Yuri and Sasha were busy looking at each other as he was busy repairing their boots. Yuri looked over as she began speaking to the boy as she got out three things, a can of vegetables, a small piece of meat and some chocolate.
"So you know these people?" Yuri asked as she watched Sasha do his work. He soon got a nail and a hammer as he began repairing the boot.
"Yes I do." Sasha replied as he began hammering away. Yuri looked at him as she continued to speak.
"When did they visit?" Yuri asked him as she was preparing the food for consumption. Sasha looked at her as he began speaking.
"Not too long ago, they were harmless and didn't cause much trouble." Sasha told Yuri, remembering when they came to visit him and his family. Yuri turned her face down as she continued to speak to the boy.
"So who is it that you want to win?" Yuri asked him. Sasha paused as he was doing his work but he was clearly undecided as he didn't have a definite answer.
"I don't exactly know for sure." Sasha replied. Yuri soon looked at the boy as she had some choice words for him.
"You better hope we win because we are stronger than those straight whites plus we've given you some of my rations in order for you to survive. Yuri responded. Sasha gulped nervously as he didn't know what to say next. Soon the Silver Haired girl came in as she had some bad news for Yuri. "Ahh you're back, did you catch Brook?"
"I'm the only one of my group left. One of us got captured and the group leader had been shot on the run in mid air." She replied. She puts down her rifle as she didn't know what to do or say.
"I don't know how good she's getting but if my loyal comrades can't do it, I'll deal with her myself." Yuri wanted to volunteer for the task to take this girl out. She soon looked at the silver haired girl as she soon spoke again. "You've been relieved from duty." The girl nodded as she walked away. Yuri turned to Sasha as she began to speak.
"Look just keep doing what you are doing but if I catch you leaking information to Kay. I will punish you okay?" Yuri warned Sasha to keep doing what he was doing or he will face the consequences. Sasha nodded meekly as he got back to work. Yuri soon looked out as it was beginning to snow. This was going to be a damper for both sides.
The wind was howling as the reoccupation force was getting ready to take the center so they could advance to the hills and take over those as well much like the plans of the first time they pulled it off. Kay, Alisa, Naomi and many others were freezing as not many of them came prepared for the early snowfall. Brook walked around as her heavy clothing had somewhat prepared her for fighting in the cold.
"Dunno what is happening but the assault is coming up and we might be too cold to pull it off." Kay shivered as she really wished that they could have waited until the storm was over. Brook noticed she was shivering as she walked over giving her one of the coats. Kay felt some relief as the girl was being generous about this as Brook left as she began to shiver a bit as well. She was getting cold. Brook soon walked to where Nonna and Katyusha were.
"Getting cold isn't it?" Nonna asked her as the snow was falling down. Brook looked at her friend as she nodded.
"Yeah I gave my jacket to Kay. Now I don't have one of my own." Brook replied as she shivered. Nonna looked at her as she knew that something was going on. She soon began to speak.
"The students morale has been dropping since we're not making any progress and the snipers are forced to duel it out among each other. We need some way to reinvigorate their spirits to keep fighting. And we're going to push for the center." Nonna told her. Soon Miho entered as she was listening to what they were saying.
"I think I have an idea. Remember the Anglerfish Dance we did when we were in a match against your school?" Miho asked, thinking about that time. Nonna thought about it for a moment as she was trying to remember it and soon it popped into her head as she began to speak.
"Yes, yes I do, what are you bringing up that in mind?" Nonna asked if Miho had a plan to help them through the storm. Miho soon began to speak.
"I do, how about we convince everyone to do the Anglerfish dance while we march through fighting the enemy." Miho suggested as she wanted Nonna to help out with this. Nonna soon thought about it as she knew something like this would be impossible to accomplish.
"I mean our troops dancing and doing the dance with the song would be impossible to pull off. Everyone needs to bear their arms to be ready to fight the rebels off from what Kay is saying and I feel like not everyone knows the Anglerfish song by heart so we might need to come up with an alternative." Nonna told Miho as she knew that something like this would be difficult to accomplish. Soon Brook looked around as she thought of an idea.
"What about Slavianka?" She asked as Nonna turned her head as she began speaking.
"That's a hard song to sing if you don't speak the language but I guess we can give it a shot." Nonna replied as the 3 students walked out as they went to inform the others about this.
The wind was howling as the snow was falling in sheets. Katyusha was sitting in her T-34. Nonna and Brook walked alongside as her IS-2 was waiting nearby. Nonna began speaking.
"Okay we're going to begin the advance through the snowstorm as I feel like if we do so, we should be able to drive the rebels from the center and out onto the open plains since there isn't any natural obstacles they can hide behind but there are a series of hills we need to look out for if we do keep pressing onward." Nonna told them the orders as she soon got into her IS-2 so she could command it. Katyusha was heading along as she was going to provide the supporting action while Nina and Alina would take charge of the KV-2. Other tanks supporting the attack were the tiger tanks of Kuromorimine, the P40 from Anzio, a few type 95 Ha-Go and type 97 Chi-Ha tanks, St. Gloriana's Churchill and their Firefly tank, Jatkosota's BT-42, Various Captured Shermans including the M4A3E8 under the command of Naomi and all of Oorai's fighting force that was going to come along with them. Soon the Pravda tanks lead the charge with the others following behind or guarding the flanks. Brook was taking a ride on the back of the IS-2 after given another fur coat to help with the blizzard like conditions. She got out her accordion as she, Klara and Nonna began to sing to keep all of their morale up.
