The next week or so went by as Kay was looking at her students as she noticed many of them weren't that eager to really continue participating. Naomi looked at Kay as she looked at Alisa. Kay began to speak.
"Club members of the Sensha-Do team, although our first round was a complete victory I am willing to say that we might stand a chance in this tournament. If we try hard enough we might as well end Kuromorimine's streak of winnings and get a win ourselves. Now I say we continue along with the training and show the other schools we aren't messed with!" Kay shouted as she wanted to rally the other schools together with a speech that would make them nice enough to try.
"Yeah!" Everyone in the club shouted, except Brook who had divided loyalties to the school, she didn't want to participate alone.
"Who's got the most tanks and the biggest ship? Us!" Kay shouted. She wanted to rally them together.
"Yeah!" The students shouted as she began speaking again.
"Who is going to win the school championships?" Kay shouted again as she wanted to rally them together.
"US!" The students shouted as Kay loved the sound of the student's shouting.
"And what's the reason why we're going to win?" Kay asked as she wanted to know the reason why they will win. The students began shouting.
"Because Saunders is the best of everything, all the other schools can suck it and get out of our way!" The students shouted as Kay looked over her crowd with satisfaction.
"Yeah! Our match with Jatkosota is coming up so be prepared to have another fun round. Now the meeting is dismissed." Kay soon turned as she began walking away. The other students got up as Brook began walking off as she didn't want to be noticed by the crowd. Kay soon turned to Alisa and Naomi as she began laying out her plans for the two of them as she wanted to shake things up for this match.
"I like the fact that you are managing to rouse everyone together with a good speech but we are only as strong as our weakest link. I think one of our gunners needs to be told that she needs to be working harder to stay competitive, I suggest we continue following her activities to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble." Naomi told her as she walked off Kay nodded as they knew as far as they were concerned. Brook was still a big problem.
The match with Jatkosota soon arrived as Kay was outlying the plan. Alisa and Naomi were eager but for Brook, she was still scared. Alisa was in the flag tank as Naomi was in a heavy hitter as Kay still had the kid with her.
"Okay we're going to show that school democracy like we mean it. Alisa, keep the flag tank behind and intercept their radios Naomi, snipe those tanks and I will be leading the main force." Kay told her as she knew that victory for them would be easy. The tanks began moving out with Naomi's Heavy hitter tank taking the lead. Kay looked out as Naomi soon spoke over her radio.
"We're going to head down the valley if we want to get a good fighting position. Get yourself onto the top of that ridge, you'll get a good sniping position." Kay soon barked orders as she wanted to be able to start the attack. Naomi nodded as she drove off to get herself on the top of the ridge. The tanks soon headed off as they went to attack the Jatkosota tanks that were split into two groups, the offensive group and the defensive. The Saunders tanks soon arrived at the bottom as Naomi spotted a bulk of the school's force charging in at them. Kay soon looked down to her team as she was wondering about this. She knew she was confident in her defense.
"Okay team, they most likely have light tanks but these tanks are more than quick so shoot faster than the tank can speed. Okay?" Kay was giving the orders. The crew nodded but Brook was scared as she knew that she was going to be overrun soon.
"But what about their tanks? Would they be able to overtake us?" Brook ducked down as she was nervous about this and she wondered about that becoming a possibility. Kay looked at her as she was confident that it wouldn't happen. She looked at her as she didn't know what she wanted to do but with her, she wanted to do stuff straight. Soon the tanks came cruising out from nowhere as their forces were mostly composed of older tanks. A T-26, two BT-5's, two BT-7's and their flag tank a BT-42. Kay soon knew a fight like this was imminent.
"Fire!" Naomi shouted as her tank fired the first shot. The BT-42 swerved out of the way as the shot landed behind it as it kept going, The other Saunders tanks began firing in unison as they wanted to knock out the charging tanks. The shots mostly landed around the tanks as the drivers were pushing further in as they wanted to dodge the shots. Kay soon looked at Brook as the loader was finished loading her shot in.
