Brook was standing there a bit frightened as it was clear she didn't know who this student was. She waited as she wanted a response from her. The gray haired student began to speak as she began to introduce herself.

"My name is Naomi, and you must be Brook. Gray told me about you and he said that he would be moving in a while so I can't wait to meet him again." Naomi introduced herself. Brook seemed more nervous about this as she was beginning to back away. Naomi walked over as she could tell that the student was pretty timid. "Did I scare you or something?" She soon saw that Brook was curled up into a ball as she began to slowly open it up. Brook didn't respond, Naomi was thinking, 'Was she shy or is she just being stubborn? Either way I need to tell Kay about this.' She soon picked the student up as she wanted to tell her advisor that they had a new student. It was clear the student wasn't going to say anything. She took the student's things as they were loaded onto a bus and before long they were driving off to the school carrier. Naomi kept the student close as she knew that she didn't want her to run off or try to escape. But the ride there was enough to put Brook fast asleep, however this was only another of the strange things that were going to be happening to her in her mind.

In her dreams she saw the soldier again as he was on the newly completed Trans-Siberian Railroad heading to Port Arthur. It was clear that the trip there was going to take a while as the soldier looked for ways to entertain himself. He soon spotted a few people that were busy chatting and decided to make their acquaintance.

"So you're on your way to Port Arthur as well?" He asked, starting the conversation. The two other soldiers looked at him as they began to speak.

"Yep, assigned as soon as we heard about the Japs eyeing up our rightful territory." The other soldier responded as another one much younger than him turned as he began to speak. The new soldier looked out ahead of him.

"So how long until we get there, there are a lot of mountains and hills around the port, was it such a good idea to build a naval base there?" He asked as one of the bearded troops turned to him as he began to speak.

"Couple of weeks, we're traveling during the summer as it is a good time to travel. I hope you will get to enjoy yourself until we get there." The bearded soldier told him, they soon laughed as they continued along with their journey. The hiss of steam continued to rumble beneath them as were on their way to finding the port. Something was shaking them around but it wasn't the rails of the track.

"Brook, wake up. We're here." Naomi told her to get up. Brook lazily opened her eyes as she began to look around, they did indeed arrive at the port where they would be boarding. The ship was truly massive as Naomi was excited to get on. Brook, on the other hand, wasn't too sure. What kind of school teaches students on a boat, let alone a huge aircraft carrier. Naomi looked at her as she helped her up. "Here let me get your stuff. Just stay calm." She soon helped the new student up as she began to escort her to the carrier. She picked up one of her bags as she began walking along with her. Brook however was still having second thoughts about this as Naomi soon guided her along.

"You sure about this? This might seem a bit… off putting." Brook responded as she didn't want to really step onto the ship. Naomi looked at her as she began tugging her along.

"Relax, when we get there, we should hopefully be able to have you situated and figured out. You'll be fine." Naomi responded as she wanted to keep the student from running in the opposite direction and getting lost. She soon helped her onto the carrier as she began waving to have them be escorted to their school. A cab pulls up as they were both boarded in. Naomi was excited to be back in her school while Brook felt like she had butterflies in her heart. The cab pulled away as they were escorting new students onto the ship.

They soon arrived at the school and it was huge. It turned out that size was working against them as Brook felt like a mouse. Naomi looked at her as she nudged her forward.

"I'm scared." Brook admitted as she didn't want to get squished. Naomi looked at her as she knew the student would like it.

"Go on, I'm sure you will have a great time." Naomi encouraged her. She wanted the new student to get accustomed to the school but it was clear she was having a hard time adjusting. Soon a Motorcycle revved the engine as someone was coming. The motorbike skidded to a halt as someone was on it. She soon kicked down the kickstand as she looked at the gray haired girl and the brown haired girl. Brook soon hid behind Naomi as she was frightened, who was this stranger and what was that noise? A million questions were racing through her head as she was wondering about what was going on. Soon the girl stepped off as she was wearing a leather jacket, she soon took off her helmet as she was endowed in her appearance, blonde hair, greenish blue eyes. She soon got out a can of coke as she opened it as she began to drink it. She soon finished it as she looked at them.

"I see we got ourselves a new wave of incoming freshmen for this year. Hopefully to shake Kuromorimine up to make sure they don't get to 10 year streak." The blonde haired sophomore responded as she knew this was the match, her subordinate was also new but she had been to the school over the summer. She looked at her senior as she began to speak.

"Yes Kay. I want to make sure these new students train hard and hopefully we can turn last year around." Naomi responded as she knew that she wanted to make sure that they should be able to work this out. Kay looked around as there was a new student cowering behind her. Kay looked behind as she wanted to know who this student was. Brook backed away as she didn't want to be found out about it. Naomi looked behind as she soon picked her up by her shirt collar. Brook felt helpless as she was being toyed around. But Naomi knew she needed to keep the kid still.

"Who is this?" Kay asked as Brook was squirming hard to try to free herself. Naomi was holding her down tight as it was clear she didn't want her to leave.

