Chapter 16: A Decision of Morality! Eagle Compass Finally Rises!
It was a peaceful day in the universe, as the Milky Squad was just relaxing, and taking breaks from their regular magical girl and boy superheroing.
Socks seemed happy, as he was daydreaming about Peyton, looking wistfully at the air, cartoon hearts floating around his head in that cartoony way.
Harvey and Vinnie seemed to notice.
"I think he's glad he's got a boyfriend." Harvey started, smiling wide.
Vinnie nodded, chuckling.
"Even though you tried to run him down with your car?"
Harvey looked offended.
"Oh-kay, besides that!"
Vinnie nodded, smiling a cocky smile.
"I dunno... he kinda looks like you. Maybe you're protecting- I mean projecting onto him?"
Harvey frowned.
"Maybe I am."
Vinnie patted him on the shoulder.
"There 'ya go. Problem solved. Don't go batguano insane on people's boyfriends, 'ya jackbutt."
He then walked off, leaving Harvey alone to stare at Socks.
Lala called everyone in for a meeting later that day.
"Milky Squad! We got a problem, lun!"
Socks snorted.
"I know the problem, it's the fact that Eugene can't keep his hands outta the freezer."
He looked at Eugene, who looked away, as Socks mumbled about Eugene "stealing all the ice cream".
Lala looked displeased.
"Besides that."
Socks perked up.
"Oh, uh! Sorry."
Lala pointed at the board, as Plato turned it on.
"The Byogens have been threatening us!"
Kaz raised up his hand.
"Byo-what?"
Lala sighed.
"Eugene, explain."
Eugene nodded, as he started explaining who the Byogen were.
"Sure."
He cleared his throat, adjusting his shirt collar.
"The Byogens are the lead villains in the dimension of Healin' Good Pretty Cure. Their consideration is to reconstitute King Byogen by spreading diseases counterclockwise of the superabundant planet they live on via MegaByogen. King Byogen has unambiguously battled the PreCure of that dimension before, but lost to them, and the three generals all familiarized themselves of the PreCure's existence. Their chancellery are known as "The Byogen Kingdom"."
Eric tilted his head.
"So... basically... magical Coronavirus?"
No one knew what Eric meant, as they were all from before 2020.
"Anyways, so these guys are gonna infect the world with viruses, huh?" Peyton asked.
"And our dimension if we don't stop 'em, lun!" Lala stated.
Kaz nodded, rubbing his chin.
"Noted."
Lala nodded.
"Also, we will be meeting up with the Cures of this dimension on the way there."
Socks smiled.
"Great! Good. Sounds great." He clasped his hands.
"Hope they realize we're magical boys and girls too."
Eugene rolled his eyes.
"I wouldn't doubt it."
Peyton rolled his eyes.
"Shut it, Dexter's Laboratory."
Eugene pushed up his glasses in a huff.
So, they are met in the Healin' Good dimension by the Healin' Good PreCure.
Nodoka Hanadera, who was Cure Grace.
Chiyu Sawaizumi, who was Cure Fontaine.
Hinata Hiramitsu, who was Cure Sparkle.
And the recently born Asumi Fuurin, who was Cure Earth.
They all met each other, fistbumping, until Asumi got to Eugene.
She smiled as he reached for a fistbump.
"I really don't like you." She said, with a warm smile.
Eugene wasn't shocked.
"I concur, I don't like myself, either."
Asumi didn't have the heart to tell him what she sensed was...
Off... about him.
Maybe later. Asumi thought.
When they were walking down the street, they were talking about their lives, and what they were like right now.
"-And that's how we got a full Zone Cops division fired." Kaz finished, recalling the story of the previous chapters.
"We haven't had a run in with any Zone Cops yet..." Chiyu started, smiling a bit.
"But they sound like they don't know what they're doing."
Lala shook her head.
"Some of them do, some of them don't."
"All are a big pile of poop, anyways, dudette." Trevor responded.
Lala nodded, imagining Zodoka, Zinata, Zhiyu and Zasumi.
"You're right, Trevor. I don't even think those uniforms work with anyone's bodies past 1994, anyways."
Suddenly...
