Chapter 0.5

The wind blows in my eyes as I land with Feather creating a whirlwind and scaring away the nearby Pokemon. Prompting the nearby trainer to start walking towards me.

"Hello Lyra" He greets me as I make my way over.

"Hello" I answer in caution to the man.

"Are you finally taking up my offer?" He asks with his red eyes gazing towards me.

"I know your tricks you can reveal yourself already," I answer glaring towards him.

"If you say so" He laughs as a cloud of smoke appears clouding my vision.

"Nice trick!" I giggled as he falls backward.

"Such a shame" He sighed as he picked himself up "It was cool on the movies..."

"Anyway, where's the package?" I ask him as he grabs a white box.

"Here my little Dearling" he answers with a stupid glimmer in his eyes.

"Thanks a ton!" I answer as I get back on my Talonflame "I'll see you in a few days!" I then shouted as I made my way to Olddale town.

Chapter 1 "The Beginning"

I don't want to wake up... no.

"Hey, Sky wake up!" Mum grouchily shouts from the kitchen.

What's her attitude "I'll be right down Mum!" I answer. What's up with today... I finish groaning as my short stature climbs down my loft bed. Today feels important. I then think as I start brushing my hair.

That jerk better not of waking me up for no reason- "I bet you can't go faster!" A surprising voice shouts from the hallway interrupting my thoughts.

That jerk "I bet I can!" I shout back as I get my clothes on contemplating what today is as I look to my left finished with my clothing. I am an idiot! I groan as I realize the day. The day I become a trainer! How stupid of me... I finish as I grab my trainer bag that had been shipped the day before to my house.

"Live up to that bet!" The cunt shouts mockingly as I walk out my door with my new luggage. I then groan as I see her smug grin staring into my eyes. "Follow me!" she shouts as the stupid brat makes her way downstairs at the speed of lightning.

"Rude" I groan, I should become a electric specialist just to beat her Pokemon. I then realize how disrespectful it is to use the living creatures for spite. Unless they use spite. I laugh as I reach the lower floor recoiling as something jumps on my face.

"Get it away!" Lyra screamed as I realized what the object was, which in fact was not an object.

"Weaver!" I announced as my starter and Spinarak crawled down to my shoulder. I've always loved poison types. Her arrival was amazing with me only catching her last week. She had snuck into the pantry and with me finding her I had indoctrinated her with a quick Netball to the face. I had the latter gotten as a birthday present last month along with my trainer gear, much to my mum's dismay.

"You didn't tell me you had a Pokemon," my mum asks as a glare goes to me. She wouldn't approve that's why I then shoot back mentally.

"I didn't think of it until now." I apologized to her as I reached for the netball on my neck to return Weaver.

"Heh, nice job" Lyra the birdbrain congratulates me as she handed me a white box. What is this all about? "Here you go!" she then says as the box falls into my hands.

"Thank you!" I graciously open the box to find an enlarged Pokeball. What could this be...? "Let us see what's in it!" I announce as I press the button revealing a small green and yellow Pokemon.

Buw But? it then asks as my eyes light up. It's so... Cute! I scream mentally as my mother investigates.

"Aww!" her eyes light up as the baby Pokemon looks up to its releaser. "A Budew!" she then announced as she looked at the flying type trainer to inquire.

"My boyfriend has a Roserade that recently had a clutch. After selling off the healthy ones he had tried to find a good or a starting trainer for gift him to as it had been a runt of the litter. In the end, he gifted the runt of the litter to me as he heard from me that my cousin was becoming a Pokemon trainer." She answered my Mum in a long and underwhelming speech as I advanced on the Pokemon.

"Hey, buddy!" I greeted the small Pokemon as it looked up to me.

Bew Buw? It then asked me with a confused look as I began talking to it again. "Together with you and Weaver we will defeat the gym bracket and become the strongest persons in Hoenn!" I encourage the small Pokemon as it answers with a nod not knowing what it was but must have wanted to become strong and this must be a way to become it.

"Nice speech but we need to meet up with your friend right?" Lyra asks me as I get up and return the Budew with a flashing red light.

"Let's go!" I answer as I walk to the door grabbing an energy bar as I make it out the door with Lyra close on my tail.

"Slow down" she then tells me as she released two Pokemon a Talonflame and a Swellow. "Get on Tailwind." She instructed me as she pointed to the Swellow's saddle.

"Okay..." I answer warily as we get on the two flying to Pokemon.

"Let's go!" She then shouted as we got lifted up into the wind. I'm gonna die... I'm gonna die... I am going to die! I then scream as we made our way across town.

--

"Lets go!" She shouted as we both landed although compared to her I look like I just went through major trauma.

"You there!" Jay shouted as he ran out with his trusty Sandshrew Sherpa

Shew Shew! The shrew announced its presence as we started to talk.

"Finally! I feel like I'm going to puke!' I shouted as I stumbled off the Swellow which got returned with its friend relatively quickly by Lyra.

"Such a great experience!" Lyra monologued as Iand Jay discussed.

"So we're going through route 102 right?" Jay asked happily as I nodded. "Neat, so in other terms would you like to have a Pokemon battle?" he then asked which surprised me quite more than it should have. Obviously, he would want one we are just starting our journey.

"Let's go to the Field near the route" I suggest and as he agrees we head to the fields which were already in sight with Lyra trailing behind.

"Let' ss go!" He shouts from the other side of the field directing Sherpa to the field.

"Us too!" I announce as I release my newly named Budew, Bloom, the name had taken a while to land on as the sky isn't favored by grass types.

"Use scratch" Jay ordered with his high hopes.

"Stun Spore!" I ordered the Budew which quickly created a cloud of yellow dust which quickly covered Sherpa causing him to quickly become paralyzed.

"Keep going!" Jay ordered as the Sandshrew charged forward hitting Bloom with a weakened scratch.

"Worry Seed and then absorb!" I ordered the Budew which quickly confused and then defeated the Sandshrew.

"Ahhh good fight" He congratulated me as he returned his Pokemon.

"Good Job to you too!" I congratulated him "if I didn't have a type advantage that could have been a close fight!" I followed it up still knowing that without the type advantage he would have just been able to last only a few more turns.
