Shades Of Gray-Ch 7
Derek sighed and said, "remember that my wife is almost 7 1/2 months pregnant, I don't care what you do to that pri" and Hotch continued by saying, "the main goal is to get Mrs. Morgan back safely". Derek ran his hand over his head and said, "sorry I" and Dave said, "trust me son we all understand".
The teams separated with mountain/cave rescue heading up the side of the hill not far away from the cave, Hotch and the rest of the team stopped at the opening of the cave. Reid said, "Morgan, maybe you should stay out here", Derek shook his head and said, "would you if it were JJ"?, Reid said, "no, point taken".
Derek said, "I'm sorry pretty boy, I didn't mean to yell at you, this isn't your fault", Reid put his hand on Dereks shoulder and said, "I love her too and I can't imagine what you're going through but I can promise you that we're going to do everything in our power to get her out safely" and Derek blew out a deep breath and nodded his head yes in agreement as the team followed by the local police headed inside the cave.
Penelope felt a sharp pain in her stomach, she grabbed it and winced out in pain, Danny said, "what's wrong with you"?, Penelope said, "pain in my stomach, I'm okay". Danny shrugged and said, "like I care", seconds later she grabbed her stomach again and moaned out in pain.
He walked over to her and said, "you need to stay quiet", she bit down on her bottom lip and said, "I think I'm going into labor", Danny said, "meaning what, that you're going to have the brat here"?, Penelope said, "this isn't exactly ideal for me either ya know, I am suppose to have this baby in a hospitallllllll" as another pain hit her, causing her to almost fall out of her chair.
Danny said, "shhhhhh, you have to be quiet", she said, "it's not like I'm doing this on purpose, I'm in labor, labor is painful", Danny laughed and said, "are you really in labor or are you trying to trick me"?, she said, "I'M IN LABOR YOU IDIOT" and he pulled her up out of the seat and said, "YOU SHUT UP", she grabbed her stomach and said, "AHHHHHHHHHH" as a gush of warm liquid puddled at her feet.
Danny said, "ewwwww, that's that, wait did you just pee"?, she said, "no Danny my water broke", he said, "what's that mean"?, she said, "that means that this baby is on the way". He said, "no, no, no, this isn't suppose to happen", she said, "well this isn't exactly happening on my schedule either, I still have 6 weeks before he or she is due".
As the team headed on through the cave Hotch held up his hand when he heard voices, everybody stopped behind him and listened as Penelope said, "I NEED TO LAY DOWN DANNY, I NEED TO LAY DOWN". Danny just stood there looking at her shaking his head, he had no idea what to do, his plan was falling apart and fast.
Penelope said, "DANNY, I NEED TO LAY DOWN, I'M IN LABOR", Derek looked at Hotch and said, "she's in labor, we've got to get her out of there", Hotch nodded his head yes in agreement as they quietly headed toward the raised voices. Danny put his hand on Penelopes back and was leading her over to lay down when he heard Derek say, "FBI FREEZE".
Danny pulled Penelope too him and put his gun to her head and said, "alright, you all need to put your guns down or she dies", Derek said, "that's not happening, now you need to let her go". Danny laughed and said, "I don't think so, you ruined my life and now it's my turn to ruin yours".
Derek and the team looked on nervously as Penelope winced in pain as another contraction hit
