While Yuri was preparing the defense of the bow end of the school ship, it was clear Olivia was hot on her heels as she was approaching the hills, once the hills were captured, they truly had Yuri in place and could begin sinking the supply ships that were helping her out. The first obstacle of the so-called siege was about to begin, taking the hills surrounding the port. Olivia made sure she needed a massive student force by her side as she was promised, about 7,500 students from 7 different schools had volunteered for the task as well as the converted rebels that Kay has organized into suicide detachments to make up some more of the group to storm the hill. Olivia looked out as she began to speak.

"We got two hills we need to take if we are to provide Kay with some strength to take on the forces to the north if we do so we can trap the enemy in her own port with no way of breaking out and with cutting off the supply we can provide our freed up forces to Kay to finish the job. Now who's with me?" Olivia held a speech to get the group motivated. The students clapped and cheered as they gathered the supplies they needed to pound Yuri's first hill force into submission. Alisa walked up as she had some concern about the Howitzers they will be using.

"Kaya San, if we're going to be using these large firecrackers on their position, we should warn you that students can get severely injured." Alisa began. Some of the students turned as their leader began speaking.

"Explain." Olivia told Alisa if she knew what she was talking about. Alisa began speaking as she was wondering how to put it.

"Well the larger firecracker artillery bear really big, explosive shots that can not only destroy concrete emplacements but they have the potential of causing structures to collapse in on itself injuring many students that are inside. Even though that is good on their end but Nanshan as you put it got many of us injured and I'm worried about what if something like that happens to them." Alisa knew that the students could get some pretty grizzly wounds from the attack as Olivia looked at her as she began to speak.

"Look we don't have the luxury of time, if we sat around and waited, the Russian fleets will be there to give the rebels the needed supplies to drive us off of the ship and Kay will lose all hope of the school that she is trying to get back so we need to crush them now and say that they are too late. If I say we are going, we are going!" Olivia explained that they were racing against the clock to make sure that they finished them off before the Russian fleet arrived. Kinuyo nodded giving Alisa the go ahead to begin slamming the hill with their combination of Howitzers.

"Fire away!" Alisa shouted the order, the firecracker howitzers began opening up as they would begin an 8 hour long barrage on the hill with a combination of smaller, rapid-fire howitzers to larger field guns that were capable of slamming and destroying concrete emplacements to make stinging burns but they wouldn't kill the students. Olivia walked off as she wanted to drill the students with their guns to get them ready.

Battle of the Orphan Hills:

"Cease fire!" Olivia shouted as the 8 hour bombardment was done. They dumped over 6,000 shots into the hills alone. She was confident that the students weren't able to survive all of that as she soon raised her airsoft Gewehr 98. "Banzai!" She leads the charge as the students begin pouring from their trenches as Alisa gets out some binoculars to observe their actions.

The students on the hills got up as many of them had been scarred by the firecrackers as it definitely took out much of their defenses but some of them were still standing despite the defensive area being wrecked. The students readied themselves as they got their rifles and Maxim's out as they were ready to defend the perimeter. Olivia and the bulk of the student force were approaching the hills as they were crossing a stretch of open field with a creek running through the middle of it. They were hoping the weather was on their side as the rain began falling again and this time the visibility was poor. For Yuri this meant her troops could use the powerful searchlights as they were able to spot the wave of incoming students.

"Fire!" One of them shouted as they began firing down their Maxims on the charging crowd, the artillery soon began opening up too as they wanted to slow Olivia's advance considerably. The charging students were being flung or countered from all sides as they were being peppered by plastic pellets. Olivia soon reached the slopes as the rain was coming down on them in sheets again. More students began to arrive as this did little to slow their advance. Olivia looked up as she knew that the search lights needed to be silenced as she knew what to do. She raised her gewehr 98 and took several shots at the searchlights that were directing fire. The plastic shots tearing holes into the bulbs of the searchlights rendering them useless as they no longer had the ideas to target the students. Soon a good chunk of the students were climbing up the hill as the students continued pouring their fire down at them. Soon a rush of water came from nowhere, washing some of the students away but they managed to regroup on the other side. The students were now pouring up and over the bank as they were now advancing onto Yuri's force. The hill force continued to try to hold out but at the end it was simply getting too much for them as they soon began to withdraw from the hills.