"Fire now!" Kay shouted at her. Brook fired the tank's gun as she ducked down wondering if the shot would make contact as the shot flew along in the air. The shot landed short of the T-26 that continued the charge. The loader loaded in another shot as the attacking tanks got close. They began firing in unison as they wanted to take out some of the Sherman tanks. Brook was right in the end. "Everyone scatter!" Kay gave the order as the tanks began turning and retreating. The shots from the enemy tanks began landing around them as the BT-42 fires a shot that ends up knocking out one of the Sherman tanks. Naomi fired as the shot landed onto the side of one of the BT-5's. Knocking it out in return, Naomi began to speak out over the radio.
"We knocked out one but we lost a Sherman in the process, we need to retreat to a new position over." Naomi reported over the radio. Kay nodded as the Sherman tanks began to trickle in as the Flag tank was leading this offensive.
"Assume new defensive positions, I want to be able to knock them out." Kay ordered everyone as she was going to be fighting and retreating, the Sherman tanks sped off as they wanted to set up some ambushes unaware of the attacking tanks.
The BT-42 soon led the attacking tanks into an area of open ground where hedges stood high. Perfect for someone setting up an ambush. Kay soon looked out of her tank's periscope as she knew where exactly she wanted them. Brook looked away as she jerked the trigger on the accident. The shot flew down as it struck The T-26 on the side as Kay looked at her. The tank was crippled but still fighting.
"No you idiot! You fire on my command not when you want to." Kay shouted as all the tanks turned to them as they had been found out. However this was merely a diversion plan as the other Sherman tanks began firing away as they knew those tanks had their backs against them. Naomi took the lead. She fired a shot as it flew in a shallow arc as it soon slammed into the side of the other BT-5 knocking it out. The other Sherman tanks fired as they soon knocked out the crippled T-26 as well as a BT-7. The BT-42 crew was getting scared as they were drawn into an ambush. The two remaining tanks retreated as they wanted to get away from the Saunders tanks But Kay's tank soon burst from the hedge as they were now pursuing the two tanks down with the others following in behind.
"Fire!" Naomi's commander shouted as she fired. The shot flew along as it slammed into the rear of the remaining BT-7, knocking it out. The BT-42 continued to dodge incoming shots but soon the back-up had arrived. The gun from the team's StuG-3 fired as the shot landed straight into one of Saunders tanks, knocking it out. The T-34/76 and T-34/85 fired off shots together as they scored another tank as another Sherman was knocked out. Kay and Brook soon got into position as Brook turned away and fired. Her shell flew along as it bounced off of the front of the T-34/76 as she wasn't able to penetrate it. Naomi's tank soon came into action as the tanks were still pursuing after the BT-42. Her commander looked at her as she was lining up her shot as the tank was on the retreat. "Fire away!" She shouted. Naomi squeezed the trigger as the shot flew along, The BT-42 soon received a shot to the rear as the tank flew a few feet before settling back down into the dust. A white flag soon popped out as the tank was knocked out. Kay opened the hatch to her tank as the commander of Naomi's tank did much of the same thing. She looked out as she began to speak.
"We did it; we managed to knock them out." Kay told her as she was happy they managed to pull free from the match. Naomi peeked her head out as the students ran up to congratulate her.
"Nice shot you did there!" One of the students shouted. They helped her out of the tank as she began cheering. Kay looked out as she walked over to her.
"I am more than proud of you Naomi, I think we should host a party in honor of you." Kay told her. Some of the older students groaned as it was clear they didn't want another party.
"Kay you need to chill with these parties." One of the students told her as she wanted her to tone these parties down. Kay looked at her as she began to speak.
"Either that or you're cutting from class again. Now you don't want to be left back." Hisami threatened them that she will personally mark them absent for not attending her parties or rather Kay's. The student nodded as she was scared. Brook looked out to them as she groaned, not another one of her parties. She knew she wanted to sit this one out again; she turned as she began walking off as she didn't want to get noticed. Kay soon nodded as they were going to be heading for the school.
Brook much to everyone's surprise decided not to go again. She instead decided to head to the room where the last meeting was held as she wanted to speak to Yuri about this. She soon knocked on the door as she wanted to address this as she wanted to begin speaking to her. Yuri heard the knocking as she wanted to see who it was.
"Come in." Yuri told them. Brook opened the door as she walked in, she was feeling rather down about herself. "Ah Brook is there a problem?" Yuri asked as she was wondering about the problems of the girl.
