The rest of our day turned out quite fun, we checked out Magix mall. Brought some new outfits, grabbed a milkshake each and played in the arcade till it was time to get back for dinner.
We decided to catch the shuttle back to Alfea with a our bags since flying with luggage didn't sound too fun.
As we awaited our shuttle a group of girls dressed in dark clothing came our way "Hey pixies" one with red hair taunted.
"Witches" Cassie frowned as she flung her hair to the side "how can we help you?".
"Well actually I saw your powers in the arcade" the red haired witch spoke, I did recognize them from being at the arcade while we were there "They're pretty tough fire fairy. I'm Rai, Witch of Cold Flames".
The witch placed her palm out and conjured a ball of fire, except the fire burned an electric blue and the heat could be felt from where I was standing. I watched in awe as she threw it into the air and made it explode with so much light, almost as if she had light magic.
Cassie decided to show off and do the same trick but sent sparks flying all around us of multiple colors.
"Impressive" Rai replied "These are my best friends, Taylor and Kim, Witches of Sky Flames and Sunlight. If you joined Cloud Tower we could become a coven, together! The four of us being a powerful group of fire witches".
"Thanks for the offer" Cassie replied shaking Rai's hand to contain her excitement "but that wouldn't be possible. I'm a fairy".
"Yeah unless you cast Fairis Witchermentis, a spell that sacrifices your wings for powerful witch magic" Rai explained hoping to persuade Cassie "Plus, once you do that you can fly perfectly without them. And magic is so much easier to use without needing to transform".
Cassie looked at her two new friends before looking back at Rai "I might actually give that some thought".
Rai gave Cassie her contact number to call later and maybe collaborate on spellwork before our shuttle arrived to take us back to school.
