Jelly! My power is over freaking Jelly! I heard a snigger behind me as one of the other newbie fairies giggled at my power result. I shot a frown her way as I stepped back to allow the next in line to learn her ability.
"Apple from the Planet Tutti, your power is over Fruit" the monitor before her spoke.
The girls face dropped "I already knew that" she whined quietly as she flicked her right hand and a grape flew across the room into a wall.
Apple walked over and stood by me, I guess that makes two of us with useless gifts I thought to myself.
Another fairy stood in front of the monitor "Cassie from the Planet Earth, your power is over Core Fire" the girl clapped as flames erupted from her palms, she smiled as she threw her hands into the air allowing the fires to explode into colorful lights.
More fairies were to be spoken to when Apple, Cassie and I were grouped together and led towards our new dorms. Apple and Cassie seemed to hit it off well and Cassie spoke words of encouragement to Apple who was disappointed at her power reveal. But how would any sort of encouragement help me out? I knew this was such a bad idea coming to Alfea. Now look, I'm Marissa the fairy of freaking Jelly!
Our rooms as we stepped through the door took the appearance of each of our abilities only to further depress me. Seeing jelly plastered all over my bed and the walls really bugged me.
"I'm going to go check out Magix Central" I decided wanting to escape this crappy room "would yous like to tag along?" I asked the girls.
"Sure, why not?" Cassie replied standing to follow "shall we fly there or take a shuttle?".
"Umm I haven't quite transformed yet. I've only done it once before" I replied shaking my head, the one time I did I fell while flying and never attempted it again.
Marissa transformed into her Winx form. Wearing a cute battle dress that took on the appearance of a sparkly red tutu with little orange wings.
Cassie transformed and her outfit was blazing red and orange with small white wings.
"Just try" Marissa said smiling to me and holding my hand. Cassie grabbed the other and nodded like I knew what I was doing.
I closed my eyes and frowned slightly, feeling quite stupid for not being able to transform.
Suddenly, a pulse of energy awoke from my heart. The energy consumed my body for a moment, I felt heat pour over me as I moaned from the pleasure of it.
"Marissa Fairy of Jelly!" I commanded as I transformed into my cherry red outfit with medium sized fluttering wings.
"Wow. We're like a red squad aren't we?" Cassie joked as she looked over our red outfits. Still holding my hand the two of us slowly rose into the air. Marissa grabbed my other, and suddenly the 3 of us were flying swiftly towards the city. Laughing loudly as the wind whipped through our hair.
For the first time, being a fairy felt so good and I couldn't wait to see what happens next.
