Yuri was reading her paper as she was finding out about this supposed student's success as she was a former friend of hers. She was getting angry as she didn't like what was going on. She began reading the paper.

"Brook has managed to score 63 knocks outs over the course of 7 days. It is only a matter of time before she wittles down the numbers completely." Yuri reads the paper as one of her students comes forth to her.

"Yeah Brook is taking out very specific members of the group. These include: Officers, leaders, Tank commanders, Artillery observers, Radio operators and Machine gunners. We're getting fed up since she is taking them out from as far as 750 yards from some sources. It is unlikely we'll be able to shoot that far but we're getting worried about her success. Plus Maho's assault on the eastern side of the holdings has caused us to completely abandon the area but in order to take the area around the city and the school; they'll need to level every building if they are going to push us out." Her second in overall command told her as she knew what was going on. Yuri looked at her as she began speaking.

"I see, taking out the leadership so we can't afford to keep losing precious leaders like these. I'm sending out two experts to track down Brook and have her captured and brought to me." Yuri explained what her plan was as she didn't want to lose anymore of her leaders or other high valuable targets. The student nodded as she got up and left. Yuri knew that she needed to get this student out as fast as possible if she was going to score any key victories.

Two tiger tanks were being cleaned from their paint stains that they received in combat. The first one was Tiger tank 212 which was Maho's Tiger and the second one was Tiger tank 131 which was the same classification as her commander's and belonged to Olivia.

"Nice job supporting those tanks when we decided to go for an armor engagement with the patrol. You and your crew managed to knock out 4 tanks today." Maho praised Olivia for her bravery. Olivia turned as she began speaking for her friend.

"Thanks, I always see what I can do no matter what the situation. We should have asked your little sister and her crew to come along with us but she decided to lead the force to take the western sector after we knocked out all of those tanks. We took the wrecked machines as prizes in the hopes they would be repaired and bolster our own forces." Olivia told her as Maho smiled at her friend. Kay walked up to the two of them wondering what the engagement was and how it went.

"Hey I heard they fell back from the western end of the area surrounding the school, losing about 6 of their tanks in the process. Did you two push them out?" Kay asked as she had found out about their news. Maho soon looked at Kay as she began to speak to her as she wanted to answer her question.

"Yes we did, Miho did most of the work as we drove them out. Olivia took care of most of their armor knocking out some 4 tanks. We only stopped because we ran out of fuel." Maho gave her reports in as she wanted to give the news. Kay looked at her as she soon began speaking.

"I'm still surprised that Olivia is still famous or infamous whatever you put it, since last year. Crushing the first rebellion altogether for Yuri and still getting some recognition despite Miho Nishizumi vastly overshadowing her. She is still deadly no matter what sport or type of warfare she is in. I say she's an all rounder." Kay gave a giggle after speaking saying Maho's apprentice is still a threat to those that stood in her way. Maho began to speak.

"I know, she is still very aggressive on her end but she has mellowed out a lot since the last rebellion and is therefore much more cautious, it's paying off seeing she is much more effective than last year." Maho told her as she continued to speak about the fuel. "Most of the fuel is being trickled in from the so-called Volga as it is still under threat from Yuri's artillery she is using. Soon Nonna approached the two of them as she had something for Kay.

"Kay, Katyusha wishes to speak to you in 5 minutes, you better get yourself down there." Nonna told her as Kay gulped wondering what Katyusha had in mind. She soon turned to Maho as she spoke.

"I need to go. We'll continue the conversation later. Take care." Kay soon left as she went to speak with Katyusha. Maho waved back as she turned to Nonna to begin discussing what was happening.

Kay soon pulled into Katyusha's office that she had set up herself as Katyusha motioned her to take a seat. Kay soon sat down in a chair as she looked down to Katyusha as she began speaking.

"So Katyusha, what is it that you've brought me here for?" Kay asked. Katyusha cleared her voice as she began speaking.

"Yukari reported to us that she heard two students walking in the center sector of the area talking about how they're going to eliminate Brook. If it was true, they'll most likely be in the northern half of the center sector." Katyusha began. She soon got out a red marker as she circled the area. "It's pretty obvious that most of the girls are hanging out there so they're going to take their time so you better move in and set up a trap for the two of them so you can catch them off guard. For this you'll be following along with Brook." Kay scratched the back of her head wondering why she was going to be following along with her.

"Why her?" Kay asked as she didn't know why she was being assigned with her. Katyusha looked at her friend as she began to speak to her about it as her answer was simple yet straight to the point.

