Battle was raging hard as the rebels decided to throw what they had against them. The defending students were in their trenches trying to defend from the onslaught that was coming right their way. Brook, Kay and Klara were dodging and weaving their way through the trenches as they needed to warn Tania about this. The fighting students weren't going to give up but by the looks of things they were throwing everything they had at them. They soon found their way out of the trenches as they knew they had to warn her about this.
Tania heard a violent knocking on her door as she went over to open it. Brook, Klara and Kay rush in as they wanted to break the news to Tania. Klara grabbed the suitcase as she began packing Tania's things up. Brook decided to take watch as Kay knew she had to break the news to Tania.
"What is going on?" Tania asked, wondering what the hell was happening. Kay soon turned to Tania as she knew it would be difficult to bring this up to her but she knew she had to do this.
"Tania, it's about Sasha, he was hung." Kay told her. Tania began to shed a tear as she knew that her youngest child was now gone from her. Klara was still packing her things as she handed the suitcase to her. "This area might fall so we're bringing you to ferries so you can be transported over the river to safety. You have a pass and…" Tania cuts Kay off as she begins to speak.
"I'm not going anywhere, this is my home of Sasha and Helmet-Chan. I want them to continue to live spiritually with me. I refuse to leave them behind." Tania told Kay as Brook turned around wanting to speak to Tania.
"Come on, we don't want you to die too. Let's move." Brook told her as Klara finished packing Tania's things, She soon closed the suitcase as the four of them bolted out of Tania's home.
The three of them made their way to the river as Brook decided to hang back and defend this portion to the last student. Tania was racing along with Klara and Kay as she began speaking to Kay as She, Kay and Klara were helping to carry her things.
"I don't know what to say but I just hope that Helmet-Chan makes it out of this okay. I do not want her to slip from my grasp too." Tania told them as she was racing along with the other evacuees. "If she and the others have won she will be safe and we might as well mourn for the loss of Sasha. Perhaps she will make the right choice for this rebellion." They continued to race down the slope to where the boats were when an explosion went off behind them. Tania and Klara were mostly unharmed by it as Tania looked over to see one of her suitcases had been opened. She began gathering her things as Klara got up, they soon looked behind as Kay lied there motionless. This wasn't a paintball round that was fired as she had several ugly cuts across her body. "Kay!" Tania wailed. She looked at the girl's body hoping she was okay. She knew she needed to give the girl some help. "Hey this girl needs a stretcher!" Tania shouted. Two students from the medical side nudged Kay's body onto the stretcher as they decided to escort her to the dock. Tania followed along with her as she wanted to give her leader the help she needed. Once they got to the dock, the stretchers were laid out across the area as Tania continued to tend to Kay the best she could. "I need a doctor!" She shouted. Gray soon came running in as he was busy tending to the injured students that were being escorted to the other side of the river. "I have a pass! I have a pass you must let her cross!" Gray was busy checking over Kay to make sure the injuries weren't too severe. He soon turned to Tania as he began to speak.
"She's unconscious and injured but she's alive. However there isn't enough room on the boats for all of them and at this rate she might slip out of her life at this rate, I'm sorry. It's useless she'll never make it." Gray told Tania as he wanted to make sure Tania let him know about this. Tania soon began begging Gray to let her cross.
"No She's my Daughter's friend and the head of her Sensha-Do team. You got to let her cross! I beg of you!" Tania screamed for Gray to let her onto the ferry. Gray soon decided to think about it but came to the conclusion that this girl was the leader of her team and meant great importance for her school.
"Okay she can cross." Gray told her as Tania kissed the man's hands. He soon turned two to workers of his as he began to speak. "Carry this girl onto the ferry." Two adults soon began carrying Kay's body onto the ferry as Tania soon asked another question.
"Got a piece of paper and a pen?" Tania asked. One of the workers gave her the paper, a pen and a clipboard to lean on. Tania began writing out a message as she wanted to let her remaining child be safe. She soon went up to the post board as she took the paper off of the clipboard. She soon took a thumb tack as she placed the message down and using the thumb tack, inserted the message into the place, she kissed it and ran off. The message read: I am in good health. They are evacuating me to the other side of the bank. Sasha is confirmed to be dead. Keep well my Helmet-Chan.
Brook and Klara were now by themselves when several police officers rode up to them on horses as they had some news for the two of them.
"Girls, we found the body of a 10 year old boy in the train yard hanging by a rope tied around his neck. We were wondering who did it and if either of you know this boy." One of the police officers told the girls as they were carrying the body off. Brook soon spoke first.
