"Remind me again why I'm doing this?" Cody asked, a large basket in his arms, filled with canned tooka food and other groceries.
"Because you feel insufferably guilty about almost-killing my father and swore a spontaneous oath of service to me?" the auburn-haired man in front of him, who was piling can after can into the basket, reminded.
"When I swore that oath, I though more along the lines of bodyguarding and covert ops missions. Not chores."
"Tsk. I have nine tookas and five humans to shop for. As if I wouldn't take advantage of your military training for this."
He was met with an angry scowl. He responded by placing a large canister of water in the basket with a wide grin.
"It's your own fault, you know."
"Shut up. You could at least carry your blasted pet food."
Promptly, another can was added to the pile, which was starting to tip dangerously.
"Nah."
"Really?" Cody groaned, straining under the weight.
"Yeah. Because the hovercraft I asked for is finally here."
"We had a cart on its way?"
"Yeah? They were all out, so I used some of that Kenobi charm and got them to send me the next free one."
"Oh boy."
Asparkling loth-cat grin was plastered on his young friend's face.
"Wipe that look off your face, young man, or I'll have a word with your aunt!"
"I'm technically older than you emand/em a legal adult! Your empty words won't scare me!"
"Doesn't change the fact you're a pipsqueak compared to me."
He dropped the basket into the Mandalorian's arms with a smirk. Korkie grunted and hissed, "Kriff you, Cody."
Luckily for both of them, the cart showed up that second. - Neither of their arm muscles would have survived the otherwise-ensuing game of catch.

The challenge asked for Cody and Korkie being chaotic and brotherly, so this came to mind.
