The week dragged on for the school as the situation continued to crumble for Kay, not only were riots breaking out across the school, fights with students loyal to Kay were commonplace. However, worse was yet to come. Naomi was sitting in Kay's chair lounging back as Kay was pacing in place, it was clear that Yuri's efforts were taking a big toll on her morale. Alisa was still radioing in help as the school was crumbling apart. Alisa found some good news from this.
"Kay I got some news for you." Alisa began. Kay stopped her pacing as she looked at Alisa as she was wondering about it.
"What is it? It better be good." Kay soon walked over to Alisa as she knew that this better be it if help did arrive, then they could get themselves ready. Alisa turned as she looked at Kay as Alisa began speaking.
"We received help from about 12 different schools as they are willing to throw their support behind us. St. Gloriana's, Kuromorimine, Chi-Ha-Tan and Anzio are supporting us full. We're also receiving support from the middle schools as well as they want to act as the first line of defense for our tanks whom they said they wanted to use the tanks as mobile artillery. Depends on how fast the rebels take to find them." Alisa reported on who was coming to help. Kay listened as she was very happy to hear that.
"So two questions, who won and second what middle schools said they were supporting us?" Kay asked as she was wondering about who was going to stick by their side. Alisa began thinking about it but she soon remembered after a few seconds as she soon began to speak.
"Kuromorimine just lost to Pravda for their leader being absent and letting a newbie be in charge of the team. Pravda received the messages for help but they replied that they weren't choosing sides and would want to stay out of it. As for the middle schools, we're getting The Stars and Stripes Middle School who fully supports the existence of Saunders. Queen Victoria's Middle School, Meijiten'nō chūgakkō, Tricolor Middle school since their school ship is quite fast and the students have high morale, Ausztria-Magyar Middle School and their friends the feared Mittelschule des Königsimperiums, was more than willing to send volunteers according to Darjeeling. I believe Milan Middle School is also sending volunteers as they don't want to miss out on the action but they're worried about the quality of the students thinking many of them are poorly trained and the student council is right but they have bravery by their side and that is all that matters. So far the schools supporting the Rebels are SSISSN who are a bunch of retards and Srednyaya shkola russkikh koroley middle school who are so unstable that they are on the verge of a revolution, whom Yuri still supports the principal. I don't know how those two are still in touch at this point." Alisa told them about what was happening as Kay knew they had many schools by their side as she nodded.
"Ahh I see, they are too scared to side with us so they had to side with the rebels. I hope we can crush the rebellion before it gets out of hand." Kay told Alisa as she nodded. Himari was watching from a safe distance and by the looks of things, she knew she needed to go into hiding as she hopefully knew she was going to wait for this to blow over. She soon left in one big hurry.
In the soda cellar, several students creeped around as they were getting ready to bust the hatches open seeing they needed to do this quickly so they didn't draw any noise over Yuri soon handed Brook a large spiked bat as she knew she had a plan.
"Students, we smash every bottle or can of Soda we find, they are chains keeping the students of Saunders down. We must break these chains so we can have the students be part of our revolution!" Yuri told them. The students cheered as they were more than excited to get this on. Yuri turned as she raised her weapon of choice as she soon hollered. The students ran forth except for Brook as she walked along slowly observing this. Yuri was smashing bottle upon bottle as she knew that this would be such a waste but it was something that had to be done. Many different colors of fizzy soft drinks were now spilling all over the floor as Brook continued to observe, two students toppled one over as they began busting the bottles and cans open. Their shoes were going to be stained tonight as it was clear they were going to cause a lot of noise. Soon Yuri got a match as she lit the liquid on fire as it began to spread. "Students there's so much, we'll leave it all to burn." Yuri announced as the students began to make a run for it. The others followed suit as the cellar went up in flames. They had more destruction to cause.
Throughout the school, food trucks were being hauled out and toppled over as students threw any tinder they could find and set them ablaze, even some Molotov cocktails if they were being generous enough as the food trucks were no more than burning husks as their uprising had begun. Some of the students that were loyal to Kay rushed out as it was clear they weren't going to tolerate it as the school was in a full on rebellion. They soon turned as they wanted to try to convince them to stop.
"Hey stop with the burning of the precious food trucks! Kay paid a lot of money for those!" One of them shouted. Two students turned to them as they raised their airsoft rifles and began firing on the loyal students. The students shouted as more joined in as it was clear they were armed and meant business. They soon turned and ran as the students continued to fire away in volleys. Some even reloaded using the clips they managed to seize from the armory.
