She points to the board. Three questions involving the triangle geometry formula. Demonstrate your work in bold letters under the two triangles.

"I'll grab them from your desks in a moment, and then we will start today's assignment. But first I would like to introduce to you all a new student!"

Craig goes back to his doodle. What else… What else… Did he have a tail? He probably did.

"This is pretty exciting, we don't usually get any visitors in this town," she motions to the door, "Come on in, young man."

What else… did he remember?

The squeaking of shoes and weird distressed sounds pulls Craig from his doodle. He looks up and freezes. Standing in front of the chalkboard was a twitchy blond. His hair looked as if it was pulled on and never seen the presence of a hairbrush. He was fidgeting and shaking a bit.

Craig looks to his drawing and back to the boy. Didn't help that the triangles behind his head made it look like horns. It just wasn't helping this kid's case.

"Go ahead and introduce yourself!"

"... T-Tweek!" The boy squeaks out, "My name is Tweek!"

"Go sit next to Mr. Craig Tucker over there and we shall get started!"

"Hrgh, okay…!"

He hurries over to the empty desk and takes a seat. As he does so, Craig hasn't torn his eyes away from the new kid. That warmth was back. He felt himself sweat. He unzips his jacket.

"Are you staring at me…?"

Craig snaps out of it and notices he was still staring at the weird boy.

"No." Craig simply says.

"Why are you staring at me? Do I look funny? Is there something on my face?" He starts to pull at his hair, "Oh god I must look so stupid-"

"Uh no… You're just…" Craig pauses, "... Nevermind."

"What do you mean 'I'm just'?"

"Dude, nothing." He's gonna be annoying, I can tell.

"What?"

"I said nothing."

"Agh then why don't you stop staring at me!"

Horns… Tail… Wings… Eyes…

"I don't want any trouble, man! Just mind your own business!" Tweek keeps pulling at his hair.

"O...k." Craig pulls up his phone.

"So he freaks you that badly, huh?"

Token and Craig go down the lunch line to pick up some food. Token picks up a burrito as he talks. "It's not like you to be scared of, well, anything."

"Okay like freaked out wasn't the best way to put it." He grabs a burger, "But there's something weird about him."

"Like what?"

"He's very twitchy, and so far he's been in all my classes."

"Oh shit, all of them? Maybe it's just a coincidence."

"Yeah sure I can get behind that but… There's something familiar about him."

"Familiar?"

The two sit at a table with Clyde and Jimmy who are both just inhaling their lunch trays.

"He's the weirdest guy I've seen here in a while."

"Have you seen him before or something?"

Craig thinks back to the doodle, "... No. Maybe. I dunno. You know that dream I had?" Tweek walks up behind Craig, fidgeting with no tray in hand. "He kinda like… He kinda reminds me of…"

"... Hey."

Craig turns, "... Oh. It's you again."

Tweek wrings his hands nervously, "Yeah. Hey. Um. I just… I wanted to apologize! I probably came off as rude or something, earlier… I just get nervous when people stare at me!" He starts pulling at his hair again, "I think they hate me, or, or I don't know, maybe they wanna beat the shit out of me– I'm new here, man, I don't wanna get into a fight on my first day, hgghghgh! I'm just saying sorry because I don't want any beef or anything! And everybody is avoiding me too, probably because I'm fucking weird, I don't know! I was wondering if I could sit with you guys because, hhh… I don't know! You're the only one I've talked to so far…"

Tweek is met with a blank face who seems to be slooooowly processing what everything Tweek just said.

"Oh god I'm so sorry! I'm-"

"Dude I can't think that fast give me a fucking minute to process everything you just said."

"Oh god I'm rambling all over the place again am I!? Fuck, I'm so fucking sorry-"

Craig gets up and puts his hands on Tweek's shoulders, shutting him up. "Dude. Chill."

Tweek stares at him in slight fear. His right eye was twitching like crazy.

Craig let's go of him and sits back down. "Whatever. Do what you like."

"T-thank you!"

"Sit next to Clyde or something."

Tweek complies and plops right next to the brunette. Almost immediately, Clyde started happily talking to the blond about anything and everything, mostly on TV shows and cartoons. Tweek was getting very confused but he seemed to be listening as best as he can.

As Clyde talks, Craig notices that Tweek's shirt was buttoned very wrong. Did he dress himself in the dark or while drunk? Aside from that, he was getting such a weird vibe from him.

He looks so similar to the demon in his dream. But the demon seemed so aggressive and assertive. Tweek was… Not. Anxious, jumpy, twitchy. Then again he was too focused on the demon to notice its… quirks. He fiddles with one of his snake bites with his teeth.

"... Eh, hell to it. Hey… Tweek right?"

Clyde stops talking and the two look to Craig.

"Yes! What? What's wrong?"

"Are you a demon or something?"