The smaller hill was taken at sunset and the larger hill resisted for a bit longer but was ultimately taken when night fall came as the rain stopped. The force was exhausted but they managed to take one of the hills. Olivia knew that they needed tomorrow off before they would continue on with their objectives. Looking out, she managed to lose 128 of her students in the assault. Those students would be taken to the rear for their injuries as many of them got beaten up in the trenches and by the firecracker artillery.

"You see there is a reason why the firecracker ordinance is being brought into question, even though we suffered about 128 students lost which doesn't seem to be a lot but in this context, yeah it does seem a lot of students were lost. Many of them are suffering from slight burns where their legs are." Alisa told her that she shouldn't be so reckless with their precious manpower to the siege. Olivia sighed as she walked away, she was going to have to wait another day before pressing onward.

The next morning, a recon balloon was floating over Yuri's position on the hill as it was clear she was getting ready to fortify the hill as taking this hill would completely trap Yuri in her own port. The students looked up as they began firing wildly at the recon balloon to no success. Olivia managed to order the crew back as they were going to draw up plans on taking the next hill. However that wasn't going to come until the next day.

Battle of the 174 meter hill:

That day came as Olivia was rounding up a good chunk of the students as it was clear over extension was sapping her strength. 1,600 students were dispatched away to help Kay out with her attacks, diminishing Olivia's attack power significantly. The attack began the night before as they were now dropping shells onto them with their heavy howitzers nicknamed the Roaring Trains. The hill force was being bombarded and they wouldn't stop firing until all the shots were fired off in unison. After this Olivia looked up as she realized she had no more shells left for slamming the hill.

"Okay, we dumped a ton of shells onto that hill and since we have lost a good portion of our forces being transferred to other fronts, we need to take this hill as soon as possible seeing how this hill would trap Yuri and she cannot stage a breakout because of it. We need to take this hill to relieve the pressure off of our Saunders commanders now let's do this!" Olivia soon got off of the crate as she was preparing to take the hill. She soon climbed up the ladder as she looked out for the hill. She soon raised her rifle, waving it around and ordering the troops the charge. The students began to flood from their trenches as they began to charge at the hill. The students on the hill barely had time to construct defenses so they were left all by themselves. However they managed to find a concrete bunker which they had taken shelter in. During the barrage several parts of the bunker were damaged as the students retreated to other sections before the sections fell apart as they knew those sections were no longer useful. But they began firing away with all the random guns they had. But they had made use of concrete emplacements they had found a few days back to fortify the hill and were now spraying down on the students. Kinuyo tank force soon arrived after going off to get more ammunition as she began to speak to Alisa.

"So the ammo is here but where did Kaya-san storm off to?" Kinuyo asked as Alisa began loading up the Howitzers. She looked at Kinuyo.

"She went off to storm the 174 meter hill up ahead. She's going to get shredded if you don't provide support." Alisa reported as the Howitzers began to once again spit their shells at the concrete emplacements. Kinuyo nodded as she and the tanks stormed off to support them.

Olivia's forces were having a rough go as they were getting bogged down almost immediately. Many of the students were getting pelted by plastic pellets that the enemy maxim guns were spitting at them. Kinuyo was cruising ahead as she was supporting the frontal assault as her gunners were now spitting their shells at the concrete emplacements. Olivia soon arrived at the hill first as she knew she needed to take out the maxim guns spitting at their forces. Olivia clutched the explosives she was given the day before as the shells from Kinuyo's tank group consisting of the type 97 Chi-ha were firing away taking out one of the Maxim guns. Olivia held her lighter as she began to climb the hill with the students firing away at the guns to give her support. She soon arrived at the top as she clutched the two explosives as she had a third one in reserve. Taking out the lighter, she lights one of them up as she takes the fuse of the other one and lights that one up too. She waited for a few seconds for the firecrackers to be on the verge of exploding, she tossed them both into maxim nests respectfully as she began to roll down the hill, the firecrackers exploded producing a shrill of color as the crews were taken out. Individual maxims were still firing but Kinuyo and her forces were engaging as some of the students found the secret passage way in.