"I want Brook to take advantage of an assistant. You can help her spot targets and if she gets into trouble, eliminate them with her." Katyusha told Kay about this. Kay sighed as she knew that it was a choice she needed to make. She sighed before she spoke.

"Okay I'll do it." Kay huffed as she had to help her out. Katyusha smiled at her.

"That's the spirit, now prepare yourself as Brook is waiting at the outskirts of the camp." Katyusha gave her the orders. Kay soon got up as she walked out of the office as she went to go prepare herself.

Kay was wearing a brown jacket with her green M1 style helmet and in her hands an M1 Garand which had superior firepower compared to Brook's M1891/30. Around her neck was a pair of binoculars she would use to help the student spot and track targets. She looked at the student as Brook looked up at her.

"Ready to come along?" Brook asked Kay if she was ready. Kay soon looked at her friend as she was happy and full of energy.

"Let's get this show on the road!" Kay yipped with excitement. Brook motioned her hand to take it down a notch. She soon began to whisper to Kay.

"Stay low and follow me." Brook gave the instructions as she creeped out of the camp first. Kay followed along as she wanted to help the girl. Much like Katyusha had ordered her. They both slip off to take down the targets.

Brook was creeping along through the shadows like a rat, making sure to stay low and silent so she wouldn't get noticed at all. Kay was trying to mimic the girl's style but being larger than Brook was easier said than done. She was moreover the one making the noise which would be detrimental since Brook knew they both needed to stay quiet to make sure they didn't attract any unwanted attention. They continued creeping around before Brook looked up to a building as she knew this was perfect.

"Large building, 3 floors or more, perfect if we want to set the trap." Brook muttered to herself. She soon turned to Kay as she flicked her hand telling her to follow. Brook trotted along crouched as she headed for the building. Kay followed along but she was trying her best not to seem noticeable. Brook soon peered into the building and thankfully it was vacant. Brook soon motioned Kay to follow her as she entered in making sure there was no trap set for them. "It's vacant, move in." Brook whispered to her. Kay soon followed in as she went inside as Brook looked around for what they could use to bait them in.

Brook and Kay creeped around in the building looking for something to use to prop the trap up. Brook soon spotted a large piece of wood that had been discarded as she soon went over and grabbed it and began to bring it over. Kay was quick to criticize her actions.

"Brook, this isn't the time to play around. Their approach to the area is imminent, we need to prepare for them." Kay told her that now wasn't the time to be doing something foolish. Brook looked up as she looked at Kay.

"I have an idea, give me your helmet." Brook told her. Kay soon gave Brook her helmet as Brook had propped the wood up straight and made sure the base was strong enough to support it. She soon took the helmet and stuck it on top. Kay looked at her as Brook had finished setting it up.

"What's the plan you have in mind?" Kay asked her. Brook looked back as she began to whisper. She motioned Kay to follow her.

"I've seen this with fishes, it's called bait. I will use your helmet as a decoy to draw the two of them in and once they are within my sights, I can pick them both off and we can gather the things and the bodies and carry them off once they figure out the dummy isn't real." Brook told Kay as they headed to the third floor. The trap was on the second floor near a window. Brook and Kay hid behind some coats as the tip of Brook's rifle poked out. Opening the bolt, she loaded in two rounds just for them. She knew that not only she should go for head-shots, but to make it a one shot knockout so she doesn't reveal her position by mistake. Kay, while having additional firepower, lacked the patience Brook possessed.

The two students walked along one dark skinned and another white with light pink hair. They were busy chatting about what they were going to do. Both had scoped Kar98k's on them as they wanted to be able to flush them out.

"Well we are assigned to take out this troubling sniper named Brook and by the looks of things, she's just an amateur with little sense of combat. She's as good as done." The pink haired girl told her dark skinned friend as she looked down the scope of her rifle.

"Hold up, I think that's her." She said. She was looking at the helmet as her friend walked over to her.

"I didn't know she wore a Saunders made helmet. Yuri told us she attended this school and it's possible she still does. Let's take the shot. This is going to be easy." The pink haired girl told her as her dark skinned friend tilted the rifle upward and shot the helmet. A lime green ball hits the helmet as it falls inward and into the building. She cocked the rifle getting the spent shell out.

"All done." The dark skinned girl told her friend. The pink haired girl looked at her as she soon spoke.

"Let's go get her body then." The two of them got up as they began to make their way to the building where the helmet was located, what they didn't know was this was a decoy and they had taken the bait.

The two girls creeped through the building and onto the second floor as they knew this was where the helmet was. Brook, patient as ever, was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. The two girls soon began creeping their way through the building while still smiling felt like there was something off about this.

