If you've ever seen Eri's profile in Volume 19 of the manga (the same volume with the IzuJirou moment of Kyouka conducting Izuku's flute playing), this is where this idea came from.
-:-
Kyouka stared at the small child before her, trying to comprehend what exactly she was seeing. This had to be a Quirk induced hallucination as there was no way something like this was possible.
"Eri-chan, what exactly are you wearing?" asked Izuku with a worried look.
Apparently her boyfriend was seeing the exact same thing she was.
"Aizawa-san gave it to me, Papa!" chirped the six-year-old girl with a smile as she showed off her outfit, which consisted of a hideous shirt/leggings/skirt combo with cats on them. "Do you like it?
Izuku rubbed the back of his head while Kyouka glared at their homeroom teacher.
"What the hell was going through your head when you even bought those clothes for her in the first place?!" demanded the rocker girl, pointing at said outfit.
Aizawa raised an eyebrow, his only show of surprise at being yelled at by one of his students. Not even Bakugou was stupid enough to yell at him, despite the feeling he had that the bomb boy thought he was superior to all of his teachers.
"I have to know that as well, Shouta. I thought my kohei was smarter than that."
It was Aizawa's turn to glare as he turned to his former sempai, who was giving him an admonishing look.
"Oh you should have seen the nurses' reactions when he first brought those clothes in for Eri-chan, Nemuri! I think they wanted to burn them!"
The insomniac teacher then directed his glare to the loud blond that he called a friend, who had a shit-eating grin on his face.
Meanwhile, Kyouka was pinching the bridge of her nose in frustration. Taking a deep breath to try and calm her nerves, she addressed her little one.
"Sweetie, go get changed."
"Why, Mama?" wondered the child, tilting her head.
"Because we are going to go to the mall and get you some new clothes, okay?"
"'Kay!" replied Eri as she headed to her room.
Aizawa's eye twitched in annoyance as Hizashi snickered. What was wrong with the outfit he picked out for Eri? It had cats on it for Pete's sake!
Damn kids had no appreciation.
-:-
"Was it really that bad, Kyouka?"
"Let me put it this way, Yaomomo. Even a blind man would think it was horrible," replied the shy rocker as she and Izuku led their daughter towards the clothes store in Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall.
Tagging along with the small family were Momo, Shouto, and Tokoyami. Momo had come after hearing why Kyouka was going and had dragged Shouto along with her and Tokoyami agreed to join after Eri asked if he wanted to come.
"Then we'll just have to find as many cute outfits more suited for Eri-chan!" declared Momo, her eyes sparkling with determination.
"I am afraid I will not be of much help," stated Tokoyami, crossing his arms. "This is out of my realm of expertise."
"I doubt you could do worse than Aizawa, Tokoyami," replied Kyouka with a sigh.
"What exactly should we keep an eye out for?" asked Shouto, looking at some of the racks of clothes.
Izuku glanced at Eri, who was looking at some trinkets with Dark Shadow. He spoke in a low voice so the little one couldn't hear and become upset. "Nothing that shows her arms or legs. Eri…Eri is still sensitive about her scars."
Kyouka let out a slight growl as she clenched her fists. If she ever met that Overhaul bastard, she was going to kill him for hurting her baby. Seeing that she was upset, Izuku came up from behind and started to rub her arms as a way to calm her down.
"It's okay. He can NEVER hurt her ever again," spoke Izuku in a soft tone.
"Doesn't change the fact that I want to cave his face in," muttered Kyouka with a scowl.
The others glanced at each other. Izuku had told them long ago about the yakuza raid where he rescued Eri from what the villain had been doing to her. They didn't blame Kyouka one bit for how she was feeling.
"Maybe we should start looking for Eri's new clothes. Shall we?" asked Momo, hoping to break the tension.
With a nod, Kyouka went over to Eri and gently grabbed her hand, leading her towards one of the clothes racks. The others went off to find items that the little one might like.
"How about this one, sweetie?" questioned Kyouka as she held up a lavender, long-sleeved shirt with musical notes on the sleeves. The purplette thought it was adorable and WAY better than that monstrosity that Aizawa-sensei bought.
Eri must have thought the same thing as she gave her Mama a beaming smile. "I like it!"
Picking up a matching skirt (it being a slightly darker shade of lavender with a musical note on the front left) and some black leggings, Kyouka then led her little one to the next rack of clothes.
"Kyouka! I found something Eri will look so cute in!" exclaimed Momo as she rushed over in excitement.
The sparkly-eyed peach held up her find, causing Kyouka to gain a blank look and Eri to tilt her head in confusion. In Momo's hands was a frilly, princess-like dress…and it was pink.