"Встань за Веру, Русская Земля! Много песен мы в сердце сложили, Воспевая родные края. Беззаветно тебя мы любили, Святорусская наша земля. Высоко ты главу поднимала -Словно солнце твой лик воссиял. Но ты жертвою подлости стала - Тех, кто предал тебя и продал!" The two of them began to lead as the tanks soon began to fire. Soon the rest of the students joined in as they wanted to display their morale to their commanders except for Katyusha.
"И снова в поход! Труба нас зовет! Мы все встанем в строй И все пойдем в священный бой. И снова в поход! Труба нас зовет! Мы все встанем в строй И все пойдем в священный бой." The student chanted along as their tanks began firing along the areas as the rebels looked up and saw their tanks getting blown apart, they rushed to them to get the tanks started in the cold but they were ultimately targeted and blown away using the paintball rounds. The rebels began falling back as the tanks continued to cruise along in the snow. Nonna and her friends took the lead.
"Встань за Веру, Русская Земля! Ждут победы России святые. Отзовись, православная рать! Где Илья твой и где твой Добрыня? Сыновей кличет Родина-мать. Под хоругвии встанем мы смело Крестным ходом с молитвой пойдём, За российское правое дело Кровь мы русскую честно прольем." The IS-2's machine gun began erupting as many of the rebels were being wiped out in droves and falling to the ground as the students began singing along again.
"И снова в поход! Труба нас зовет! Мы все встанем в строй И все пойдем в священный бой. И снова в поход! Труба нас зовет! Мы все встанем в строй И все пойдем в священный бой." The students chanted along as the liberals were beginning to run away seeing the situation was uncontrollable for them. Nonna, Klara and Brook took over for the students.
"Встань за Веру, Русская Земля! Все мы - дети великой Державы, Все мы помним заветы отцов. Ради Родины, Чести и Славы Не жалей ни себя, ни врагов. Встань, Россия, из рабского плена, Дух победы зовет: в бой, пора! Подними боевые знамена Ради Веры, Любви и Добра!" The students continued to scatter as the freezing cold and the tanks rumbling behind them were becoming too much for them. The students began chanting again as they wanted to wrap this up.
"И снова в поход! Труба нас зовет, нас зовет! Мы встанем в строй, в строй, Мы встанем в строй, в строй, И все пойдем в священный бой. Мы встанем в строй, в строй, Мы встанем в строй, в строй, И все пойдем в священный бой." They soon finished as the snowstorm began to lift. It was still snowing but it wasn't as blizzard-like as it was before. Nonna got off of her tank as she observed the destruction they just made. 30 or so Shermans lay wrecked with a couple hundred students bruised and beaten. The others raced up as they began to drag the students away from the scene.
"Wow I can't believe this worked out so well." Alina told Nonna as she got out of her KV-2. Kay went out of her way to round up her loot as Naomi got a transmission from the ship's captain as she began to speak.
"We're staying in the Bering strait for sometime since a series of blizzards are coming this way. Hopefully the rebels will surrender before they end up freezing in the snow." Naomi told Kay as Kay began to nod.
"Excellent, hopefully this will make them think twice before launching any new attacks. Plus we took the center just like that so they will not be threatening us in those sectors again." Kay soon turned as Alisa was escorting the captured students away from the field. "Brook with all of this snow you'll be easily noticed, I say we should get you a snow colored covered uniform so you can blend in effectively when we continue charging into the field." Kay told her as her uniform's color was now useless in the snow covered landscape. Brook thought about it for a moment as she began to speak.
"Yes Kay I think a new snow colored uniform will do me well." Brook replied as she knew she had done well even if she didn't get to walk away soaked in blood. Kinuyo ran up to their waving flag as she got out a katana and with one swing, she cuts the rope with ease, their rainbow flag fell, dropping into the snow like it was nothing.
Some of the students had managed to get away as they were now running for their lives. Yuri was at one of the centers for their defense as some of the students had knocked.
"Come in." Yuri told them. The students walked in, Yuri looked at them as they had some bad news for her.
"Yuri, a blizzard had hit us and the tanks came rolling in, they took down 30 of ours and took many of us prisoner. We're slowly running out of students. It's best we call this off and pull back to the hills." She suggested as she knew the hills from the last rebellion were a good defensive position to try to hold them off but Yuri looked at her as she began to speak.
"NO! We're not falling back! I will get my victory one way or another! Kay needs to pay for all the damage she has caused last year and this year as well. We need to end this." Yuri soon slammed her hand onto her table as she knew that she wasn't going to be backing down from this so easily so she knew she needed a plan. "We need to take out her and Pravda even if it means sinking this carrier into the ocean." Yuri soon got up and walked away as she went to her private room where she couldn't be disturbed at all.
"I think this girl means it." One of the students told her friend as she was getting nervous about this. Her friend looked at her as she soon spoke.
"Nah let's keep doing our job and hopefully we can repel them, if they don't bring the end to us, the freezing weather will." She soon got up and walked away leaving her friend to her lonesome self as she looked on. Their group was now breaking down as Kay and the others were gaining their prestige.
Something needed to give away.
[A/N]: Keep the ball rolling as I know this sounds risky, let's try hitting 2k for this month and we're only halfway done so let's keep this going. Been playing some HOI4 as I need a break for a bit from writing this. I hope we don't lose steam this fast. If they don't fall from the reoccupation force than the cold weather will be the end of them. That is all for now.