"I want to see her knocked-out body." The Dark skinned girl snickered to herself as she was already feeling the excitement. Her friend looked at her.

"Same here. Yuri will be so pleased if we bring her back." The Pink haired girl replied. Soon her friend stopped her as she soon noticed something.

"Somethings wrong." She told her. The Dark skinned girl creeped forward as she had spotted the helmet and the paintball splatter mark on it. However this helmet was not connected to anything but a wooden stake. Brook had the two of them in her sights as she knew this was the best opportunity to take them out. "We've been tricked." Soon a rumbling was heard as she looked up several planes flew above as they were dropping their cargo. Her friend soon knew what was going on as she began to panic.

"They're coming straight for us!" The pink haired student began shouting as she didn't want to get splattered as the building shook and the planes were loud.

"Stay where you are! She's over there somewhere!" The black skinned student shouted for her friend to stay calm as she knew they were going to have to wait it out. The planes continued to dance overhead as their engines were drowning out the calm of the two students.

"We have to get out of here!" Her friend shouted as the buildings were slowly turning into rubble around them. She knew the leader of the group didn't hear the message. "We have to get out of here!" She repeated. The black skinned student looked at her as she began speaking.

"Just stay where you are!" She shouted for her friend to remain calm, the planes flew by as one of them dropped its cargo, the huge paintball exploded leveling out a ruined building. The Pink haired student looked at her as she was still figuring out what to do.

"What are we going to do?!" She asked as her black skinned friend looked at her as she knew what to do.

"Just stay where you are!" She shouted to her as the planes continued to fly past. The Pink haired student knew there was nothing more to do as she knew she needed to take matters into her own hands.

"Fuck this I'm going!" She shouted. The pink haired girl got up as she bolted for the exit. Her friend looked at her as she began to run. She soon shouted.

"No don't! Stay where you are!" She shouted. Brook soon focused on the Pink haired girl who was running for her life as she aimed and took the shot, gently squeezing the trigger and firing at her. The red paintball hits the pink haired girl on the side of her head as she felt the paintball make contact. She soon collapsed to the ground with a thud knocked out cold. Brook cycled the bolt as she had the other shot left. Soon an explosion occurs as dust filled the entire building, cutting off light for a moment. Once the dust settled down, the dark skinned girl looked over as she began to crawl over to where the shot came from trying her best not to get spotted but it was already too late. She looked up to see the flash of her scope as Brook instantly knew where she was, she aimed her rifle and fired a shot. The dark skinned student looked up but it was too late for her. The shot connected with her forehead as she soon collapsed out cold. Brook cycled out the last round as Kay looked at her with glee.

"Awesome job you did there, now let's clean up the mess and report back to Katyusha that we took out the snipers, by we I mean you." Kay soon got up as Brook picked up the empty rounds and followed Kay down the stairs to where the two bodies were. Kay picked up her helmet as she put it back on her head. She picked up one of the bodies as she motioned her to take the other. Brook slung the rifle over her as she picked up one of the unconscious students that went out to bring her back. The two of them began walking out of the building as they went to Katyusha to report on what went down. However someone was watching them but she wasn't here to shoot them but instead gather intel. She watched them slip off as they went back to Katyusha. The planes were more than enough for this operation to be carried out.

Katyusha was in her office when Kay returned with some news about this as she soon pulled out a chair and sat down in it. Katyusha looked at her.

"Kay you're back, how did it go?" Katyusha asked her as Kay had a big smile as she was confident.

"Katyusha, Brook knocked out both of them without my assistance. Only thing she needed was my helmet to make a decoy to lure them in." Kay told Katyusha the news as Katyusha smiled with glee.

"She took out both snipers that were out to get her. That is one awesome girl right there. She needs to make the papers to keep the troops morale up." Katyusha smiled as she soon knew she needed to get Brook up for some photos.

Night time came as Brook, Alina and Nina were chatting about something as they were outside of the grand building where the heroes were welcomed as Nina was speaking. A Degtyaryov light machine gun was on the outside as it was made for self defense.

"Looks like Brook isn't so much a sheep farmer from the United States but a shepherd's girl that kills wolves in the Urals." Nina joked as she was getting famed with the girl's marksmanship. Brook laughed at the joke as Nina was prepping her for the photographers.

"Yeah even though I wish the wolf would go off and live to tell his family the tale." Brook replied as her Ushanka was exchanged for a Pilotka. Her hair was mostly exposed as she had been dressed in a special uniform for the photographers.

"I'm sure he would." Alina told her as they walked inside. Nina looked at her friend as she was happy as ever. Nonna walked up as she looked at Brook.

