Altered Code Xana Episode 28: Relative

Please read my episodes, 53-119 plus the OVA of Code Lyoko to know what is going on. Oh and Code Xana the Movie and Episode 1-27

Also, this is because as I re read the series I came up with completely new ideas. Go a different direction/drama/character arcs with the group. To do these faster all Lyoko will be "They go, go to Tower, fight, Sanne barely makes it" as I want to focus on the story and drama. Stupid idea? Yes. But I have too many ideas!

Class

The group sits in class as a new student is introduced. "Class, I'd like to introduce you to Barack Mackenzie, from England."

The new student walks in and waves to the class. His hair is short and curly. He is wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans with white sneakers. He has two earrings in his left ear, one in the lobe that expands it and one up at the top of the ear that is a gold stud.

"Happy to join us I hope."

"Yes ma'am."

"You're from England but we won't hold that against you."

"No worries ma'am my Liverpool Fire Cats will always beat any French team." He laughs a little showing off his perfectly white teeth.

He looks and sees the only open seat is next to Skitz so he sits down next to her.

She is writing in her notebook, mumbling to herself. He notices and looks over at what she is writing. How to make Sanne jealous of Krieger.

He decides this is none of his business and ignores her as she ignores him.

After class the Lyoko group goes to lunch. "So Skitz, say anything to the new kid?" She shakes her head. "Why not?"

"Busy. I have some new ideas."

Mira looks at her and then down the line where Barack is standing. "Really? Not one word?" She shakes her head again making Mira suspicious. "Aw Skitz are you smitten with him?" Mira laughs.

Krieger and Sanne aren't sure what Mira is talking about.

Ark joins Mira's train of thought. "Sis if you're going to fall in love with the new guy you better hope he has good dental. I'd hate to see that smile get broken." Ark and Mira laugh as Ark punches a fist into his open palm.

"That's not, I mean, shut up Ark." Skitz glares at the two.

"I'm only kidding. I know you can take care of yourself."

"What are you two going on about?" Krieger and Sanne are still lost.

"You two are hopeless." Mira rolls her eyes as they get in line for food. "So what do you think we'll get today, greenish soy or yellowish soy?"

Everyone makes a face as they think of what goop the school called food would be served to them for lunch.

When Krieger gets up from the table, Skitz does as well and follows him to a trash can. "Krieger, can we talk? Alone?"

Krieger is caught off guard. "Uh, sure, why?"

She looks back at their table. "I think I have a way of making Sanne confess her feelings for you. It might not work but it could."

Krieger is silent for a second as he processes what she says. "Sanne has made it clear I am just a friend. I'm not trying to kiss her again like you told me to before."

She shakes her head. "No, no kissing her. Instead, well," She stops when another student walks over to dump their trash in the trash can. "Let's talk after class."

Krieger is nervous about what Skitz came up with but wants to know. "In front of the gym."

She nods, and the two walk back to the table.

After Class

When Krieger sees Skitz, she is carrying her own gym bag. "You want to train?"

"Sure, and talk." She gets a smile on her face. "I have the perfect plan."

"I'm sure it is perfect, in your head."

Her smile doesn't fade. "Trust me, it is brilliant."

The two go inside, to the separate locker rooms to change, and come back out to the weight room. "So," Krieger grabs the wrestling mat and starts dragging it across the floor. "What is this brilliant plan of yours?"

Skitz helps and they get it into the regular part of the gym. "Sanne thinks you're always going to be there for her."

"Because I am."

She rolls her eyes. "Duh, of course you are. We're friends, it is what we do for each other. However, because of that, she thinks she can wait." Skitz starts stretching as does Krieger. "What if you didn't wait?"

"I'm not kissing her again."

"No, idiot. I mean don't wait to date. Date someone else. Jealousy is a powerful motivator. She sees you with someone else and makes her own move for you."

Krieger stops in the middle of a stretch. "That... No. It would be mean to the other girl to use her like that."

Skitz stands up straight and does the peace symbol. "Then get a girl who is a part of the plan."

After a second, it clicks. "You? Wait, what?"

"Oh come on. It's perfect. We pretend to date, she gets jealous, and when she makes her move we break up. No hard feelings. I don't know about you but I'm getting bored waiting around for my brother to show up to practice. When Xana isn't attacking we can hang out and make people think we're dating. People like Sanne."

Krieger pauses as he thinks about her plan. "That could work. We're already friends so we have some things in common. People would believe it."

"Exactly!" She does a couple mock punches. "How about we spar? No kicks, just punches. If you beat me I'll pay for our first date. If I win you pay."

Krieger sets his feet. "You think you'll have an advantage if we only do American style boxing?" He raises his fists ready for a fight. "You're on."

As the two spar, a Tower activates.

Sanne calls the others and is surprised to hear Skitz is with Krieger at the gym. "Good, I can't always focus on training since I have the computer stuff."

"That too." Skitz smiles to herself. Her plan would work. Sanne would get jealous and throw herself at Krieger. "We'll be there soon."

Xana attack, group goes, fights, Sanne barely makes it, return is launched

At lunch, Mira and Ark joke about Skitz and the new student again.

Instead of glaring, Skitz smiles. "Why would I date him when I already got another guy?"

This is news to everyone at the table, except Krieger. "Wait, what?" Ark looks around the cafeteria room. "Who?"

"None of your business." She looks at Krieger and winks. "He's a great guy who would make just about anyone jealous."

Mira leans over so she can whisper to Ark. "You don't think she's lying, do you?"

"Hey, maybe she'll relax a bit. I'm all for it."

"Not worried about your sister?"

"Why would I? Dad taught us both street fighting and mom had us take boxing lessons."

When the two pull apart they look at Skitz and wonder who this mystery man is.

Sanne... finishes her lunch as quickly as possible so she can take a couple extra minutes on her Jpocket to work on a program.

A/N A Lyoko show with no Lyoko action? Well, between my originals, full time job, youtube channel(James the Lesser Express Lane) I don't have the free time I'd like to have. So... get the story in, we all know good guys make it even if just barely, and then continue back to the story. Tell me what you think!
