Despite enjoying all of his free time and spending it with his lovely pregnant wife, Tsuruga Ren wanted to do something which he does best, 'Acting.' It brought him to a new hobby of recording himself with the concept of, 'How to Guide.' Learning to how editing and working the camera by himself, he started to regularly update with two minutes videos.
"What are you doing?" Kyoko getting annoyed and staring at her boyfriend with judging look.
"Trying what my pregnant wife eats." Ren declared and anxiously glared at the piece of pickle dipped on peanut butter. After he took a bite his face went purple instantly and stopped himself from puking, "Wow… exotic. You love these things?" he asked Kyoko.
"Who told you to try it?" Kyoko finally judged him, Ren took the camera making the audio rustle a bit.
"The things I do to let her know I love her." He sighed.
"Love you too!" Kyoko called from behind which made the actor smile ear to ear.
Few days later Kyoko noticed Ren sitting on their bed watching her look for dresses she can fit to, "You're still beautiful." He smiled and gave her thumbs' up.
"What?" Kyoko confused.
"Just complimenting you." He continued, "By the way that pink one, looked better." And indeed Kyoko chose the pink dress and went off to change. "And that fellow men, is how you please your pregnant girlfriend. Always compliment to help with their confidence." Kyoko behind the closet shook her head in disbelief.
Tsuruga Ren took everything into a whole new level, "How to cook for future wife." Everyone knows his cooking can't save his life, but with the new sponsor he's going to make the content as hilarious as possible.
The video started with Ren scrambling in a rush, wearing nothing but white tank-top and navy blue boxer shorts in his bare feet grabbing a box with the company logo.
"So today we are going to learn how to cook." He gave a nervous laugh, "Oh look… it has a matching color~" taking out small paper bag with colored tape that matched the instructional paper.
"Highlight that one, daddy. That's very important." Kyoko appeared in camera.
"Right…" Ren forgot what the color coding was fore and just flashed a smile, "Now we're going to start making simple and healthy salad."
"Careful with the knife, daddy." Kyoko teased.
"I might be terrible with the pans and stove, but I can actually cut things, mommy." Ren replied.
"I know, but remember when you cut your finger after the french-fries fiasco that happened." Ren felt embarrassed. Clearing his throat he started again, however it ended where Kyoko finally joined to help him.
"So much for my instructional video of how to make dinner for wife, but you know what I'm happy that there was no husband harmed in this video." He ended his video with an okay hand sign from him.
His little three to five minute video blew-up the internet and their fans were delighted that despite stepping out of the spotlight, Ren and Kyoko still got those thunder. Their agency President was delighted with their new thing and asked them to continue and even sent a better high resolution camera for them.
Never in their colleagues and fans' imagination would see Tsuruga Ren pulling of a hilarious act and even dressing up for the said setting, his white tank-top and navy blue boxer looking shorts became a staple in his videos including Kyoko in cute maternity dresses.
His new released video made his fans wheeze after dragging along his friends, Nick and Kijima. Kyoko is currently in labor practice and with their midwife, "You know when I told you to support your wife, I didn't mean to bring a squad to shout and cheer like this is some kind of football game." The midwife scolded Ren after he and his friends were dressed in shirts with "Push that baby" print. Nick and Kijima marched out the practice room and Ren pouted.
"How are you able to handle Tsuruga-san's craziness?" Kyoko read in one of the comments. Stifling her laughter, "That's easy, I love Ren, but there is a point where at time I give him the look and he would just give up and whine at me with apologies." Kyoko mused, "Next, Did you know he was this funny?" she read again. "Yes, even when I wasn't pregnant, he has those flat embarrassing pun jokes, I question as to why I love him." Ren in the background protested.
"But all in all he's a great guy, sometimes crazy, but I love him nonetheless." Kyoko gave that straight faced-tired sigh for the camera.
That little Q and A became a hit and most pregnant women sympathized with her predicament.
"And that's how to be a husband. Note that there was no husband and his friends were hurt in making this video." Ren ended one of his three minute clips.
