Until it Breaks
Disclaimers I don't own Naruto or RWBY or LINKIN PARK, please support any to all official releases and the fandoms within your community.
Naruto had waited for the afternoon to arrive before he would've enacted his revenge, as he recalled that all of the children would be out of the house for either afterschool related activities to even being out with the care givers at the park.
Once he knew nobody was home, Naruto entered through the front door and made his way under the house where he began to pour himself a trail of gasoline leading to the outside.
Once he had his trail set and to not only set the place on fire, but also to explode next to the second canister, all that was left was for Naruto to light that mother.
"Naruto" called Sasuke as the blonde turned his head to see his friend with the lighter ready at hand.
"Sasuke, what are you doing here" asked Naruto as he began to sweat while his skin paled in fear, "Itachi told me how you not only got thrown in jail, but you decided to quit right after you got out" said Sasuke as he notice the lighter in Naruto's hand.
Getting closer, Sasuke began to smell the scent of gas and seeing the lighter in Naruto's hand on top of him being here, and well it didn't take a genius to figure out what's going on here.
"Naruto" Sasuke said wide eye as he hoped that this was either a bad dream or a huge misunderstanding.
"Go home Sasuke and pretend you never know me" said Naruto as he began to flick and light the lighter in hand.
"Naruto stop what you're doing and think about it for a moment" pleaded Sasuke as he did not want to witness his friend going down a dark irredeemable path.
"I've had a lot of time to think, so now it's time for me to act" said Naruto before tossing the light on the porch as Sasuke tried to prevent it from making contact to no success.
Soon, everything that was made in contact with gasoline was suddenly a blazed, as Naruto had tackled down Sasuke from getting himself burnt.
Looking back at it, Naruto had remained neutrally expressed as Sasuke looked in horror, before anger took over him as he turned to punch the blonde in the face.
"You murdering psychotic asshole" Sasuke said accusingly as Naruto looked at him with blood tickling down his face.
"Why the hell would you go out of your way to murder a bunch of innocent children like that" Sasuke as he gripped onto Naruto's shirt, "Calm down, I made sure that no one was home before setting this place on fire" coughed Naruto.
"And that makes it better and excusable because" said Sasuke as he wanted to hear what his friend had to say before having to turn him into the cops.
"Help" cried the voice of a child as both men went wide eye and looked everywhere to see where that voice came from.
Letting go of his grip of Naruto as he began to back away, Naruto went wide eye in horror to see a kid inside the orphanage stuck on the second window, calling for help.
"Help!" cried the child in mercy, "Oh no" Naruto said regrettably as he had no intention of harming anyone in his grand scheme of saying 'fuck you' to his unfair life in this cruel unforgiving world, and was still committed to that.
Grabbing the water hose, Naruto began to douse himself in water, before running head first into the burning orphanage without a second thought.
"Naruto!" called Sasuke as he was ready to do the same thing, "Stay here and call the damn fire department already" shouted Naruto as he began to run up the burning stairs while they were still intact.
Kicking in the door of one of the many rooms he was familiar with, Naruto saw the frighten child by the window sill as a corner of the room was already set on fire.
"Come here, I'll get you out of here" called Naruto as the child ran up to him without a second thought or word.
Picking up the child, Naruto looked back to make sure there was no one else left behind that could be in danger, as he hid the child deep in his jacket.
Once he was certain, Naruto exited the room ready to run down the stairs, Naruto stopped when he saw that the stairs were no longer an option as they not only completely on fire, but turned to cinders right before his very eyes.
Thankfully they were on the second floor, and looking over the edge of the balcony, all Naruto had to do was hop off, land on the glass table below him, and the door was less than 10 feet away from them.
"Hang on tight kid" Naruto told the child as he began to pray for them to make it out alive.
Running head first into the burnt railings, Naruto was ready to land his feet on the edges of the iron and glass table, before getting them out of dodge, but due to the frail conditions, his sudden weight caused the table to sink in to the floor causing a sudden imbalance that got him to crash into the floor.
