Shades Of Gray-Ch 4
Derek ran his hand over his head and said, "I've got to go Hotch, man I can't just sit here when he's got my wife", Hotch looked at the team and said, "I'll notify Strauss on the way to the jet and te" and his cell started ringing. He said, "Hotchner", the voice on the other end said, "sir, this is Anderson, she's not here, she's not anywhere in the building".
JJ looked over at Derek as he punched the wall, she said, "we'll get her back Derek", Derek said, "I can't lose them JJ, I can't lose my wife and child", JJ pulled him into her arms and said, "you won't, you won't". Hotch said, "we're on the way to the airstrip now, I need you to get Kevin to cover to Penelope and then have him check the survelience cameras and see if we have any idea where they are",
Anderson said, "yes sir", Hotch looked at his team as they climbed into the SUVs, Derek jumped into one SUV with JJ and Reid and looked out the window and said, "hang on baby girl, we're coming, we're coming". Hotch, Dave and Emily climbed into the other SUV as they all raced away from the scene.
In Virginia Penelope looked over at Danny and said, "w w where are we going"?, Danny looked at her and said, "just turn where I tell you too and maybe just maybe you'll live to see the birth of your brat". Penelope gripped the steering wheel and nodded her head yes in agreement.
It was only a matter of a few minutes before he pointed to the left and said, "turn off right there", she did what she was told and he said, "about 5 miles up their is a dirt road off to the right, turn there and go until the road ends". Penelope was taking in her environment just in case she was able to get away from him.
Danny sighed and watched as they soon pulled up in front of an old half tore down house, he smiled and said, "honeyyyyy we're homeeeeee" as he aimed the gun at Penelope. She said, "p p please don't hurt me", Danny said, "I'm not going to hurt you Penelope, not yet any way" as he climbed out of the car making sure to keep the gun aimed at her as he circled the car.
When he got to the drivers side of the car he yanked the door open and said, "get out", she slid out of the car and her hands went protectively to her stomach. Danny said, "go and keep walking until I tell you to stop", she winced as he pushed her and said, "I SAID GOOOOOOOO", she was afraid what he would do if she didn't so she started slowly walking up the path.
She looked at him and said, "a a aren't we staying here"?, he said, "nope, we're going on ahead about half a mile, I have a place for us, one that nobody will ever be able to find us". What Danny didn't know was that Penelope had been purposely dropping pieces of paper from her pocket, in hopes that Derek and the team would be able to find them.
A few minutes later Danny said, "go right in there" and he pointed to a cave and she said, "I I I'm not going in there", Danny put the gun to her stomach and said, "I killed my brother do you think I'd hesitate to kill you and this brat"?, she shook her head and said, "o o okay, I'll go, I'll go, just please, please don't hurt me".
Danny walked in behind her and grabbed the flashlight that he had left and said, "just keep walking", Penelope nodded her head and kept on walking, she was taking her time because she didn't want to fall and hurt herself or the baby. Meanwhile Derek looked out the window of the jet and closed his eyes and sent up a silent prayer hoping that his wife and child would be okay until they could find them.