"I do, his name was Sasha, we were just with his mother not too long ago to break her the news." Brook responded as the officers scratched his head. Neither one of them were capable of making the murder but the officer needed more from them.
"I bet she must have been upset, can any of you piece together what was going on." The officer told them as he wanted them to spill what happened before it happened. Brook soon began to speak again.
"I was just with the boy last night as we were going to hunt down a girl named Yuri Nakamura. Sasha told us he was working for her but really wanted to get rid of her so he agreed to show us where she was hiding. He decided to make his way back home tomorrow morning when I was with my friend Kay. Soon she noticed something was off and she grabbed the binoculars and that was when we found his body." Brook described it the best way she could as the Police officers looked at her as she gave a partial part of the story. Soon Klara decided to add something in.
"Я даже видел ее на обратном пути, она держала мальчика за воротник рубашки, говоря ему, что он ее не слушался. Она также держала веревку на одной руке." Klara added. Brook turned as she translated that for Klara.
"Klara tells me that she saw them. Yuri was carrying Sasha by the collar of his shirt telling him that he disobeyed her and she had the rope in one of her hands." Brook added in. A female police officer turned as she began speaking after the results of the fingerprints came in.
"Yeah the fingerprints on the rope came from this Yuri alright. Sasha we conclude had been killed by strangulation." She reported, the male police officer soon turned to them as he began speaking.
"Well Brook, is it? I've heard your actions with a rifle so I thought maybe paintball rounds weren't enough." He soon walked as he knew he had a copy of the rifle that she was holding. He soon handed it to her as he soon began to explain. "This is an actual M1891/30 sniper rifle. You will be bringing this Yuri back dead or alive. I am counting on you for you to do it." He soon handed Brook objects that were very similar to those she used to take out her targets with one major difference, these were sharp with pointed noses that stayed together when they hit something, they were actual bullets. "I wish you luck so bring her back and we'll take things from there.
"I promise I will." Brook swore that she was going to hunt down Yuri until she had her right where she needed her to be. Brook got up as she left for the train yard. She motioned Klara to follow her as they were going to get going. This needed to end today.
Back at the train yard. Brook was under some rubble as she was looking out to try and find where Yuri was hiding among the ruins. Klara soon ducked in as she looked at Brook as she began speaking.
"Где она? Где Юрий?" Klara asked as Brook didn't flinch. She knew her target wasn't too far. She didn't bother to turn her head to face Klara in fear of giving herself away.
"Примерно в нескольких дюймах от вашего лица." Brook responded as she was right. Yuri wasn't too far off as she had her sights on the two of them however unlike Brook she was still using the paintball gun rounds while Brook had actual bullets on her. If she gave herself away, a blow to her head would be mortal. Klara soon began to speak.
"Я был таким дураком, Брук. Мужчина всегда будет мужчиной. Нового мужчины нет. Мы так старались создать равноправное общество, в котором нечего было бы завидовать ближнему. Но всегда есть чему позавидовать." Klara began as she soon paused. She knew there was something she had to envy about. Brook remained motionless like a stone as Klara continued to speak. "Улыбка... дружба. То, чего у вас нет и чего вы хотите присвоить. В этом мире - даже советском - всегда будут богатые и бедные. Богат подарками... беден подарками. Богат любовью... беден любовью." Klara soon readjusted herself as she soon began speaking about Kay as she wanted to let Brook know about this. "Кей не вернется. Получила травму Брук. Она была зарезана осколком. Это было быстро. Я не думаю, что она даже предвидела это. Она возвращалась к вам. Как только она увидела Таню на лодках, она возвращалась за тобой. Она была права, ты хороший ученик, Брук." Brook began to tear up almost if she was beginning to cry as her friend wasn't coming back even if it was someone she was getting onto a new page with. Maybe even a new book. Every year had its book, ups and downs, dragging scenes and adrenaline rushes of excitement. Klara soon looked at her as she began to speak to Brook again. "Я хочу помочь тебе, Брук. Позвольте мне сделать последнее. Что-нибудь полезное для разнообразия. Позвольте мне показать вам, где находится майор." Klara soon stuck her face into the open as she wanted to get Yuri's attention on her. Brook looked at Klara as she turned and shouted.
