AN: So I watched Alexander Amilton and accidentally wrote a sort of rhyme version of a few events in ROTS.

So, the start of this is based on Padme's opinion on politics, Anakin's background and how it would affect HIS opinion on politics, and Ahsoka's experiences that led her to leave the Jedi order and how they affect HER views on politics.

(Why do I start with politics? idk. Don't question the muse!. And don't worry. it only starts with Politics. I wanted to give a foundation to why Anakin would end up enforcing a system like the Empire.)

It starts with Padme doing what she usually does—rallying people to her causes. Then Anakin gives his perspective on certain things Padme believes that he disagrees with. Then Ahsoka gives her perspective and makes a decision.

Its sort of monologing. So the characters say some things that they may not normally be comfortable saying outloud.

Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars.

.

Padme

It's your choice. Choose before you lose your voice.

Stand up as one and make them hear,

that we are unhappy with the way they fear change and the need to rearrange the laws so riddled with flaws.

If we all together, a billion voices as one

stood up and declared ourselves done with injustice,

we would be heard and according to our unanimous word,

others would be brought to our side,

and legally, we could change the tide of this war.

This unwanted open sore on our nation when it's whole creation was built on the idea of freedom and justice for all; we can rise when we fall.

Make change legally by our choice,

I can not stress enough how important each voice is to this cause.

Hold the applause; I'm not done.

I want slavery abolished, the corruption within demolished,

and I want us to open our eyes to the suffering happening, whether it applies to our personal lives or not.

And don't even think of having me shot,

I've already survived one after another assassination plot.

.

.

Anakin

oh Padme, my love, my angel, my dove.

Do you honestly thinkthat a billion voices can unanimously agree?

With this way of thinking, we'll never get anything done, let alone this war won.

We'll never set the slaves free because some people will always refuse to see,

no matter how hard you preach, some people you just can't teach.

No.

For justice to be done, you must not go to the thousands of elites who've never known poverty or slavery

but ...maybe if we made them see they didn't have a choice.

Their voice would not be so quick to protest the justice we need in this galaxy. Laws could be made so quickly,

if we just gave power to a select breed

of people who know what it is to be refused basic needs

and then, instead of sowing seeds of compassion that may never grow,

those who already know could just decide what's best for everyone else, whether

they want it or not; the galaxy would be less selfishly inclined to define the value

of everyone's plights or their rights.

.

.

Ahsoka

Anakin has a point. It's hard to anoint these people who take so much time

swimming in confusion just to come to the wrong conclusion.

I've fought at his side in this never-ending war,

trust me when I say I sometimes wonder what we're fighting for

when the democracy we Jedi all value so much has fallen into corruption, politics and such.

We thought we were the good guys,

the people who always could guys,

but now I see their lies. The lies of the Jedi.

Padme I respect you, masters of the council I don't judge you,

but I must refuse to be a part

of this system without a heart.

Anakin, I'm sorry I have to go.

I'd take you with me, but I know you can not leave behind

all you know and live in life.

I'll sort this out on my own,

without you or the council,

though in my heart, you'll always be home.

Goodbye, and till I get back, please don't die.

AN: So I watched Alexander Hamilton and accidentally wrote a sort of rhyme version of a few events in ROTS. My best friend said I ripped her heart out all over again by making her reimagine SW AGAIN. She is my test dummy, so Idk why she hasn't filed a report for how much emotional abuse I've put her through by reading her my writings.

Example:

"and then the villain finally has a good father figure that makes him realize not all fathers are bad. It helps him see the world and people in a new light and sets him on his first steps towards the path of redemption."

"Awe! That's amazing!"

"Then, the father figure dies!"

"No!"

"Yes! His wife and six kids back home don't even know...and it's the villain's fault! I mean not that much his fault, but you know how people blame themselves. Now he is responsible for ANOTHER family losing their father, even though he didn't do it deliberately, all because the man tried to help him. Reaffirming that he'll never be any good at anything but hurting people, especially those he gets close to."

"...Why do you do this to me."

(I'm so terrible. She's such a sweet soul, and she never sees it coming when I kill one of my characters in a story I'm writing.)

Anywho! Up next, Obi-Wan gives his opinion on Anakin. (What he wishes he could say to him when he sees him struggle.)

Please review!

Love ya!