"It's…nice, Yaomomo."
The raven-haired heiress frowned. "What's wrong with it?"
"Nothing! It's just…different from what Eri usually wears."
"You don't like it."
"It's easier on the eyes than what Aizawa-sensei got her."
Kyouka pulled up the photo of "the outfit" that she took as proof of existence. Upon seeing it, Momo looked as if she just witnessed a crime.
"…Are we sure Aizawa-sensei is a hero? I think only villains would think such an outfit is acceptable," wondered Momo, wanting to give their teacher a piece of her mind.
"Oh trust me, Midnight-sensei is already admonishing him as we speak over this," replied the rocker girl.
"Good. So what do I do with this?" questioned the peach, holding up the dress again.
"What do you think, Eri?" asked Kyouka, looking down at the child. "Do want the dress?"
"It's the same color as the alien lady," stated six-year-old, referring to Mina. This caused Kyouka and Momo to giggle.
"Yes it is. Did you want a different color?"
"Green or red!"
The older girls each raised an eyebrow at that. "Why those colors, sweetie?"
"Green is for Papa and red is for Kiri-ojichan!"
That caused Kyouka and Momo to stop for a moment. Kyouka and Izuku had been trying to get Eri more used to the others, with Kirishima surprisingly being the closest to Eri outside of their little family. The redhead was going to be happy that he was finally promoted to uncle status.
"So he's Kiri-ojichan now?" asked Kyouka, a slight smile on her face.
Eri nodded in happiness. "Hai! The alien lady once said that Kiri-ojichan is just like Papa, but red instead of green!"
'…Well she's not wrong,' thought Kyouka. Kirishima was pretty much a red version of Izuku.
"Mama? Does this mean I have two Papas?" questioned Eri with curious eyes.
"No, you have one Papa and he's the fluffy, green one," came the quick reply, ready to nip this in the bud before it got out to anyone else. "The spiky, red one is your ojichan and nothing more. Understood?"
"Hai!"
Putting the pink, princess dress back, they picked up a green, less flashy dress that Eri loved. With another outfit in hand, the girls soon met up with Izuku and Shouto.
"Did you find anything, Shouto-kun?" asked Momo.
The half-and-half boy held up what he found to his girlfriend, which happened to be a dark blue turtleneck sweater. "Much like Tokoyami, this isn't really my field of expertise, but I figured something for the winter months would be suitable."
"What about you, Izu-kun?" asked Kyouka, looking towards her boyfriend.
"I found a few hero hoodies in Eri's size that she might like!" chirped the cinnamon roll with a proud smile as he held up the articles of clothing.
He found hoodies based off of Present Mic, Gang Orca, Fatgum, Hawks, and of course All Might.
"There were also hoodies based off of Mt. Lady and Endeavor, but you can pretty much guess why they were left on the rack," stated Shouto, frowning at the fact that his father had merchandise…and fans who would it them.
"Oh if you picked up a Mt. Lady hoodie, you'd be sleeping on the couch, Izuku," said Kyouka in a no nonsense tone.
"…But why would I get Eri a Mt. Lady hoodie in the first place?" asked Izuku, confused over the fact that Kyouka thought he would. "I want Eri to look up to respectable heroes like All Might, not selfish ones like Mt. Lady. Which is why I also found this!"
The shy rocker raised an eyebrow when Izuku revealed a child-sized leather jacket.
"Which hero wears a leather jacket?" questioned the purplette, her mind drawing a blank. Sometimes she wished she had her man's encyclopedic knowledge on heroes.
"You do, Kyouka. Who better for Eri to look up to than you?"
Upon hearing Izuku's answer, Kyouka immediately blushed up a storm and her earphone jacks went haywire.
"E-Eh?! I-Izuku! D-Don't say th-things like th-that!" squeaked out Kyouka as she turned away and hid her face in her hands. Her boyfriend, the All Might fanboy, just put her on the same pedestal as All Might! This was too much for her poor mind to process.
"But it's true!" stated Izuku. He then looked down at his daughter with a smile. "Eri, wouldn't you want to wear the same type of jacket as Mama?"
He had to laugh a little when the child made grabby hands towards the jacket, excitement in her big, red eyes. Eri giggled happily as she showed off her new jacket.
"I'm just like Mama now!"
Kyouka could feel her heart swell in happiness as her face burned even more, while Momo quickly took out her cellphone and took as many pictures of her cute little niece as she could.
It was at this point that Tokoyami and Dark Shadow had rejoined the group. Seeing the blushing rocker and giddy heiress, he raised a brow and turned to Izuku and Shouto.
"I assume that we missed something important?"