Kay and the others were busy wondering what was going on as smoke was seen in the school's property. Alisa looked out as she was worried about the situation that was unfolding.
"Well, looks like they began. They're probably destroying everything that resembles the school in sight." Alisa commented. Kay looked as she was beginning to weep.
"No. All of that money and hard work the students don't even appreciate. We've given up at this point." Kay told Alisa and Naomi as it was clear she was finished. Soon two students rushed in as they were covered in small marks as they wanted to report it to Kay.
"Kay, the student's, they're revolting!" One of them gave the announcement. Kay, Alisa and Naomi looked at them as they began to pack everything up that was in their sights so the rebels couldn't get a hand on them. Kay looked at them as she wasn't surprised.
"Yeah they're destroying the school so it doesn't matter at this point trying to fight back." Kay told them as it was clear that they were now after them. Soon black smoke began appearing from the vent as Naomi looked up. She decided to take a sniff at it as she was wondering what was going on.
"Smells like something is burning." Naomi told her as she knew where it was coming from. Soon a frantic call began coming in as it was a distress call.
"Kay, the soda cellar is on fire. Someone had possibly lit a match in there before smashing a good portion of the cellar down. We're just going to have to let it burn since we have no water to put it out. It's best we evacuate the school." The student told Kay as she knew that the student was right. Kay looked at the others as the two students were done packing.
"Well we better get out of here." Kay told them as she took the lead as she headed out of the school. The others followed suit as they decided to take some of the vehicles out of there as they needed to leave. Within 10 minutes, they were gone and just in time, the firecracker rounds in the storeroom above began to explode. The school blasted open as the rounds exploded with a haze of red, white, gold and blue colors as they were cooking off. Kay looked on as she knew their school was now taken over by the rebels.
Kay was at the evacuation area where the students plan on making their escape during the night. Thankfully, they had got their tanks and other vehicles over there before the rebels could get their hands on them but they weren't out of the storm just yet.
"Do you hear that?" Alisa asked as she heard a shrill happening wondering what it was, soon a shell came down destroying one of their M4 Sherman tanks. Kay got out some binoculars as she was terrified about what was now happening. It was clear they were under attack by another school ship. The Srednyaya shkola russkikh koroley ship opened fire with another Salvo. The salvo soon landed on another section of the ship, taking out one of the places where Kay would normally eat on special occasions, fortunately no one was taking shelter and most likely retreated into the lower decks of the ship to take shelter. She was now terrified thinking her life was at jeopardy. Soon the Srednyaya shkola russkikh koroley Middle school was now receiving some blows back as another ship opened fire at the Kamchatka. It was the Dreadnought SMS Kaiser as it was clear it was engaging the Kamchatka.
"Fire!" The crew on the Dreadnought shouted as they were getting close to the Saunders school ship. The Dreadnought's Salvo knocks one of the gun turrets of the Kamchatka out as the ships secondary guns fire, still focusing on the Saunders school ship. Soon a bridge was soon formed as the students began to rush across, setting up a defensive perimeter to secure the supplies.
"Just go!" A 12 year old male student shouted as they were going to hold off the rebels so Kay and the rest of the group could escape. Others came to secure the supplies as the students dragged all of the cargo off including the destroyed Sherman tank. After about a grueling hour or so, the students finally sailed away from the school ship with their guns still firing at the Kamchatka. Kay was thankful to have escaped with her life.
"Oh my, why did you guys go out of your way to fire on the enemy, what do you guys want me for?" Kay asked as she was wondering why these students were there to secure her. One of the newer students looked at Kay as she began to speak.
"Oh we didn't get the message to secure you, we were just following orders from a certain blonde girl named Darjeeling." The girl responded as Kay began to think, could all of her dreams be true.
"Is Darjeeling on the ship?" Kay asked as she was wondering about this. The students looked at her as they were sure about this.
"Yep, she is, she's in the cargo hold along with the rest of the volunteers you've called out." She responded. Kay nodded as she, Alisa and Naomi began making their way to where the volunteers were being held.
Kay soon arrived as she looked down to see hundreds of students looking ahead as many of them were in the ranges of 11 to 13 but there were quite a few older students as they were sticking their necks out for Kay. Kay walked through as Darjeeling looked at her.