They were ambushed by all three of King Byogen's original generals, Daruizen, Shindoine and Guaiwaru.
"What?!" Lala shouted.
"This wasn't supposed to happen until the end of the season!"
The Generals didn't know what she meant, but continued to gloat anyways.
So in response, they all transformed.
They did their speeches and their poses, as they then leapt into action.
[CUE - TELL IT TO MY HEART - TAYLOR DAYNE]
Dove Angelic spread his wings, and posed, doing a "come on" gesture with his hand to Guaiwaru.
"Let's dance, you big clumsy oaf."
Guaiwaru charged at him, as Angelic tripped him, and punched him in the mouth, knocking out his right upper canine.
Angelic chuckled.
"I'll be keeping this."
Guaiwaru hissed, his right eye twitching, as Angelic flew up in the sky, divebombing him like a bird, a trail like a plethora of doves appearing behind him.
"Angelic Dive!" Dove Angelic shouted.
The light doves divebombed Guaiwaru, leaving trails of light and cutting at Guaiwaru with their light construct wings.
Guaiwaru got a cut across his eye, yelling in pain.
While the Healing Good Cures were dealing with Daruizen, Cure Star was protecting Tom, and was fighting Shindoine one on one.
Cure Star, getting frustrated, threw the knife she had stashed on the side of her Precure outfit at Shindoine.
Shindoine paused, as she coughed a bit.
And then...
Shindoine pulled the knife from her chest, cackling evilly.
"Oh, please. Was that supposed to hurt?~"
Cure Star was taken aback.
"Oh... that wasn't supposed to happen." She softly stated, before Shindoine threw the knife at her, barely missing her and making Cure Star shout in horror.
She looked behind her...
The knife was coming for Tom.
But a grey light shone in his heart.
And a grey pillar of light erupted from him, knocking the knife onto the ground, shattering it into pieces.
Tom raises up his fist like a protestor, and yells "Fly like an Eagle! Eagle Compass, activate!"
And then, Tom's Eagle Device appears on a grey background.
And then he slashes his Eagle Card across the device, making the Chaotic logo appear on screen, and then it turns into a bunch of swirling white stars on a red, white and blue background, and then it transitions to the next scene.
Medium grey and white ribbons shoot out of his Device and surround him.
They cover his whole body, as he starts dancing in a style reminiscent of Michael Jackson.
His hair is styled first, growing longer, turning grey, and tying itself into a ponytail.
Tom then claps, making his gloves appear.
He stomps his feet, making his shoes appear, followed by the wings on the sides.
He does a quick spin, as his jacket, shirt and pants appear as the camera flips upside down.
He snaps his fingers as the camera flips right-side up, as a hat (a grey straw hat with a compass-like bow on the right side, which incorporates the symbol on his civilian form's shirt) appears.
His Eagle Card and Device turn into a mace, as he slings it over his shoulder even though it's three times larger then he is.
He does his pose, and his speech.
"The Compass Wheel of Morality! Eagle Compass!"
Tom, now christened as Eagle Compass, smiled, as he tipped his hat.
"Time to go to Hell, Shindoine." He said, his blue eyes glowing with unusual hatred.
Everyone turned, looking at him.
CUE ATTACK SEQUENCE!
Eagle Compass spun his mace around, pounding the flat bottom on the ground.
"The mace of justice comes for all evil! VIRTUE SPIRAL SMASH!"
Compass whacked it right into Shindoine, sending her flying.
Phoenix Meta floated into the air, charging straight at her...
And whacked her into the ground with his hammer.
Shindoine was knocked out.
Phoenix Meta smiled, as he floated down, hi-fiving Eagle Compass.
"Take a sip of that victory lemonade, babes!" Meta shouted, as Compass chuckled.
"I don't know what exactly you mean by that, but still. I agree, dude."
Compass gave a thumbs up.
END CHAPTER SIXTEEN...?
Elena happened upon a portal, leading her to the Milky Squad base.
She walked through it confidently...
And happened to lock eyes with Kyle and Yo, who were doing just the same thing.
Yo waved at Elena.
"Hi blonde haired girl!" She chirped, smiling.
Elena waved back, smiling.
What a nice girl. She thought.