"Yeah, we won again but this time Kay decided to host another party. All of us are suffering as a result. I heard one of the students saying that she needs to chill but Kay just shuts them up. I don't want a head of school insisting she is always right." Brook addressed the problem to Yuri. Yuri looked at her as she began to speak as she knew the one thing that would make the girl feel better, some beer.
"I feel you. I get the same thing I might be saying as I want to say to her if she gives me orders, Idi Nahui. That would be enough to tell her to go away. Yuri told her as she was beginning to find ways to keep Kay away from the student. Brook nodded as she was drinking her beer.
"Yeah I just want to live the life of a peaceful student; I don't want to harm anyone or anything. No one deserves to get hurt and the way Kay was handling the team with these matches, it seems were breaking apart." Brook told her as she was beginning to weep. Yuri soon puts an arm around her as she knew to comfort the crying girl.
"Listen I know you want peace between the schools but it turns out I rummaged through your papers to see that Kay isn't going to remove you from the team but we need to strike her down soon enough. Hopefully when that time comes, we should be able to have our ultimate victory and maybe we can change some things up. For now we just need to wait another week or two and we should be all set." Yuri told her as she wanted to cheer her up. Brook sniffed as she knew that right was being dug at the end of the tunnel but it was all going to collapse in on them as Yuri knew that Kay would be weak and go down very easily unknown to Yuri, Kay was already gathering Volunteers for her team in case Yuri decided to pull something big. Yuri looked at Brook.
"Well we're having our own party that you would really like to attend. It is much different than what Kay dishes out with actual food and drinks. You might need to attend these so be prepared, we'll make you feel welcome. Brook now felt like she was being accepted but she didn't know what she was going to be walking herself into. Yuri knew this was part of a bigger plan.
Brook arrived at the party as the loud music was blasting around. She knocked on the door of the bar wondering if Yuri was inside, and soon the door opened as one of the students was waiting outside for her.
"So Brook you must be? Well come on inside we're waiting for you." The student responded as she took the girl inside. Brook wandered around as Yuri was busy drinking beer. Brook soon sat down next to her as she began speaking.
"The blin you here for? Oh well, you're here, let's get you accustomed to all the luxuries that the ship has to offer, I know you like Kvass so I decided, let's make you try vodka instead." Yuri looked at the girl as she began offering her the bottle. Brook looked at it for a moment before taking a sniff of it.
"Smells like nail polish, not like the very light beer I'm accustomed to but might as well give it a try." Brook told her as she began drinking the bottle of vodka. After a couple of sips she soon puts the bottle down as she began to speak. "Stings like a bee but I guess I can finish this bottle." Yuri nodded as she looked at her as the music was blasting. She began getting out other stuff as she began laying them out on the table.
"This jar right here is called Mayonez." Yuri began as she began laying out more food as well as other stuff as she continued to explain. "It makes the food taste better than something like Kay's or in this case we call her Vadim, the stuff next to me is a sausage, goes good with Mayonez and the last item next to me is a Cheburek made from stuff that we stole from Vadim's kitchen." Yuri soon puts the Mayonnaise into a small bowl as she is ready to serve the girl some of the food so she can try it. Brook took the sausage as she took a bite out of it, the salty meat definitely tasted delicious. What was this Mayonnaise that Yuri was talking about. She dipped the sausage into the mayonnaise as she took another bite out of it, it was definitely a bit of a sour and salty mixture so she put it down and popped open the bottle of vodka as she washes it down. Yuri looked at her as she was sitting in her chair.
"Blin it was good." Brook responded as she finished up the sausage. Yuri laughed as she began speaking to the girl.
"Of course be sure Vadim doesn't steal the sausages and Mayonez. Now eat the Cheburek." Brook looked at the fried pastry as she knew now she needed to go against her father's will. She soon took a bite out of it as it was filled with beef, and onions. She soon began dipping it into the Mayonnaise as she wanted to see how this tasted. She took another bite out of it as it tasted much better than the sausage. She decided to eat the rest of it as she popped open the vodka as she began drinking to get the sour taste of mayonnaise out of her mouth. "I bet you're enjoying yourself so far." Yuri smiled as the sound of Hardbass was playing in the background. The students at the bar were beginning to party hard as they were dancing the traditional dances that were part of the club as Brook soon got on the table as she squatted down.
"Look at you, you understand the lifestyle we want for the school." One of the drunken students spoke. Brook didn't really care as she continued drinking her vodka. One bottle was going to be enough for her as she was now enjoying herself.