"Midoriya got Eri a leather jacket to match Jirou's," replied Shouto, pointing at said jacket on the little one.
The bird-headed boy looked over and gave a nod of approval. "It suits her."
"Arigatou, Tokoyami," replied Izuku with a proud smile. "Did you find anything?"
Tokoyami gave off a slight grimace. "Unfortunately the only thing Dark Shadow and I found that we thought Eri might like is this."
He held up a hairclip with a bow on it. What made it stand out though, was the bright red apple in the middle of the bow. Judging by how Eri's eyes sparkled upon seeing it, it proved that Tokoyami's instincts were right.
"Arigatou, Fumi-ojichan! I love it!" squeaked out the white-haired child as she gave her fellow apple lover a hug.
"...You are quite welcome, Eri," replied Tokoyami with a slight smile as he reached down to pat her on the head, while Dark Shadow returned the hug.
After picking up a few more items of clothing for Eri, like a few sets of pajamas ("I don't even WANT to know what Aizawa-sensei makes Eri sleep in," was what Kyouka had said), they went to the checkout to pay for Eri's clothes and then left to go back to the dorms.
-:-
When they arrived back at the dorms, a little fashion show was held for Class 1-A as Eri showed off all of the things her Mama, Papa, uncles, and auntie bought her. Right now she was currently wearing the green dress Momo-obachan had bought her, along with the hairclip bow from Fumi-ojichan, the leggings from Mama, and the leather jacket from Papa!
"Kyouka-chan! Why didn't you tell us that you were going shopping?!" demanded Mina with a whine, earning annoyed look from the purplette.
"Because this was an emergency, Mina," replied Kyouka, trying to not snap at the fluffy alien. "We needed to get to the mall ASAP to get Eri some new clothes."
Bakugou was surprisingly the next one to speak as he let out a scoff. "Why the hell should you even care?! Aizawa's the one in charge of taking care of the brat!"
Kyouka could feel her eye twitch in anger, wanting nothing more than to jab the bomb boy in the eye. Before she could snap at him, Izuku spoke up.
"Because, Kacchan, this is what Aizawa-sensei tried to dress Eri-chan in," stated Izuku as he pulled up the photo of "the outfit". "Even you have to agree that Aizawa-sensei can't be trusted when it comes to Eri's wardrobe."
The photo garnered a few reactions. The rest of the girls were horrified and promised Izuku and Kyouka to help expand Eri's wardrobe. The other boys, Bakugou included, were wondering if what they were seeing was real.
"…Is Aizawa fucking blind?" questioned Bakugou, his blank look becoming a scowl as he looked at the offensive items of clothing.
"He does tend to use his Quirk a lot," said Kirishima.
"And doesn't seem to get enough sleep," added Sero.
"That is no excuse for this," stated Aoyama, grimacing at the ugliness.
"Oh you poor little thing!" exclaimed Hagakure as she scooped up Eri and held her close, nuzzling her all the while. "Don't you worry, your aunties and uncles are going to make sure you have plenty of cute and pretty clothes from now on!"
"Yeah! And as your cool Horn Auntie, I'll even make sure you have some cool clothes too!" chirped Mina with a smile.
Eri gave off a beaming smile of her own, despite having no idea what the ghost lady and the alien lady were talking about. All she knew was that they were nice and were friends with Mama and Papa.
"It's really manly that you did this for Eri-chan, Midori-bro! Real men provide for their families!" exclaimed Kirishima with a sharp-toothed grin, giving the greenie a manly one-armed hug.
"Well Eri-chan IS my daughter, so of course I would provide for her," replied Izuku. "Of course even if she didn't see me as her Papa I would still get the things she needed."
Kyouka walked over to Izuku, placing a kiss on his freckled cheek before intertwining her fingers with his own. "And that's why you're a great dad and hero no matter what."
She let out some giggles when her cinnamon roll blushed up a storm. Of course she would soon join him in that regard due to his next words.
"Wh-What about you, K-Kyouka? You're a g-great hero too, and the b-best mom Eri could ask for! Th-That's why I got Eri the leather jacket, remember?"
A loud squeak escaped Kyouka as she hid her blush behind her hands. Her cinnamon roll was going to kill her someday with his compliments. It didn't help when Momo explained what Izuku meant about the leather jacket and the other girls started to coo at how adorable it was.
"I'm going to be just like Mama when I grow up!" squeaked out Eri, causing the cuteness factor to rise even higher.
While the girls continued to squeal and coo, Kyouka hid her blushing visage in Izuku's chest. The greenie could only laugh nervously as he tried to convince his girlfriend that she really was the best role model for Eri.
And that it was one of the reasons why he loved her so much.