Tweek is taken aback and seems to start to panic, "A WHAT?!"

"A demon?" Clyde questions.

"HHHHJ H? ?"

"Whoa, Craig," Token interjects, " just right off the bat?"

"OH GOD AM I BEING THAT WEIRD?" Hair pulling again. "I knew it was a mistake sitting over here! No wonder everybody was looking at me weird– You must all think I'm some sort of FREAK or somethingghffhghhhfdh–"

Clyde throws an arm around the panicking boy's shoulders, "Hey, hey, Tweek, it's okay!"

"HHHGFHJHJFHJGDGD? ?"

"Craig, look– Tweek's cool!" He gives Tweek a pat, "He's a little jumpy and funny, but he and I were just having a heartfelt conversation about what kind of anime he likes to watch. Demons hate anime! Trust me bro, I know!"

"Uhuh…" Craig starts. "Did he contribute to this conversation at all, or did you just talk about the anime you like."

"I mean I had to warm him up, he's a little shy, but–"

The cafeteria falls into darkness. People yell out in surprise and start to talk amongst each other.

Tweek's pupils seem to constrict into pure terror. "Oh man oh god oh man oh god!"

"Did the power just go out?"

"Agh! It's been storming all day, the wind probably knocked something over!"

Token tilts a brow at Tweek.

"D-d-does that mean we get to go home early?" Jimmy asks.

"How did the weather get so bad so quickly?" Craig takes probably the only bite of his burger.

"Hey yeah, wasn't it supposed to just be kinda cloudy today?" Token asks the blue hat man.

"What, did you check the weather or something? God you're so boring Token."

"Wow, okay, you're one to talk–"

The darker skinned boy is interrupted by a strange voice over the intercom.

"╬╒ ╬╬╬■ ■ ╬╬╬ ╧╧╬ ╬ ╒ ╬╬ ╬ ╬ ╧ ╧ ╬ ■ ╬ ■ ╬ ╒ ╬ ╬ ╬"

"Oh god what is that?! WHAT IS THAT?!" Tweek cries, panic rising higher and higher than ever.

"It's the intercom, dude," Craig grabs a shoulder of Tweek's as he watches the intercom, making the blond squeak in said terror, "Chill."

"Wait, how is the intercom working if the power is out?" Token asks.

"M-M-M-Maybe they have a generator?" Jimmy answers.

"If they have a backup generator, why would they turn on the intercoms first, idiot." Craig says, "How would they turn on only the intercoms."

"I dunno dude!"

"╬ ■ ╬ ╒ ╬ ╬ ╒ ╬╬ ╬╬O ╬ ■ ■ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╧ ╧ ╬ ╬ ╬╬TT╬╬╬╬╬╬╬╬╬ HH╬╬╬╬╬╬╬╬ L╬╬╬ A╬╬╬╬╬╬╧ ╧ ╬ ╬"

"WHAT DO WE DO?!" Tweek wiggled away from Craig's hand.

Token tries to calm the flipping out boy. "Dude, it'll be okay. Haven't you ever been in a power outage before?"

"I DON'T KNOW!H!H!HHHJHHJ!" Hair pulling.

A distorted yet distinctly British tone breaks through the noise. "╬ ╬ ╬ T╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ AA╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ LL╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬L ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬Y ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ HH╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬O╬ !╬ !"

"I think w-w-w-we should go check it out." Jimmy says.

"What do you expect us to see?" Craig snickers, "A fucking ghost or something?"

"╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╧╧╧╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╧ ╬ ╬"

"Haven't you been going on about demons like, all day, dude?" Token questions Craig.

"Yeah okay but for real though."

"I thought you were being real–"

"No shut up."

"Well…" Token stands up, "I still think it'd be a good idea to go and check what's going on? Some teacher, or someone… should have came over by now."

" ╬ ╬ ■ ╒╬ ╬╬ ╧ ■ ╧ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╧ ╒╒╒╒ ╬ ■ ■ ╬"

"Do we have to?"

" ╬ ╬╬ ■ ╬■ ╧ ╬ ■ ╬ ■ ╬ ╧ ■ ╧ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╬ ╧ ╧ ╬ ■ ╬ ■ ╬ ╒ ╒ ╒"

"I mean, maybe we can figure out why the speakers are freaking out so much."

"Mmmmmmm…" Craig gets up reluctantly, "Fine." He turns on his phone light and the five boys start walking out of the cafeteria and into the halls. Yup. Just as dark as the cafeteria. "Okay, great, this is a shocker. Who would have guessed we'd see nothing but pitch black nothingness."

Token looks out one of the hall windows. "It's so dark out… How bad is this storm gonna get?"

"Man, I don't know. I'm not a weather channel, dude."

"Hey, hey Craig," Clyde pokes Craig's back, "If we go home early today, we should hang out at your place."

"If it's gonna end up like last night, I'd rather not."