"Thank goodness, you're okay, that was like a war out there. We got the message the rebellion has begun as we're just fighting near the Liaodong Peninsula. That place is much more cursed than a blessing since ships can only access the ports on a high tide and the hills and mountains that surround it means that they can just rain artillery down if we park in the port." Darjeeling told Kay that there was a battle going on and they were in the thick of it.
"The only important thing is that I managed to get out of there to regroup with you?" Kay asked as she was wondering if she was the only important thing at the moment. Darjeeling looked at Kay.
"Yes. We got your volunteers to take back the school like you had asked for. We'll have to hold a meeting for now to see what our next steps are to taking the school back." Darjeeling told her when the gunnery students came along as they wanted to speak to her about the results of the battle. "You're back, what are the results of what has happened? Did we win?" Darjeeling was wondering if they managed to score a victory. One of the 13 year old male students spoke.
"The engagement was inconclusive, the only important part about it was that we got Kay and the others and their equipment out of there before it was all captured." He responded as he gave his results. "Plus the Russian navy north to us in Vladivostok is heading south seeing there was a battle and they get really cranky when gun fire opens up. And the Kamchatka pulled the school ship away; we might as well pursue it." He reported as the navy to the north would possibly come after them if they didn't calm their nerves soon. Darjeeling looked at him as she began speaking.
"Thank you Erwin." She bowed to him as she turned to Kay as Kay began to speak.
"Who was that?" Kay asked as she wondered who this student was. Darjeeling began speaking.
"That blonde kid, he's Erwin, the principal's grandson; he definitely put on a show holding off the Kamchatka." Darjeeling told her who this child was. Kay looked at her as she knew that he had played an important role for tonight. "Get some rest; we need to plan out our actions tomorrow." She told him as she wanted to get some sleep. Kay sighed as Darjeeling was right but this crowded boat that was the school ship had plenty to offer.
Meanwhile on the battered Saunders School ship, Yuri was looking out as she was happy to have finally driven away their oppressors. Brook looked out nervously as she didn't know what was going to happen next.
"We did it, Kay is gone, we have won." Yuri told them as the fighting was fierce but they managed to beat her in the end. Brook looked at her as she wasn't so sure about this.
"How exactly can you be so sure about this?" Brook asked as she was worried about their future. "What if Kay comes back with an army and crushes all hopes of winning, what do we do?" Brook asked as she was uncertain about this. Yuri looked at her and laughed.
"The Czar has sent everyone that would be helping and we got numbers on our side so there will be no way for Kay to come." Yuri laughed as she turned and walked away. Brook sat alone as she wasn't so sure about this. Himari walked forth as she was liking where this was going. She and the others were quite impressed.
"Ahh Yuri, I see that you've gotten rid of the tyrant known as Kay, good job, even though we may have our differences but we managed to work to the same goal and with that said, we might as well begin our preparations to restore the old way of the school." Himari smiled as she was looking at Yuri devilishly. The burnette student didn't know what the black haired girl was planning on.
"Yeah but I will be leading and you won't." Yuri walked forth as the students began to wrestle down Himari's followers. Himari didn't like where this was going. The others were squirming as they began screaming.
"Himari do something!" They called out. Himari was still backing away as she was being pushed to a corner. Yuri spoke.
"I knew all I needed to do was to wait for Kay to be out of the way so I can presume control!" Yuri soon pushed her hands into Himari as Himari soon lost her balance, she fell back and off the side of one of pits that the school had managed to make and it was deep down. Himari fell for what seemed to be hours until she landed 7 decks below as she screamed in agony. Yuri turned around as she had a large force of students behind her now. "Now if anyone disagrees with me, you'll meet the same fate as Himari, next!" Yuri soon walked off as she was the one setting the rules now. Brook was now seemingly terrified with what she had got herself into as she looked at Yuri walking off. She got down to her knees as she began praying:
"Oh Ivan, what has this dissolved to? Fires are now the way of life, what would have been peaceful manners is now up in flames. I don't know what to think about anymore. The Русско-японская война is upon us." Brook was praying for a quick end to the conflict. She was now beginning to feel regret of what she had sunk her feet into. War was upon them.
[A/N]: So the first battle concludes with inconclusive results but the rebels can call this a victory and the end of the conflict but Brook is the only one with second thoughts about this. Himari has been betrayed by Yuri. Will Kay return and take back the ship, how do you want this battle to go out? Let me know everything about this. That is all.