"You look like a model Soviet Soldier already. I hope you will be ready when we call you in. Let me go see if they are ready." Nonna told her as she turned around and began walking back. The adults walked along as they were busy with the papers and logistics of the so-called war. Kay walked up to her as she admired the girl in her uniform.

"You look smart in your new uniform." Kay told her as she wanted to give the girl a compliment. Brook blushed a bit as she wasn't used to getting compliments like this. "Make sure they don't take it back once you're finished." Brook giggled a bit before she began to speak.

"I'm probably sure they will." Brook looked at Kay before Kay continued to speak.

"I wanted to wish you luck on the road ahead." Kay told her as she knew she wanted to bid her friend luck for the future.

"Thank you." Brook replied as Kay continued to speak.

"From what Klara tells me, we're going to win." Kay smiled as she knew she had to be calm around her. Kay continued to speak. "I guess you've found your purpose in life and I do not feel angry, or sad, or left out. If you decide to change your mind with Tankery, you can give it a shot again even if you do not seem confident. Give things you weren't too comfortable with once around another chance, maybe the results would be different. But you're still coming to university with me." Kay told her as she was more than happy to see the girl finally finding the purpose. Nina and Alina giggled at Kay as Kay soon walked away. Nonna soon reappeared as she had some news for Brook.

"It's time." Nonna told them as she guided the three of them in. The room was grand as the building itself as the national anthem of the USSR was playing in the background. The Photographers soon began crowding around her as Maho and Miho looked at her. Maho laughed as she approached her. Olivia was holding one of the cameras ready to snap a few photos of them.

"Brook! Brook!" The Photographers yipped and cheered. Several people walked forth as one of them began to speak. Kuromorimine's Tankery team leader.

"Come to my arms!" Maho accidentally knocks Brook's Pilotka off as she puts her arms around her. The photographers began snapping pictures of her as Maho looked at her.

"Over here Brook." Another Photographer shouted for her attention to be focused on her. Maho pecked Brook on her cheeks as she really enjoyed having a girl like this.

"Put your cap back on, you'll look more heroic." Maho instructed her as Brook puts her Pilotka back on her head. Maho laughed with excitement as Miho approached her.

"This way comrade Taylor." Another photographer called for her full attention. Maho turned as Miho walked alongside her.

"I love this little fellow!" Maho shouted with excitement as Brook was holding her rifle. Soon the Photographers began throwing questions at her as they wanted to know what was going on.

"Brook, is it true you volunteered for the front?" One of the photographers asked the Nishizumi sisters to guide her along.

"Brook, Brook, how old are you Brook?" Another one asked as the flashes of camera were signaled as more photos were being snapped.

"Do you know what your actions mean for Saunders?" Another Photographer asked. Brook was feeling overwhelmed with all of this praise as the Photographers were curious.

"Is it true you killed your first wolf when you were 5?" A female photographer asked her as a male Photographer had to ask her something.

"That's what Vasily Zaitsev would tell us, how many fascists have you killed today?" He reported as Brook was finding it difficult to answer all of these questions.

"Brook did you know your skills can be up there with some of the best sharpshooters in the world?" Another one asked. Maho and Miho turned as Nonna came alongside them.

"It's a sign the Liberals are starting to shit their panties!" Miho shouted with glee. Nonna soon walked up to Brook as she wanted her to speak.

"Tell us how are you going to deal with the liberals?" Nonna asked her as Brook was trying to come up with an answer which she can speak from.

"Uhh…" Brook replied before Nonna took her and pushed her to the side. She wanted her to tell the answer to one person or rather portrait in particular.

"All right enough." Nonna told her as she began pulling her away. Some of the photographers weren't done.

"One more question please." One of them called out as Nonna gave instructions to Brook on how to tell her story.

"Tell it to the boss, he likes good hunting stories." Nonna told her as she guided her to the portrait of the boss. "Это наш босс, его зовут Иосеб Сталин!" Nonna told her to introduce her to the boss. The huge portrait was looking down at her as Nonna and Brook looked up. "Look at him with pride, because he's looking at you. The whole Soviet Union is looking at you." Nonna told her as the national anthem came to an end as a couple more flashes from the cameras lit up as Brook was going to be hailed as a hero.

[A/N]: Really happy with how this turned out and we are slowly getting more views as the discord following is getting bigger. Let's hope we can get more and more views as the days go on and this story will hit 100k words in another chapter or 2. Hopefully we can get more views. Let me know if you want more Cat and Mouse duels between Brook and her foes. Hopefully we can see her change even more. Goodbye.