"Не делай этого. Не делай этого!" Brook shouted. Yuri fired as the paintball round flew through the air. Klara dodged behind as the paintball splattered onto the wall. Brook looked at Klara who had her heart jump into her throat for a moment. She knew Klara would do something as crazy as this but for Brook. She knew she needed an idea to lure Yuri from hiding and into the open where she could shoot her. She turned to Klara. "У меня есть идея выманить волка из логова. Я инсценирую тот факт, что тебя нокаутировали, и позволю ей выйти посмотреть, кого она застрелила. После этого я загоню ее в угол и пристрелю, если понадобится. Оставайтесь на месте." Brook soon took the orange smudge left from the paintball round as she rubbed it on Klara's head, once the smudge was noticeable, she gave one last instruction to Klara. "Просто сделай громкий стук, и она выйдет." Brook soon left hiding as Klara agreed. She soon flopped over as a loud knock was heard. Yuri knew she knocked someone out but who. She soon got out of hiding wondering if she knocked out Brook. Both were going to search each other in the trainyard.
Yuri wandered around but she was heading in a straight line knowing that Brook was right across from her. Klara laid there with her eyes closed as she was trying to bait Yuri into a trap. Yuri continued to make her way to where Klara is thinking it was Brook. However Brook was going to be somewhere else entirely. Yuri soon heard some footsteps as she soon turned and looked over. She turned left as she headed to a large locomotive. She looked around and standing right in front of her a few yards away was Brook, holding her rifle as she had a serious look on her face. She knew she wanted to end this.
"So the shepherd decided to make an appearance, what are you going to do, use the timid ignorant sheep to your demand to catch the one who's eating the herd?" Yuri taunted Brook in an attempt to bring her spirits down. Brook growled as she soon began to speak.
"The tables have turned. I'm not the scared lamb as I was in the beginning but now the wolf is the hunted, even if the sheep don't eat meat." Brook soon raised the rifle up to her shoulders as she turned it as she was getting ready to fire on it. "In the end, the white will always beat the black because the black is the arrogant, uneducated and ignorant mass that doesn't even comply with who is right and who is wrong. So is the rainbow haired liberal."
"Yeah you just never stop listening to orange girl. She is bad, destroying diversity of the school, censoring us left and right. I would wish for the days you agreed with me." Yuri told her if she was tempting her to return to her old ways, Brook however wasn't listening to her at all.
"Yuri you need to listen, Orange girl is right at the end. Diversity at the end of the day if forced down someone's throat is bad. Giving rights to black students and saying they matter and no one else is bad. Everyone matters at the end of the day, no matter what they are capable of. Everyone needs to have a voice but you should restrict them on what they should say or things will fall apart. Maybe the Anarchist should be put to death for the destruction for what that person did. Man, woman, child, the rainbow flag needs to fall and needs to be burned. We need to move on." Brook told Yuri that Kay would always be right no matter what the view was as if it wasn't always truthful but as close to the truth as she could. Everyone on either side needs to move on from what they did and hopefully they could come to an agreement. Yuri looked at Brook with anger as if she was right and Brook was wrong. Yuri soon spoke with rage in her eyes.
"Well Kay is always wrong for a reason!" Yuri shouted. She soon raised her rifle but Brook was one step ahead of her. Brook aimed down her rifle's iron sights as she knew Yuri was in close range. Brook fired first, bam! The bullet through the air as it was clear this wasn't a paintball round that Brook was so used to aiming, predicting and using. The bullet struck Yuri in the forehead as she soon collapsed, all that happened within a second. Brook's eyes burned with fire as she cycled the bolt to the rifle, ejecting the empty casing. She picked it up and put it in her pocket as she began to walk over. She was now standing over Yuri which had a bullet hole in her head, blood was seeping from the wound as it had impacted her. Brook looked over as she soon spat on the girl.
"Long live comrade Katyusha liberal." She muttered. Brook soon began to drag Yuri's lifeless body and her rifle to where Klara was hiding. Klara woke up as she soon saw Brook.
"Ты сделал это, Брук, у такой девушки, как ты, хватило смелости сделать что-то подобное, и, надеюсь, с Кей все будет в порядке. Я просто надеюсь, что у нее все хорошо." Klara congratulated her friend as she soon picked up the body. They knew they needed to report to the police about this as Brook took out their leader in a battle of wits. Their collapse was certain now.
[A/N]: So that was the endgame? We need to keep the ball going to see if we can reach a 1000 views for this month to see your support for this. Other than that this rebellion should be over with their leader gone. Next chapter will deal with the fallout of the situation and how it all comes together in the end. That is all for now. Goodbye.