"What? Why not, I thought it was fun!"

"I think Craig's just scared of summoning another 'demon.'" Token snickers a little.

Craig simply eye rolls. "Yeah, okay, whatever you say.

"Oh hey, speaking of–" Clyde looks to Tweek, "Hey Tweek, I still don't think you're a demon or anything." Tweek can't see it but Clyde is giving him a wide smile. "You should hang out with us more." He gasps, "OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD COME OVER TO CRAIG'S WITH US TODAY."

"Okay cool I guess we're all just inviting ourselves to my house again."

"What!" Tweek yelps, "You guys hate me though! In fact, I should– I should just go!" Tweek scurries off but is grabbed by Clyde.

"Wait, no, dude! Where did you get that idea, bro?"

"If you're talking about Craig, he's just a weirdo," Token says. "Especially today. Don't worry, you'll get used to him." He thinks on that for a second, "... Or he'll get used to you."

Tweek makes a pitiful "Hhhhh…"

"We can all chill and play something casual tonight."

"Literally, I never said you guys could come over." Craig reinstates.

"Yeah, but we're gonna anyways bro," The brunette pats the jet hair's back, "so you might as well just accept it."

"I don't like how dark and quiet everything is…!" Tweek yelps, "Why are we going this way again?

"We never said you had to come, dude."

"No I know, but…"

The intercom stops making it's sounds and they hear a clear, "Tally-ho there, old friends!"

The group look up to find a lit up figure in a red jacket, a hat and a big bowtie. He gives them a cheery smile.

Craig stares at him with a shocked look. "Wait…"

"It is indeed!" He pips. He hops up and down in joy, "Been quite a while since I've seen all of you, hasn't it!"

"Dude…" Clyde breathes.

"W-w-w-we thought you died!" Jimmy exclaims.

"Yeah, like…" Token thinks for a moment, "YEARS ago…"

"And you'd be correct, ol' chaps!" He chips.

"Wait, are you okay?"

"DUDE," Clyde exclaims, "did you do the thing where, like, you died and someone brought you back to life like REALLY SOON AFTER and then maybe you moved away or something for a long time or like–"

"Oh, no need for any concern, trust me!" He clasps his hands together, "None of that happened, none at all. You see, a lot has happened in the years that I've been gone! I see a lot has happened for you lot as well." He closes his eyes, "But for me…" His eyes snap open to show ruby hues flare up, " ╬Years in hell can do a number on you, it can! ╬"

He giggles. The intercoms start to speak as he speaks. "Oh, it's just so lovely to see you all! Where are all of the others? I'd love to have one great big reunion!" He slowly starts to get closer, "Though it could hardly be called a reunion, now would it? I'd be the only one returning! Or, wait, no… There are others that would love to see you all, I'm sure of it!" He giggles again, "I'm sure they're already here, and you barely know it!" He is near Craig's face, his grin widening, "Thanks to you and your curiosity, you've let open a portal from hell, right in your very own bedroom! Isn't that just splendid? Everybody who wants to come and see you simply just… can now! Oh, I'm sure you all know this already, I'm just so excited I can't stop myself from talking! And I'm sure you're excited too now, aren't you all?" He grabs Craig's shoulders, "Oh, and you can finally apologize for all of the terrible, terrible things you've done to me as a child! And I'm here to say, my fellow friend, I would wholeheartedly accept! There's no need to ramble on, either. Just a simple apology I believe is in order."

Craig just stares, wide eyed. "Uh…"

"Don't be shy now, there's no need to hesitate! You and all of your friends are sorry, are you not?"

"Uhhhhhh…"

"You can take your time. Or if you think I don't deserve it, that's fine too!" His smile doesn't drop, "It's okay if you're not sorry. I still forgive you. Or maybe you forgot me, too?" His red eyes seem to grow darker, but that smile still didn't drop. "Don't worry about that either, old friend! I'm used to people forgetting about me!"

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…"

"Oh, I know this must be quite jarring, but really, everything is fine! I'm not here to hurt any of you!" He puts a hand to his chest, "And that comes straight from my heart, it does. I could do so many unimaginable things to you all now, but I would never have it in my heart to do so!" The speakers crack and sizzle as he talks.

"Okay, um, you know what," Token pulls Craig away from the boy, "I'm gonna take some initiative here and– FUCKIN' BOOK IT"

Token runs for the hills with Craig, Clyde and Tweek in tow.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA" Clyde screams to the Brit as they run, "I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I MEAN IT I'M SORRY FOR ALL THE MEAN THINGS I DIDDDDDDDDDDDDD!"

Token drags Craig behind him, "Dude, Craig, do you mind actually running with us?!"

The boy is very stunned. "Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…"

"Oh my god, dude, come on!"

Token says: FUCK THIS

He kicks down the door and the boys keep on running.
