Chapter 1
Cerise
"Woohoo!" Apex shouted as he raced Cerise to Jade Mountain. "THREE MOONS! HOW ARE YOU BEATING ME?! I THOUGHT I WAS THE FASTER ONE HERE!" Cerise yelled at her brother. "Practice!" Apex yelled back. A couple minutes later, they landed on Jade Mountain. Baaaaa. "Goats!" Cerise said. They each caught a couple goats and started eating them. "Who knew goats could be so delicious?" Apex chuckled. Why is he acting weird? Something's up. DID HE LEAD ME HERE TO DIE?! Whoosh. She looked up and there was a flaming spear heading straight towards her heart. "Look out!" Apex shouted. He pushed her out of the way. It looked as if the whole thing was in slow-motion.
The flaming spear went right through his scales, and sliced through his heart. My brother is dead. Cerise burst into tears, and hugged her brother's dead body. She turned to where the spear came from. Scavengers.
