Shades Of Gray-Ch 1
He smiled and closed his eyes as he squeezed her neck tighter and tighter, she grabbed at his wrists and gasped for air but her struggles ended almost as fast as they began as her eyes closed and she gave in to the darkness. He released his grip and touched her face gently before getting up off of the floor and making his way out the back door.
As he stepped out into the street he looked both ways to make sure that he didn't see anybody before heading up the street toward his parked car, when he slid behind the wheel he smiled and said, "shades of gray, shades of gray". He started the ignition and pulled down his visor and looked at a picture of the BAU team members and said, "this is all your fault, if only you would have backed off and let things happen the way they were suppose to happen, then none of this would be going on now".
The car raced away from the curb and he said, "I'm coming for you and you will all pay, you will all pay", he turned the radio on and started listening to the music as he hit the freeway. He knew that since this was victim number 3 that with no clues left behind the locals would call in the BAU and that was when they would call in the big guns, the BAU and then the real fun would begin.
Meanwhile in Quantico, JJ knocked on the door in front of her, she stepped inside when she heard her bosses voice saying, "come in", she pushed the door open and stepped inside. She handed him a file and said, "we've got a bad one", Hotch looked down at the file and nodded his head yes in agreement, he looked up at her and said, "tell the others I need them in the round table room please JJ".
She said, "on it" and turned around and headed back out of the office and down the stairs that led to the bullpen, she looked at her friends and said, "round table room guys, we've got a bad one". Derek said, "I'll go get baby girl" and he stood up and started walking down the hall toward his wifes lair.
He knocked on the door and smiled as he heard, "enter mere mortal", he opened the door and said, "mere mortal huh"?, she turned around and said, "well hello my chocolate Adonis, what can I do for you"?. he leaned down and kissed her lips passionately and said, "oh you do it just by being you momma".
His hand slid down to her baby bump and said, "how is the little one doing today"?, grinned and said, "fine but he or she is laying on mommas bladder today" as she put her hand on top of Dereks. He kissed her stomach and said, "alright in there, this is your daddy and you need to be good to mommy, so take it easy on her bladder".
He smiled again when his kiss was met with a kick from the baby, he then looked at his wife and said, "round table room goddess, we've got a case", she nodded her head and stood up making sure to grab her things as she intertwined her free hand with her husband as they made their way toward the round table room and their family.
A few minutes later they were grabbing their go bags and heading toward the elevators, Derek stepped in front of his wife and kissed her lips gently and said, "I love you". She wrapped her hand around his neck and said, "I love you to handsome, please be careful", he kissed her lips again and said, "always beautiful, always".
She smiled and waved at her team and said, "be safe crimefighters", they all smiled at her and waved as the elevator doors closed, Penelope sighed and turned around and headed back toward her lair to start on her background searches of the three victims to see if she can help her family find the sickko that was murdering innocent women.
