Hey! So, first of all this is just something really silly that I wrote today and I wasn't thinking of posting it but anyways, I hope it makes some of you smile. Huge thanks to my girls Laura, Lo, Maria and Gabie for encouraging me whenever I'm doubting myself, you're amazing and I love you. Hope you have a good reading! - D

Rare are the days she wakes up first. Donna has always been a morning person, and sometimes she would wake up way before she really had to, but ever since she and Harvey got together, she finds it too difficult to leave his embrace. She thinks it's because now she finally has peace and that's why waking up before it's necessary has been so hard for her now. Almost everyday since they got together, he woke up first. Some days, he starts kissing her and she wakes up feeling everything. Some days, she wakes up alone in bed just at the same time he walks to her, bringing a cup of coffee. Today, she opens her eyes and is met with his breath on her neck and his arm tight around her waist. That's when she notices their fingers intertwined and she remembers - not that she forgot, but it was a long night - that they got married last night. Harvey Specter is her husband. The same Harvey Specter that, years ago, said he loved her and then left. The same Harvey Specter that told her he didn't want more. This Harvey Specter is now hers, forever. Well, truth be told, he was hers way before they tied the knot, but now officially, he is hers and she is his. A smile graces her lips and she sighs, feeling him stretching behind her. Donna was about to turn to face her husband when she feels him smiling against her skin, peppering kisses on her bare shoulder and neck.

"Morning, wife" he says in that soft tone that he only uses with her.

"Mmm, morning, husband" she smirks, their new title still so weird but… so right.

"Can't believe we really got married last night" his voice is barely a whisper and is full of emotion. She turns and faces him. Donna is sure Harvey never looked so peaceful. Deep down she knows she's never felt so at peace like that either.

"We did, mister. Too late to run away now" she jokes, because she knows he's never running away. Their relationship through the years has been difficult, but she can feel now that this is forever. It's the best risk they have ever taken.

"No worries, mrs. Paulsen-Specter, I'm never running away" he replies and kisses her. They should be used to kissing each other by now but every time they do it's like fireworks all over their bodies. When they are out of breath, he looks at her with this expression that is hard to read, even for her. "You know that, right?"

"Yes" she whispers, her chest full of love for him. She knows, but still, he wants to make sure she does. "I know, Harvey. Together forever, remember?" they share a smile and, before she kisses him again, she says "I'm not going anywhere either"

"Good" he pulls her closer, Donna rests her head on his chest and he plays with her hair. They stay like that for some minutes, both enjoying their first morning as a married couple. It's different but not much. Like Harvey once said, it felt like they've always been together. "So, I'm making my wife breakfast today, what do you want?"

"Oh, really? Are you gonna bring me breakfast in bed, mr. Specter?" she asks, looking at him and smiling. It's so easy to smile when she's with him.

"Mmm, yes" he kisses her. . And then pecks her face with kisses as she laughs and he does too.

"In that case, I want pancakes" she tries to contain her laughter "With whipped cream and strawberries" she arches her eyebrows at him and he lifts his head from her neck, smiling, amused with how much he loves her.

"Noted, the Specter special then" he kisses her forehead and leaves the bed, looking for his clothes.

"I'd say it is more of a Paulsen-Specter special" she playfully responds and he laughs, agreeing and walking towards the kitchen. Yeah, it took them some time to get here, but if this is how every morning is going to be from now on, Donna knows it was completely worth the wait.