Ignoring the heat, pain and burns he had sustained, Naruto looked down on the child to see if they were alright, who thankfully were.
Good give me strength, thought Naruto as he tried to get up, but his leg was caught onto the table with a large thick shard of glass through his calf.
Trying to move it, Naruto bit down his lips as to not scream in pain as he found the situation to be unfair, at least for him.
"Hey kid are you alright" asked Naruto as the child muffled a yes, much to Naruto's relief, "Naruto!" called out Sasuke as he was right there waiting at the door way, bare witnessing the whole thing as he hoped Naruto would make it.
"I'm sorry Sasuke" Naruto said regrettably as he realized now that of all the things and of all the people who's trust he could hurt and who's friendship was ruined, it had to be Sasuke's.
"Kid I need you to get up and run for the door, and whatever you do don't stop, my friend will take you from there" said Naruto as the child looked at him in fear.
"But I'm scared" said the child, "I promise you, you'll be fine so long as you run for the exit" Naruto said to encourage the child before he heard a loud crunching sound.
Looking up the second floor pathway was starting to cave in from the fire, and could break down and fall on top of them any second now.
"Come on kid, I need you to get a move on already" said Naruto as he found the strength to sit himself up and stand the child back on his feet.
"Naruto, hang in there" called Sasuke as he had a look of horror and doubt of his friends situation, "On the count of 3, you run and don't look back, got it" said Naruto as the child nodded in response.
"1…2…3 go!" shouted Naruto as the child ran as fast as they could towards the door, causing Sasuke to ignore his well being to run head first into the flames to securely get the child out to safety.
Feeling hot embers and splinters raining down on him on top of loud crunching noises, Naruto was ready to accept the consequences of his selfish actions at long last.
"I guess I deserved this" Naruto said to himself as he was ready to meet his maker, "Naruto!" called Sasuke as he was ready to charge in and rescue his friend now, not knowing the risk that he's putting his life in danger.
"No, Sasuke!" called Naruto as he won't allow his friend to be dragged along with him to his death.
"Naruto!" called Sasuke as he was a foot away from entering the door frame with his hand reaching out, "Sasuke!" called Naruto as he reach out his hand to warn him off, to him to stop from throwing his life away from him, a guy deserves to be burnt alive and burn in hell.
Unfortunately, that was the last thing Naruto ever saw before a piece of burning debris fell and landed on his head, where the memory that lead to his death ended.
Present
The flames of the burning orphanage were at long last extinguished after 3 days, the bystanders began to disappear as all that remained was charred rubble and ash and sitting at the spot where he died was Naruto.
Approaching the place with caution, Ruby saw Naruto saddened with his head hanged low as she had no idea what he was forced to relive.
"Naruto" said Ruby as she reached and tapped him on the shoulder, as she saw him silently crying.
Having empathy and an understanding what Naruto was going through, Ruby hugged the blonde as he continued to cry and cry before he eventually passed out on the spot.
Resting his head on his lap, Ruby allowed him to sleep as today had been an eventful day for him as much as it was for him.
As she remained in place, allowing Naruto to sleep, she notice a familiar car from earlier when she first met Naruto had parked on the street, and for the first time since being here, she felt a sense of dread.
Even though the time has long since passed when the concern of any of their torn flesh away body to be in any danger, she felt an ominous presence as the door to the vehicle open, where at long last the morning sings no more for the duo.
Alright, I'm going to leave you guys with one more chapter before my day ends, and I really appreciate the love this story has gotten since I published this yesterday, and at the rate I'm going, I'll definitely have this fic concluded before the end of the month.
As always, be sure to fave, follow if you want to stay updated and see this story through, and as always leave me a review cause I enjoy reading those, preferably ones that aren't single emoticons, cause seriously I'm tired of them along with anyone who leaves a '…' in the review section cause seriously no author likes them and it needlessly fluffs the review section in the most stupidest way possible.
This has been your Humble Narrator Tobi Yaza.
