Yaru had ran after his half brother, Devore, along with the Tom, the rest of the Heroes of the Universe, Kate, Humphrey, Winston, Tony, Garth, and Lilly and looked off into the distance to see three wolves carrying Runt and Jariad."Well," Seelah said."What are we waiting for? We must get them!"
Yaru shook his head."Those wolves are far too gone. We'll have to gather up the Soldiers we have and-"
"With all due respect, Captain," Devore spat that last part out."My son, and their son as well," He pointed to Kate and Humphrey."Are being held captive to a bunch of dirty animals...no offense to any of the wolves here." He said quickly.
"Please," Winston said, not even slightly offended by what he had said."Just wait until tomorrow. You don't know this valley."
"We know this valley," Kate told them.
"This is the rogues. They will have a lot of wolves." Tony warned them.
"This is what they want," Lilly agreed."Lure us to the other side and then attack." Everyone else, obviously not Devore, seemed to agree.
"It doesn't matter." He said, grabbing his lightsaber."I am Sith. I take what I want." Devore then jumped off the ledge they were standing on and they saw that he landed safely, using the Force.
"Well, let's go!" Kate said.
Yaru sighed. Tom could see it in his eyes. It's going to be a long night.
"See what happens when you let your Alpha daughter marry an Omega?" King said to three of his wolves as he looked at Runt. Princess, King's daughter, a grey Alpha, walked over, seeing the tiny pup and...a human baby?
Princess had seen a few human babies whenever humans camped into the forest. This human baby looked no different...except for maybe his eyes...
"And you are?" The grandson of Winston asked.
King seemed offended that the pup did not know his name. Princess knew that her father was always an arrogant one...thinking he would be the best leader of the pack and finding Omega's to be inferior.
"Orginal." Runt rolled his eyes."And let me guess-you're Princess?
She nodded."Yes." The wolf pup certainly had a sense of humor, unlike her.
Runt seemed a little surprised but turned his head back to King."Well, King, don't blame me if you were rejected by my grandpa." King growled, causing Runt to move back a little, scared.
"Father," She interrupted, feeling some pity for the pup."Let me handle him." Princess then took Runt away, grabbing the fur off his back.
Before they had left, Yaru made sure to tell Tony to tell Gloyd and Ravilan that they were in charge. While Gloyd wasn't exactly born to lead, he was almost as strong as the Massassi and at least had some experience. Everyone would listen to Ravilan considering the fact that he was Sith...the original Sith.
Yaru kept looking at the three newcomers. Tom said they came from another planet, to which Yaru believed, but they seemed familiar. And it annoyed Yaru that the one named Illiana Merko kept staring at Seelah...as if she were some goddess...or a liar...
Yaru also made sure to stay suspicious of the Heroes of the Universe as well.
"Are you sure this is a shortcut to Banff?" Kate asked Humphrey.
"Aren't an Omega?" Devore asked as they ran."You should know this."
"Can...we take a...break..." Wheezed the pudgy and overweight human named Grif. They all seemed to ignore him.
"Positive," Humphrey said surely."The omegas used to log board here." Yaru raised a bushy eyebrow. Log board? Was that some game they played for...Christmas?."All we gotta do is get over the stream."
They all then stopped running once they saw a large gap. They looked down to see a stream of mud.
Yaru saw Devore's eyes turn yellow as he turned to the grey omega."I thought you said this was a stream?"
Humphrey smiled nervously."Okay...wrong season..." He said as he looked at the mud stream.
"How are we gonna get across this?" Kate wondered.
"We can fly, you know." Rainbow Dash reminded them, pointing at Luna, Fluttershy, and Twilight's wings."But I don't think we can carry any of you."
"Force push?" Mason asked."Hell, maybe just carry me over there with the Force."
Tom seemed to think for a moment in silence."I guess that could work...here." Tom raised both of his hands and lifted Mason, using the Force.
Mason was shocked."I didn't-" Tom then threw Mason across to the other side.
"Crap!" Tom said once they all saw Mason hit a tree. Tom laughed nervously."Sorry..." Yaru sensed that Tomwas strong in the Force but the Force to Yaru was...different.
Eventually, they got across the gap, also Force carrying Kate and Humphrey over."Thanks." Humphrey said."I would hate to do that vine thing again. I'm getting to old for that."
Later, as they continued walking, it then started to rain. And later on, it started to rain even harder."We need to move on." Kate said.
"She's right." Devore agreed. Suddenly, Yaru looked up to lightning hit one of the big tree branches. The branch fell down near them, thankfully not hitting anyone.
"Kate, we have to wait this out. Come on. Over here." Humphrey said as they hid near a tree.
Devore sighed."Don't worry," Said Seelah."We'll find our baby soon."
Devore didn't look up at her."Who knows what those damn wolves are doing to Jariad?"
Princess was shocked and even a little amazed. Five minutes ago, the human baby, whose name was Jariad, according to Runt, had been screaming and crying, obviously hungry. When one of the rogues, Cotch, was just about to kill the baby when it the small baby used it's hand make the rogue float in the air.
"Whoah!" Runt said, equally shocked."These humans are definitely not from around here!"
Princess nodded in agreement.
"I know what the rogues are planning." Said the white wolf named Lilly. Ravilan Wroth, after checking on his Massassi, looked at her.
"Well," He said."What is it? What's their goal?"
"They want us to send most of our Alphas to find Runt and get trapped by the winter." She explained."Then they'll have another pack-hiding in the fields-attack and destroy our home. The omegas, the betas." She said sadly.
I thought alphas were supposed to be the smart ones.
"Miss," Said the Houk Gloyd. They all looked at him. He was holding a blaster Pistol."You tell me where these rogues are, and I'll blast 'em."