"Kaya-san in here!" One of them shouted, they soon took out a bush as they revealed a secret way in. Olivia nodded as she rallied the others together as she opened the door and stormed in, the others followed as they began to storm the concrete emplacements. Fellow students manning the fortress were getting beaten up or captured as the flood came in swiftly. Soon even the maxim gunners weren't safe as they felt the fire of plastic pellets hit them before they were secured by the students. Olivia opened a hatch to the top as the area was demolished. Several other students followed, raising the Saunders flag over the hill. Alisa watching this from a spy plane cheered as they were able to capture the hill. Alisa decided to radio Kay. Several students were badly injured from the firecrackers up close on both sides as they made use of the hill.

"Hey Kay we managed to capture the 174 meter hill. Kaya-san suffered some 180 injured students and Yuri about over a 100. We managed to secure the hill and now Kaya-san is begging for reinforcements. Since she is almost there and you received 1,600 students on your end." Alisa told Kay that Olivia needed more troops to keep pushing if they were going to complete the objective. Kay nodded as she knew Yuri was now trapped in her own port and she was celebrating her first victory with Darjeeling.

"Yes I have and they came in handy today, I managed to have my first battle with Brook and I won. We're turning the tide of the rebellion and we managed to get the school back. Well looking at it won't get it cleaned up." Kay told her as she was glad to be back at her old school. She knew she wasn't done just yet.

"Okay we'll talk to you later, bye." Alisa hung up as she looked at Kinuyo as she approached her.

"Kaya-san needs reinforcements and we sent the plea. Kay wasn't too keen on answering you back wasn't the thing she did. Now we're going to have to wait." Kinuyo wasn't pleased as they were losing students and Kay didn't get back to her. Alisa looked at Kinuyo.

"Kay managed to get her school back so of course she didn't mention them. I mean would you be excited being back in a place you were forced out of?" Alisa asked. Kinuyo looked at her as she began to speak.

"Just gather the reinforcements and some supplies so we can start patching the front together." Kinuyo responded as Alisa nodded and began sending the telegram for extra students to come to where Olivia was.

Battle of the 203 meter hill:

Olivia's students have dug trenches at the base of the hill as she was getting ready to storm the hill. Alisa and Kinuyo were helping out as they were getting more tanks, troops and artillery. Olivia was looking out at where the hill was. She put her hand on her stomach as it was growling. Another student walked over.

"God I'm starving." One of them told her. Olivia was getting reports of food not arriving for the others so she knew she had to ration out their supplies but they ran out of food just days ago and were surviving solely on water. Alisa and Kinuyo were starving too but it was clear Olivia was over extending herself as she was charging relentlessly after the objective but it was clear the supplies weren't going to reach them in time. An ant crawled on one of their hands as the student ate the ant wondering if it would sustain themselves. The student soon spat out the ant as the student didn't like the taste. "Sour." The student responded. Another one turned as this student was hungry too.

"I wish I can take a bite out of their pale asses." Another 6th grader responded as Olivia knew if they surrendered, there was the possibility of them having food.

"Calm down, we might get something to eat if we take the hill, once we capture the hill, we can rain our artillery down onto the port since this is the final hill we need to take. I've backed down from this hill once and I will not back down again." Olivia was right as she sent the converted Saunders in first to gauge what their defenses were but the students being themselves, soon retreated after being peppered by the enemies Maxim guns. They didn't even reach the Barbed wire like Olivia hoped for as she knew she needed a second assault to break their lines. Olivia soon made her way to where the troops were stationed as she knew she needed a plan. She soon got on top of the crate as she wanted to make a speech. Losses for that charge mounted to just 374 students as they were injured due to a misguided artillery crew. "We're almost there. We just have this one last hill we need to take and if we take it, we can start bombarding their ports from up above. Now we just need to take the hill and we can claim victory! So who's with me!" The students clapped as they yipped and cheered as their morale was high despite the fact that they were starving. Olivia soon climbed out of the trench as she held the Gewehr 98. She soon raised it up as she hollered: "Tenno Heika Banzai!" Olivia and the other students leaped from their positions as they began to exit the trenches.

