Chapter 13: If You Need A Friend! Introducing Dove Angelic!
Zugene sharpened his scythe, and then wiped it off, making it all shiny and new again.
It shone in the light, as he cackled slightly.
"Time to chop off some heads of some children!" He chuckled, holding the scythe threateningly to the "camera".
Even the cameraman was afraid.
Eugene was tinkering with one of the Confiscated Weapons Room's weapons, when Hikaru came into the room, startling Eugene.
"Hikaru, you should have at least knocked. I approximately almost dropped the Neutralizing Melodramatizer 3000, so you almost killed me."
Hikaru awkwardly smiled, shrugging a bit.
"Sorry, Eugene. Just wanted to see if you were doing glitterific."
Eugene leaned an elbow on the table next to him.
"Oh, I am doing just fine, young Hoshina. But again, I differentiate and articulate this point to you... to just flipping knock next time."
Plato peeked in through the doorway.
"Hey. Meltsner."
Eugene looked up, brushing the hair out of his eyes, glaring at Plato from behind his thick-lensed glasses.
"Yes, Aristotle?"
"We're going to have a meeting soon. Are you coming?"
Eugene nodded.
"Affirmative, just give me one indistinguishable moment."
Eugene had an hour to get home.
If he didn't make it, Connie would probably strangle him to death, or something to that effect.
It was late, and the Milky Squad meeting had gone late, as well.
And Eugene was tired.
And really, really peeved off.
He wiped the hair out of his glasses, and away from his baby blue eyes.
He really wanted to sleep.
Yes.
Sleep was good.
But he didn't have much time to think about it, because...
He felt something poke at his neck.
He looked around in a panic, and then locked eyes with...
Another him?
"Hello, Meltsner." The other him said in a deep, raspy voice.
The rest of Odyssey could hear Eugene's screams.
"And why should we care about Eugene?" Socks asked Harvey.
Harvey looked around nervously.
"You know that Christians are always homophobic." Socks stated in a "mechanics always tamper with the car battery" kind of way.
Cosmo, adjusting his sunglasses, leaned back and made a "are you kidding me?" kind of gesture.
"Christian or not, he's part of the team, is he not?"
Socks frowned.
"I honestly think he should probably get his head chopped off by that scythe wielding maniac, to be honest."
Peyton leaned on the kitchen counter.
"Are you kidding? Did you see how he fought Lala? Guy can handle himself, no worries."
Socks scoffed in response to his lover.
"You've actually seen the battle, Socks. The guy with the scythe can kiss his own life goodbye." Peyton continued, ignoring his boyfriend's scoff.
Socks rolled his eyes.
"Whatever."
As Eugene fought with his evil Zone Cop counterpart, Zugene, Eugene realized how tired he was getting.
Eugene, as we saw earlier in the story, could fight a Pretty Cure pretty well, because he had the power of God and Anime on his side...
But his own self, from another dimension?
Eugene was up to his ears in this battle, and was getting real exhausted due to that.
Zugene was just too good.
As Eugene was about to drop dead from exhaustion onto the concrete, a golden light glowed in his heart...
And erupted from him, transforming him.
Eugene raises his fist like a protestor, and yells "Peace of a Dove! Dove Angelic, Activate!"
And then, Eugene's Dove Device appears on a white and golden background, and then he slashes his Dove Card across the device, making the Adventures in Odyssey logo appear on screen, as white and golden rose petals sweep across the screen.
Eugene's body is covered by a golden light. Then the rose petals cover Eugene, turning into a golden armor-like covering.
He starts to spin (ala Sailor Moon in Moon Prism Power) as his whole body is covered in the golden armor-like covering.
His hair becomes longer, ties itself into a ponytail, and turns white.
Eugene sweeps his arms back, as the golden armor-like pieces on his arms and body disappear, changing into his jacket and gloves, as white feathery wings sprout from his back (ala Cure Earth from Healing Good).
Then, Eugene flies through the air (ala Cure Parfait), as his shoes and pants appear, as well as little white wings on the sides of his shoes.
A collar appears around his neck, as he flies up to the sun, the lens flare looking like Christian crosses.
After this, his eye color changes to gold, his belt appears, and his glasses disappear.
At last, his Dove Device and Card turns into a golden spear, as he does his speech and pose.
"The Angelic Holy Light of the Milky Squad! Dove Angelic!" Eugene, now christened as Dove Angelic shouted.
Zugene was taken aback by the sudden transformation.
"Wh-What?" He stammered, holding his scythe close to himself.
"How were you able to do that?"
Dove Angelic smirked.
"I have the power of God and Anime on my side."
He punched Zugene out, and then...
He twirled his spear, thrusting it upwards.
"Bring down God's wrath upon the sinful! ANGELIC THRUST!"
Zugene screamed as a big pillar of light fell down upon him.
"...And that, per se, is how I've transformed, rather unusually, into a magical boy." Eugene stated to the rest of the Milky Squad.
Kaz smiled, shaking his hand.
"Gonna kick some major butt as Dove Angelic, then?"
Eugene looked shy.
"I... uh... affirmative."
He rubbed behind his head, sweatdropping nervously.
How was he gonna explain the fact that he was a magical boy to Whit and Connie without getting kicked out of Odyssey?
