Shades Of Gray-Ch 5

Penelope ducked her head as she walked through the opening, Danny said, "sit down" and pointed to the chair he had set up and waiting for Penelope in the corner. She sat down and said, "w w what happens now"?, he got down in front of her and said, "well right now we're going to wait on your precious team to get here and then I'm going to take them out one by one".

She said, "what, no, no you can't do that", he said, "oh but I can and I'm going to save your husband for last and I'm going to make you watch as he dies". Penelope said, "please don't do this, please just let me go and I promise". He slapped her across the face and said, "shut up, I'm tired of hearing you talk and from now on you only speak when spoken too", she nodded her head yes and said, "y y yes, o o okay" as she grabbed her cheek.

Derek was sitting there looking out the window wondering what was going on, wondering if his wife and child were safe, he was pulled from his thoughts by JJ who said, "she's going to do whatever she has to do to come back to you". Derek said, "I would trade places with her in a second JJ".

She put her hand on his and said, "I know that, we all know that", Derek blew out a deep breath and said, "what if he kills them, what if we can't get to them in time, we have no idea where he is". JJ said, "we will find him, we already have Kevin looking and with all of the cameras all over the city we'll find him".

Dave looked at Derek in the back of the jet and then leaned in closer to Hotch and said, "I don't know what's going to happen to him if we can't find her in time". Hotch said, "not finding them isn't one of the choices here, we will find her and the baby and we will get them back safely, their is no other possible ending to this".

Emily said, "PG is probably doing everything he tells her to do so that he won't hurt her or the baby", Reid said, "Garcia is like my sister and I promise you that when we find Danny I will take him out myself if he's hurt her or the baby". Dave said, "right now all we can do is hope he screwed up and was seen on survelience camera somewhere in the city".

Meanwhile in the cave Danny looked at Penelope and said, "are you hungry"?, she said, "y yes", he said, "would you like an apple for now"?, she nodded her head and said, "yes, thank you". He handed her an apple and said, "here, I can't have you starving on me before you get to watch your husband die".

She took a bite of her apple and then he said, "here's some water for you to wash it down with", she took the bottle and broke the seal and took a sip and said, "thank you". He nodded his head and said, "even prisoners get food and water in prison", he then plopped down across the room from her and started eating on his apple.

All Penelope could think about was Derek and the rest of her team, she knew that with all of the cameras in town that they had to been seen on one, at least one. Now all she could do was wait for her team to find her and they would find her and then Danny would go down and go down hard for everything he's put her and the baby through.

On the jet Derek looked at Hotch as his cell started ringing, he then jumped up and headed toward the others as Hotch said, "yes Kevin", Kevin said, "sir I was able to follow them and I'm sending the coordinates that they were last seen to your phones now" and their cells started beeping.

Derek pulled up the address and said, "that's out in the middle of nowhere, nothing out there but caves and an old abandoned house", Reid said, "of course". Derek said, "what, pretty boy"?, Reid said, "he's going to take her someplace isolated and a place where he can see everything".

Dave said, "so we won't be able to sneak up on him", Reid nodded his head and said, "that's probably his line of thinking but what he doesn't know is that we're not coming alone". Derek smiled and said, "we're not"?, Reid shook his head and said, "how about if we do this" and everybody leaned in as he started explaining his idea.
