17. State of the Fic Address - FPB LIVES

Hi everyone,

I know it's been a while since you heard from me. Okay, about half a year.

I just popped in to tell everyone that both I and this series are still very much alive. I ran into a bit of a snag when, long story short, I lost my computer and with it all of my files. (Yes, I know. "Why the blue hell didn't you back your stuff up somewhere?!" The thought crossed my mind at a point but I couldn't be bothered with actually taking the time to do it. Dumb mistake.) This may be a blessing in disguise, though. I had three or four chapters planned out already but wasn't entirely satisfied with the direction they were going. I'm hoping this gives me the chance to do a bit of a soft reset and get back to making this a story all of us can be happy with.

I can't promise when the next chapter will be up, and without access to my own computer at the moment, I'm only going to be able to work so fast and so often. But I can promise that it will be up. Basically, assume this fic is still alive until I say otherwise.

Thanks for all your patience, and I hope to give you something more to read than this boring, unsatisfying spiel before too long.