As the minutes ticked by, the bottle slowly drained until an hour later, it was completely empty. Brook was standing around swaying a bit as it was clear she was having trouble keeping her balance. Yuri looked at her impressed.
"Wow I never seen a girl like you drink all of it but you must understand one bottle per party now get some rest and I hope the language lessons would help when it comes to taking on the menace. Hopefully I'll see you in the morning." Yuri spoke as Brook began to stumble away from the party as it was clear that all attention was on her. She enjoyed herself but it was clear others didn't know the scheme. Yuri rubbed her hands together as she knew she had the girl right where she wanted her.
Brook stumbled to her dorm as it was clear the girl wasn't clearly enjoying herself. The semi-finals were still a long way away but in reality it was a week. Kay was patrolling around in her attempt to get rid of the new propaganda posters that some of the students were hanging. She looked around as she heard squeaking on the floor. She turned as she was wondering what some of the students were doing after lights out.
"What are you doing during lights out, you should have been in your dorm already." Kay asked, wondering what she was doing away from the dorms at this time of night. Brook couldn't focus on Kay as her vision was blurry as she began speaking.
"Out with Yuri. Brook slurred her response as Kay was getting worried for the girl. She didn't know what was going on as she demanded a clear response.
"Speak up will ya?" Kay asked, she didn't hear the girl the first time but Brook was standing there without doing or saying anything. Brook looked at Kay as if there were three of the same girl. Kay soon began edging closer to Brook almost if she was sensing a disturbance with her. She soon puts her hand on her but Brook soon shoves herself away as she didn't want to be bothered.
"Idi Nauhi, Blyat!" Brook shouted at Kay as she turned away to not be bothered and knew she needed to run. Which was easier said than done since she was stumbling away. Kay soon walked over as she needed to get the girl to calm down. The best course of action was to get her on the ground. She soon puts her arms around her as she gently pushes her down. Brook didn't like this one bit. "Get your hands off of me Blyat!" Brook shouted as she wanted to be freed. Kay looked at her.
"Brook you don't understand about what is going on at the moment, you're drunk." Kay Tried to reason with her as Brook squirmed, flailing around under Kay's grasp as she tried squirming free.
"You forced me into joining Cyka!" Brook continued to scream as Kay was just smiling as she held the girl under her foot.
"Where did you get such language from? I did not force you to join first of all second, you might be consuming too much alcohol than you're really going to be used to." Kay was waiting for her response but all she got was a cough as the girl was coughing. Soon Brook vomits a bit as Kay soon releases her from her hands. "Oh dear, she must be sick." She decided to pick up the girl as it was clear she needed help.
Kay was pacing back and forth the following morning in the nurse's office as she was wondering how this girl was feeling. A nurse soon came out as she began speaking to Kay.
"Kay about Brook, she isn't really feeling that well." The Nurse began. Kay looked at her as she was wondering what was wrong.
"I figure, I don't know what is wrong with her, could it be her weak immune system is in danger?" Kay asked worried as she wanted to figure out what was wrong. The nurse looked at her as she began to speak.
"Brook's wasted from whatever she drank last night and she's suffering from the consequences of drinking that much, she has a hangover. I'm afraid the rumors are coming true about the fact that she isn't taking much liking to the school as a whole. If she keeps this up we might as well cut her from the team all together." The Nurse told Kay about the facts. Kay felt worried as she knew the school might be in jeopardy. She soon walked off as Alisa soon approached her with frightening news.
"Kay, the storage room where we kept our rifles from the discontinued sporting program has been attacked last night. A couple of students went in trying to stop them but they were brutally clubbed. I tried telling Himari about this but she wouldn't believe me. Thankfully we didn't have any airsoft pellets in the room as they just mainly took the rifles." Alisa brought the news to Kay. Kay knew this was going to get worse.
[A/N]: Sorry this took so long but I was pressured into Facebook by some friends and I feel lonely. Should I try my hand at writing novels after this or find a way to continue writing stories for you as well as novel writing? Let me know what your opinions are.
Semi Finals: Saunders Vs Kuromorimine & Pravda Vs Anzio. Anzio has been lucky in this match So far.
Originally intended to make Kay a lot darker but seeing how that was split this into two characters I am not having fun with this at all. That is all.