Alisa and Kinuyo began to open up with their howitzer batteries as they wanted to make sure they were able to completely demolish the machine gun positions. The howitzers however were landing short as the hill was simply too big for the Howitzers to be able to target the enemy accurately. The shells exploded on the hill as the students continued to charge up the hill. The Maxim's began spraying down the area as the students had arranged them in several batteries as the students put the maxims up front with their main forces behind them. They also strung out Barbed wire in front of their defenses so they could try to deter the enemy and prevent a breakthrough which would be disastrous if it happened. However, Olivia wasn't backing down from this as she continued to charge no matter what the casualties were. Some of the students were beginning to fall due to the amount of pellets being fired at them or from exhaustion; Olivia didn't care that much as the bodies were beginning to mount. Soon Kinuyo and Alisa adjusted the Howitzers to the correct angle as they began opening fire. The forces at the top of the hill looked up to see bright streaks of light fly up to them as they didn't know what was going on. Soon the shells began exploding with the bright rainbow of colors made by the firecracker. The Roaring Trains shells were doing their excellent job in taking out Machine gun positions as the battery was reduced to a few working guns as the second line was also taken out as well. A student with some wire cutters raced up to Olivia as they soon approached the wire.

"Stay back, I'll handle this." He responded as he began snipping the barbed wire as fast as possible. The students were piling behind as she was praying that he got the work done fast enough. Soon the final wire was snipped as Olivia piled on through as the rest of the students did the same but with only one way in, this created a bit of a backlog of students as the remaining machine gun crews had no problem peppering them with the plastic pellets. Olivia was taking the lead when she was struck by three plastic pellets in the neck and left shoulder. She fell back for a moment as she never really felt the stinging of the shots. She soon recovered before charging forth once more. The students were confused to see how this girl was still charging wildly. Olivia screamed as she leaped into the trench with the plastic rifle bayonet out. She landed on one of the students from Yuri's side as she pushed her to the ground. She took the Gewehr 98 as she began swinging it around in a fit of rage.

"Just try to kill me!" Olivia shouted as she clubbed another student with the stock of the rifle. She soon swung the rifle around again bashing another student on the head. She soon thrusted the rifle bayonet hard enough to knock another student over as she didn't matter, she now resorted to using her fists. One of the students struck her on the back with its rifle stock. Olivia turned as she continued to attack the student in rage. "Try and kill me!" Olivia shouted. She soon swung her fists around clocking the student multiple times in its face as she soon kicked the student down with her foot as she was in a large fit of rage. The student looked at her as she had her hands around the student's throat. "DIE!" She shouted as she began choking the student just enough to cause the student to pass out as the student laid on the trench wall as he was still breathing but he was knocked out. Olivia soon grabbed the Gewehr 98 as she shouted one last thing. "I'm Immortal Sugimoto!" The other students got into the trench as they were rounding up the students that had surrendered on the hill.

"Kaya-san, you sound furious, is there something wrong?" One of the students asked. Olivia finally calming down, looked at her as she was filthy from all of the dirt she managed to get on herself. Olivia lost 800 students trying to take this hill and Yuri lost over 600.

"I just went off to completely knock out all of these students all by myself and we've taken the hill." Olivia sighed as she knew she wanted to walk away from this. This crew had made her go insane to where she single-handedly took out one of the maxim crews.

"Good since we now have the hill and Kinuyo is moving the howitzers up to start sinking the supply ships. You did great for us today." The student replied as Olivia turned and looked down to the port, they knew they needed to attack the supply ships that were transporting the goods to Yuri but also relieve the pressure off of Kay so that Yuri didn't stage a breakout. If she surrendered or evacuated, Olivia could turn the bulk of her forces and send them over to Kay so they could finish Brook once and for all.

Yuri was now trapped.

[A/N]: This siege takes the course of a few days so instead of making them all separate chapters, I decided to make them into just 1 chapter. Also the battles that would be happening in the course of the next 3 chapters or so will be taking place while this siege was happening. So I hope you all enjoy yourselves since the next battle will be a naval one.