"This is Brook; she is one of the new students that transferred here from America I believe. That is what the papers I got online said." Naomi told her as Kay looked down to her. Brook turned her face away as she squinted her eyes as she didn't want to be found. Kay looked at her as she turned her face to her using her hands. She then opened her eyes wide to see the eyes of the student, it was clear they were a dark blue as she seemed excited.

"Nice to meet you, welcome to Saunders University High School fellow American. I think once this is done and we get you all settled in, we should throw a party." Kay told them as she was more than eager to throw a celebration for all the students. Brook was a little nervous as she was now no longer squirming but shaking in Naomi's arms, it was clear that she seemed disturbed. Naomi looked at her as she could tell that the student was scared.

"Look you can sit out of the introductions of the school but you will need to choose a program; I'll guide you to your dorm as you do look like you need a break." Naomi told her as she began to guide her into the school. Brook followed along as she knew she could use some alone time. Along the hallways of the school, banners were set up among the school as it was clear they wanted to teach one thing: Their school was the best and that school only. Based on the looks they were in their white uniforms with gray clothes, black ties and red skirts as the standard uniform. Naomi soon got out a key as she opened the door as the key was a card as she soon opened as she let the new girl inside. She soon took out the program card from her bag as she soon handed it to her as well as other miscellaneous things for her to look over. She soon left as she shuts the door behind her.

Brook's dorm was pretty standard in design, a single bed with fine colored sheets, more posters with things praising the school hung on the walls as it wanted to get students encouraged as it was saying they are the best. Brook didn't know if that was true or not but fortunately, the posters could be taken down if the student preferred to. She knew she had to do that sometime later today as she wanted now was a nice nap. She soon laid on her bed as she turned on her phone to play some relaxing music. Soon before she knew it, she was asleep.

Brook's dreams were different as he woke up again as the train was arriving in Manchuria as he soon stepped off. Soon the leader of the guards spoke as he handed him a rifle.

"We are protecting this port from anything that might be thrown at us, our relationship with the Japanese is collapsing and soon it will be all out war if this continues to build up, any situation leading to the diffusion would only result in stuff getting worse." The leader told the soldier as he was outlying the situation. Soon he turned away as he wanted to get him situated in the port. Many battleships were stationed in the port as the mountains and hills served as a barrier in case someone were to try to invade it. The soldier looked at his leader as he spoke.

"Right sir, let's hope this crisis can be averted peacefully, I would like to see what Manchuria is like." He responded. He soon got down as he went to his post to keep a look out of their pre-dreadnought battleships that were stationed in the port. The soldier continued to look out as something was beginning to shake him again, something clicked open as someone walked in as she wanted to get the student up.

"Brook did you fall asleep again? You've been asleep for about an hour, are you just tired or something, anyways we got it all out of the way and now we're going to have a party." The person was trying to shake her awake again as the person trying to wake her up was Kay. Brook opened one of her eyes as she yawned.

"Party? I want to sit this one out, I just go here, please just let me adjust." Brook groaned as she wasn't keen on celebrating. She wasn't used to Kay's abundant amount of limitless energy as she just wanted some time to be alone. Kay looked at her as she picked her up.

"Come on, lighten up! This is for the new students such as yourself, don't think you'll sit out from everything, I want you to enjoy yourself for once, you know, socialize with me." Kay told her as she wanted her to get up and enjoy herself. Brook wanted to resist but she was tired from the journey from Birmingham to the Saunders school ship so she didn't put up that much of a fight. Kay wanted her to liven up and wake up and this party would do just the thing. She soon got her out of the room as she began to carry her off. She forgot the program's paper as she wanted Brook to decide on what she wanted to do. She soon locked the door behind her as they were now on their way to the party.

When they got to the party that Saunders was holding out front for one of their many parties and food trucks, Kay was speaking to her but Brook however seemed to be a bit more resistant and rigid with her words.

"So Alabama girl, what is it that you would eat since you look too thin for my tastes." Kay asked as she jabbed the girl on the side. Even though the girl was at a healthy weight, Kay didn't think about it as Brook began to speak.

"Well Mother expects me to eat a lot of meat but Father often says no since he fears about me having complications, he's a doctor and all and thinks a diet of mostly greens is the better option. I always liked father's cooking more since my mother makes the same stuff over and over again and in large quantities. The sheer size of it was enough to soothe my appetite. I'm English King who just eats all day and his wives would either want to divorce him or cut their own heads off themselves. No one wants to stick around a messy person. Father cares about me and my future." Brook told her on what she preferred. Kay looked at her as if she was talking nonsense.

"Well that certainly explains why you look so diminutive." Kay told her as she was going to get her seated to a table. Kay soon knew that she was going to keep her put as she went off to get food. Soon Naomi walked over as she had another new student with her, she had brown hair much like Brook but brown eyes instead of blue. She looked feisty as she sat down.

"Okay I want you to meet one of the new freshmen who is great with Electronics. Her name is Alisa." Naomi introduced her. This meeting would change the student forever.

[A/N]: Had a bit of a writer's block where I just didn't want to write nor update since the first story I have hasn't been buried underneath everyone else's yet and those that do aren't making any new layers above to push the first one down until it was buried from the first page, anyways that's all for now and would wait for everyone to update.
