There were always two of them.
Always.
When they woke up in the morning, there was always two of them. When they drove to school, it was always the two of them. When they went to class, it was the two of them. They would sit beside each other, always the two of them. When they would drive home,they would sit in Beck's RV. Always the two of them. When they went to sleep, they knew they were safe, it was the two of them.
They were a couple. A couple doesn't mean one.
Of course to be in a relationship, they weren't fully dependent on each other, only to a certain extent, they couldn't be for it to function properly.
They loved each other though, and they loved to be with one another.
Just the two of them.
